Frustrating.
Free parking
The staff were not informative, they pack the cars in so tight they had to wake up the people next to is at 3am for them to move their car so we could leave for the airport.

Pleasant
Good Location, east access to transportation system, Consistently good breakfast
Pleasant and without major issues. Staff are friendly though having laundry facilities will definitely be a major plus. Parking spaces needs to be monitored and managed properly. Should turned motel into fully non-smoking. Housekeepers were very good.

great hotel at relatively cheap price
location, price, space
Hotel was easy to find, can walk to fisherman's wharf and piers. Walked to pier 33 to cruise to Alcatraz. There's a cable car station nearby too. Take all the way to union square. But realised taking bus is cheaper. Take cable car at least once for experience. Overall, no complains about hotel besides the simple breakfast, though you wouldn't wan to eat too if there's other food nearby too! Happy with this hotel.

Excellent choice in good location
value, location, parking
This is an excellent choice for a mid to lower priced hotel (for generally expensive San Francisco)close to the Marina district, many restaurants, and walking distance to many of the famous sights. Very good location, and importantly parking is included in the room charge.

Adequate Hoel for a few days
Good sized room for three people; comfortable bed; complimentary continental breakfast
Not as close to the city as we thought but good/inexpensive public transport closeby. Would have preferred a café closer for my 82 year old father. Staff were Ok when prompted but could have been more friendly. Clean room. Generally Ok for a short stay. The hop on/hop off bus stopped right outside which was good

It was a good, functional hotel/motel.
Breakfast, room cleanliness, central location.
Got to the hotel and immediately given enough information to get in and settled. The breakfast was good, though a continental buffet, I.e. it is a selection of Danish Pastries and muffins, great fruit and coffee, tea and orange juice. The breakfast was in the lobby, with seating for about 4-6 (total number) on plush seats and people are encouraged to take their food to their rooms if no space is available. The room was one of the biggest I have stayed in, but it was at the front of the hotel, overlooking a busy street, so not the quietest. The bathroom was huge, shower was good, but the fittings were quite old. The decoration in the hotel is not the best, personally and this is kind of indicated by the pink paint on the outside. Do not go to this hotel for the views or the prettiness of the hotel. Strangely, it is about 10 minute's walk from the crookedest road in the world and this section of the road is a big draw in the area - note, walk there and do not bother with a car at the weekends, as there are cues almost from the hotel to the crooked road section. The hotel is pretty near to the bay and the nice views, so it was great for us. Interestingly, one lobby attendant gave us water for our water bottle, but another refused and said that they only had hot water, so service was inconsistent.
