Beautiful place, great people going some great things within the community - From the staff to the travellers. It seems to attract some interesting people. I had lots of fun. It's a very chilled place to relax in the sun on the lux hammock reading a book from their library, or take a dip in the rock pool to refresh from the humidity.

Sometimes I feel lazy to write review comments after my stay. But this time I have to write, and sincerely write, because I received a very warm and friendly service from Bukit Raya Guest House. So, thank you Ibu Ruth, Pak Thomas, Ibu Beatrice and Pak Peritno. My comments: - Ibu Ruth, Pak Thomas, and Ibu Beatrice are very warm and they helped us with a lot of suggestions (especially Ibu Ruth) on where to go, how to go there, and they even helped us to arrange to call the driver or even the trip to see orang utans. I think even a 5 stars hotel staffs could not provide such an excellent hospitality. - I booked a room that does not comes with hot water, and then one day I catch cold, and they allowed me to use their personal bathroom which have hot water. - I love this guest house design, wooden house with artistic design and the atmosphere would let us feel like we are at home. If you love to read books, there are some spots where you could enjoy your books with a cup of coffee. During my stay, once it was raining there at Palangka Raya, and I could not go out as most of the tourist spots are outdoor activities, so I stayed at the guest house, and I felt good because there is a small park inside, I was thinking if I stayed at another hotel, maybe I would just see walls in my room, or swimming pool, or lobby, which is just too common, but this one is different, we are more close to the nature. - Foods for breakfast are bread and fruits, and they are all fresh and very delicious. - The location is not far from the downtown, you can rent a bike or a car from this guest house too. I missed one thing, I remember Pak Peritno said that if Pak Thomas & Ibu Beatrice is available, we can order a BBQ dinner, I smelled a BBQ smoke on my last day, if next time I visit Palangka Raya again, I will definitely try their BBQ. Maybe it is authentic Swiss BBQ. :D Thanks!

Homi banget tempatnya adem , walaupun seharian gakemana² cuman disini aja betah banget , staff nya juga ramah ramah berasa kayak rumah sendiri aja gitu , suasana kolam pepohonan asri banget , anak aku juga yang masih 1,5 tahun happy banget soalnya banyak binatang² bisa sambil ngenalin gitu sama anak , puas banget pokonya , next bakal balik lagi siihh pasti
