The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but the shower didn’t have much pressure so we needed to use a bucket. And they only cleaned the room once when we asked them (and we stayed there for 6 nights). You can find better place in the same price.

This place was adequate. The staff are nice but don't offer much. The location is perfect. The air con is great but the water pressure was weak. I would stay here again.

No cleaning”
Rooms were clean when we arrived but not once did they clean our rooms during our 3 nights stay. When I asked about periodicity of cleaning, they said they clean every 2 days. Did not seem so though. We had to ask them to take out trash bin full of dirty toilet paper. We had to use the same wet towels for 3 days because it is quite hard to dry them due to high humidity. It was surprising because we had much cheaper accommodations during our trip in Philippines where all these things were automatic. We also missed water purifier at the property.

False pictures -too expensive for what it is”
The green wall and the little hut at the bottom of the garden no longer exist, today there is only a concrete wall on front of the rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean but nothing that justifies such a price. The location is close to the center but quite noisy for the rooms closest to the main road. This hotel would be ok at half its current price (and we did 1 month in the Philippines to be able to say that).

Beautiful setting in the city”
Took a trike to hotel. Owners - husband and wife- very personable and warm. Greeted with a huge fresh buko coconut and then driver to a local restaurant for an intro to Palawan meal. Had a relaxing breakfast in garden and then was given a ride to hotel in the city......would have preferred to stay at Bulul but they were full.

Great little budget hotel in the middle of El Nido”
We stayed at Estrella for five nights and had a great time. We couldn't really find any reviews for this place and normally I'm a big fan of reading reviews before booking. But we took a chance and that turned out to be a great decision. The hotel is like five minutes walk to the beach. The hotel itself is not very big but it's super cozy and the rooms are very clean. I don't actually think we booked a room with air con but when we got there all the rooms seemed to have air con. Staff was nice and helpful when we had questions. Only minor annoying thing was the roosters going crazy from around 6 AM... but that's a problem all over El Nido. So you might want to bring earplugs.

Clean ,Good Location with Reasonable price.”
I reach hotel by the rider cost only 50 peso. this pesion locate in good location only 5 mins to walk to the beach. the lady is kind genten and helpful. the price is reasonable compare with other 2-3 stars rate or bed & breakfast in El nido. the room is clean , new and give u new quality tower & bed sheet. Wifi is slow but recommend to buy *Global* prepaid sim card the shop in front of the pension cost only 40 peso and top up 200 peso for 5 days unlimited Data. this pension rate 1 star , but i think it is better than 1 star since the room provide u good and new standard facilities & amentities in el nido.

Great location, smart hotel”
I enjoyed my stay at Bulul Gardens; after the trek of getting to El Nido it's fantastic to stay somewhere within a few minutes' flip-flopping of the beach! The wifi is somewhat unreliable and rooms are a little smaller than anticipated, but clean and comfortable!

It's a good hotel with friendly staff, good positon and good price. They have 4 nice, clean rooms with a small garden. We went to the hotel at 4am but they are still ready to welcome with no extra fee. Staff is very friendly, helpful. After check out, we left our baggages and still had a bath. Just walking to the beach or other central street (cause of very small El nido). Its price is also competitive with others. Water in the bathroom is a little weak, However, I'm satisfied with this hotel. See El Nido again.

Best Hotel in El Nido”
We had an amazing stay, the staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful. They were very accommodating during our stay, the staff had no problem keeping left overs and food in their fridge for us (there are no fridges in the rooms) and went out of their way help with any requests. I'll definitely be staying here again if I ever go back to El Nido!

It was more than I expected for its price! will be going back again here on our next visit to El Nido. This place is really value for money- you have aircon, fan, cable tv, wifi, hot & cold shower and a veranda! Nice place to relax after a challenging island hopping experience!

Simple yet convenient”
The hotel is good enough for us to rest properly. It is also located in a place about 15 meters from the beach so you can have a quiet rest when you need to. In a nutshell, it was a perfect place for thise who are in a tight budget but would want to enjoy El Nido, Palawan.

clean but no closet/cabinet”
it was a good place but in my opinion too pricey if you are just going to be out of your hotel the whole day to be on tour or you will arrive at night just to sleep coming in from the 5 hr bus ride from Puerto Pricesa. They have hot water BUT the water pressure there is sooooo low that i was at the end of my shower and the water just stopped. It came back on at about 3AM!!! Also they have NO cabinet/closet, no place to hang your clothes! They serve breakfast at php 150 a plate which isn't so bad plus they serve it at the small balcony outside your room. Their wifi signal is also very weak. The location is good though just along the main road and you can walk to look for food or drinks. A bit far from the beachfront but the downtown area of El Nido is so small everything is all walking distance. All in all a nice place but too pricey for a place you just use to sleep and shower after being on tours the whole day.

Unfortunately it was a short stay, just 2 days... We would stay for longer time with a good pleasure. Very friendly stuff, clean rooms and nice garden. Perfect location, just 2 min walk to the restaurants/shopping area and the sea. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay!
