Best hotels & accommodations in Pai

The owner of this guesthouse is a complete sweetheart, and the grounds the rooms are on are gorgeous and a complete surprise. The grounds are beautiful, and it's a hidden gem in the middle of Pai center. The room was a bit small, especially for two people, and it's very basic, but it was clean and sufficient, and there's a private outdoor porch so it really wasn't a ...

We stayed for a week ( Yes we got stick in the Pai-Hole) after re-booking two nights more, than two nights again.. 7 days later this is the best value for your money. We stayed in guesthouse #2 (private bathroom). There is a double bed and a fan along with three locking windows. The location was ideal for us (two 30's something Americans) because it is about a half mi...

The owners here were great,He would suggest everything you want. The house was clean, and all the animals here was friendly. The air was fresh ,this place was really cozy. At night there might be some little inserts. And All in all, Thanks for the owners, they are really nice people. I will recommend the nearest restaurant just located next to the guesthouse which covere...

It’s true that Pai is magical. You intend to stay for a couple of nights and end up staying longer but the staff here was a hugeee reason why we stayed, especially in the same place. Nathalie and Ta have been, by far, the absolute best hosts we’ve encountered. Cozy Pai felt like home away from home. We cooked over an open flame Ta helped us start. Nathalie is the most ...

Booked our stay by accident. Thought it was closer to the center. I have never been more happy to have booked a place. Its a 10 min ride by scooter from Pai center. Located near the Mor Paeng Waterfalls. Excellent food, great location overlooking the mountains. The owner actually managed to organize some wine, flowers and a special meal for me and my girlfriend for Val...

Unicorn was a great affordable place to stay, I will say it is close to the main road which makes it great location wise but you do get a bit of noise during the day. the swimming pool water was a bit cloudy but they cleaned it often. walking distance to anywhere in Pai''s town center

We arrived and walked up to orange grove which is only a 10 minutes easy walk and it was nice to get away from the busy main strip. The bungalows are set in a peaceful garden with lime, orange and banana trees. We booked the wrong dates, but luckily for us Carol had room and sorted us out. When arriving they do provide pick up when Carol's husband is Stroud. If you hav...

Location is good if you want to escape from busy center of Pai. Close to Pai Canyon and Pem bok waterfall. Wooden bungalo with bathroom and terrace is pretty quite and cozy. However bed mattress is pretty hard. There is a fan, kettle and mosqito net. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty.

Traveler impressions of Pai
Great little laid back Mountain town. Be prepared to relax compared to other tourist spots in Thailand.
A beautiful small town. Best travelling around by motorbike! You can rent motorbike at the walking street for a very decent price! Food is delicious and cheap! People in this town are very nice and kind.
Nice place to visit during cool weather, also easy for backpacker the road might quiet dangerous so travel with caution.
Very nice chilled out town with lots to do and see. Beautiful landscapes and scenery to be seen. Definitely recommend renting a scooter for the day.
Nice and quiet area, with some nice sightseeing in the area. There is a street market every night, if you enjoy some street shopping.
It's a great Hideaway, very good weather!! there are many places to visit around Pai but have to drive through the long crooked roads but very very impressive!!
Nice whether, 27 degree celsius. Peaceful place. Things was cheaper than Bangkok especially message & food.
I love Pai, truely amazing and cosy place, Great nature, kind locals, beautiful nature, a lot of activities, very delicious food.
Pai has a small night market every night at the Pai city area, it's worth to walk and find some good food there if you're up for street food.
Many shops and coffee shops, nice restaurants, also have night market, very lovely and beautiful place !!
Cold and cool environment, that different in Chiang Mai town. The road to pai are very slope and curve need to be very careful
We only managed to stay one night and the night we stay is raining so the night market is close early, spend two night is perfect for this location, but my mates can stay for a weeks.
Pai in love in everywhere in Pai, this is romantic city with coffee shop name "Coffee in love" - nice place to visit, there is a old bridge near a village named "memorial bridge" and Pai canyon place need to visit
This is most definitely a tourist town in Thailand and definitely has a "hippy" vibe. The Thai food is terrible, however the western food was great so if your looking for a break from asian food this is probably the best spot in all of Thailand.
Pls. go to dine at No. 9 on town and you won't be disappointing. Stay at a nice hotel such as Reverie Siam and enjoy the relaxation time, rent a motorbike if you can.
Pai is definitely for those wanting to escape life, many tourists who seem to have no thought for the people who actually live there.
The nature and nice view of northern part of Thailand that you can feel. It may not rich with culture like Chiengmai but you can enjoy and relax a lot here.
Pai is a very good place for leisure travelers. Good weather & nice scenery. Just 3 hrs from Chiangmai by car.
The ride to Pai from Chaingmai is fantastic! 762 curve, up and down the mountains. Once there, there is so much.
very quite if there is no big even, Lots of International Restaurant easy to travel around by motorcycle.
relaxing place, you can do nothing there but still not think that is wasting time, good place to stay.
Pai is more about relaxing & romance place. Attraction place like Pai Canyon, War II Memorial Bridge, Hot Spring,Wat Phra That Mae look around city view.
It's a nice mountain area good for sightseeing. The night market is nice, and the food is amazing. you can enjoy a Thai massage at a very low price.
we love the uphill and downhill, it is good to drive around and find our own spot explore the different from city
Pai is a town that use to be a very quiet place, a middle way to stop before travel to Mae Hong Sorn.
Pai ad been discovered, but retains, so far, its rural, simple atmosphere. Among the many hut-type eateries are some high class restaurants serving a variety of cuisines.
It's a small town for ppl to relax and enjoy the sceneries. Best to get around with a motorbike or a car.
Pai is a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, near the Myanmar border, about 50 miles/80 km north of Chiang Mai on the northern route to Mae Hong Son.
