Find Bungalows in Pai, Thailand

The owner of this guesthouse is a complete sweetheart, and the grounds the rooms are on are gorgeous and a complete surprise. The grounds are beautiful, and it's a hidden gem in the middle of Pai center. The room was a bit small, especially for two people, and it's very basic, but it was clean and sufficient, and there's a private outdoor porch so it really wasn't a huge deal. We initially booked for one night, not knowing what to expect, and stayed for 6 or 7 nights in total. Also had a lot to park our motorbike, coffees, teas, bananas and bread. Truly a lovely stay.

We stayed for a week ( Yes we got stick in the Pai-Hole) after re-booking two nights more, than two nights again.. 7 days later this is the best value for your money. We stayed in guesthouse #2 (private bathroom). There is a double bed and a fan along with three locking windows. The location was ideal for us (two 30's something Americans) because it is about a half mile out of the town's main bar street. Just far enough from the bass, yet close enough to walk back and forth two or three times a day without feeling too far. We enjoyed the community on the east side of the river hidden from the bar scene. There is a cheap place with a swimming pool named Fluid (80 baht) right around the corner, Close to the White Buddha, vegan cafe Earth Tone, as well as two locations close by to purchase "Happy off menu Products" at Backpacker's Paradise and Sunset Bar. The rooms are basic, as one would expect from a bungalow, the only con is that the bed was extremely squeeky with age-old spring rigging that made moving around a bit loud for my partner and probably folks in the next bungalow over. Thankfully our neighbors were quiet accept for the last two nights when some younger, louder folks decided to stay up and be loud/obnoxious. If you are looking to meet people, stay at Backpacker's Paradise. The hot water functions only at lower pressure, it is a 10 year old water heating element, so there's lower the pressure, the longer the water stays in the element and hotter it will become. Most people have it on full blast and complain that the water heater doesn't work, well, that's because the water isn't in the heater long enough.. a fine balance between pressure and temp and you'll figure it out. The host, Noi and his wife keep there facility super clean and live in their awesome private house. As a previous review suggests, it feels a bit looked living in a Smurf Village - which is true and awesome. Each bungalow has a covered hammock outside. They sell cheap beers, water,

The owners here were great,He would suggest everything you want. The house was clean,and all the animals here was friendly.The air was fresh ,this place was really cozy. At night there might be some little inserts. And All in all, Thanks for the owners, they are really nice people. I will recommend the nearest restaurant just located next to the guesthouse which covered by blue roof,the foods were cheap but really delicious! They were the best foods I had in Thailand.

It’s true that Pai is magical. You intend to stay for a couple of nights and end up staying longer but the staff here was a hugeee reason why we stayed, especially in the same place. Nathalie and Ta have been, by far, the absolute best hosts we’ve encountered. Cozy Pai felt like home away from home. We cooked over an open flame Ta helped us start. Nathalie is the most beautiful soul I have met in Thailand. When we return to Pai, we will definitely seek this place out first. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Thank you Ta and Nathalie. You guys are the best.

Booked our stay by accident. Thought it was closer to the center. I have never been more happy to have booked a place. Its a 10 min ride by scooter from Pai center. Located near the Mor Paeng Waterfalls. Excellent food, great location overlooking the mountains. The owner actually managed to organize some wine, flowers and a special meal for me and my girlfriend for Valentines day. I can really recommend it if you are looking for a place quiet and surrounded by nature. Many thanks Nadia :D

We arrived and walked up to orange grove which is only a 10 minutes easy walk and it was nice to get away from the busy main strip. The bungalows are set in a peaceful garden with lime, orange and banana trees. We booked the wrong dates, but luckily for us Carol had room and sorted us out. When arriving they do provide pick up when Carol's husband is Stroud. If you have suitcases just get a taxi up. The bungalow was comfortable with comfy beds and we didn't always need the fan on at night as its pretty cool. Don't worry about a/c as its not needed. Was really nice and quiet peaceful areas and you wake up to the sounds of the little creatures. Breakfast is provided which is good. Fluent English and Thai spoken. The host carol is lovely and helpful. I would definetely recommend staying here if you come to Pai. This price I think is very very good for what you get and compared to the others.
