Fantastic stay”
My favourite place I’ve stayed on my travels so far. I really did not enjoy the hussle and bustle of the centre of Pai, and this was a fantastic escape to the south of Pai. Restaurant is great, staff are lovely, beautiful quiet room with air conditioning. Really near the hot springs and canyon (20 min walk away). Mattress was soft (for Thai beds, medium if your from Europe). Fantastic place, I wish I could have stayed longer!

super comfy beds!”
This place is really cute and colorful, with a nice pool (wish we had time to swim in it!) and super comfy beds and pillows. Close to a major landmark, but you do need a vehicle to get to town. It was super quiet at night and we could see the stars so clearly.

Beautiful”
Stunning property. Cute little bungalows. Lovely staff. Quiet. Only issue was very bright. Light curtains and see through doors resulted in not much containment from sunlight so if you’re a light sleeper like me it can cause some issues.

Awesome place!”
Really cool setting in nature, far from town but it's nice and quiet out there. Would definitely recommend for the value of this resort. Very well maintained and lovely staff 🙏

Brilliant resort outside of town”
Great. Peaceful resort outside of town. Can do shuttle runs into town 3 times a day by arrangement although we only used the service one evening. Swimming pool. Some of the most comfortable beds we've stayed in. Very helpful staff. Decent breakfast.

To relax but far from the city”
You need to have a moto to move around. At night the road is dark its not safe to go to te city. But it's good to relax for one night. Don't have bar or restaurant at night. We took your food and ate close to the lake. I liked staying there.

Too many faults”
Bathroom was dirty and very odd, almost like it was unfinished! Can hear the other rooms very clearly as the bathrooms are open air. Was a lot of fun when our neighbours came in at 3am drunk… So many bugs get in the room and bathroom. Stairs to pool were broken which made it impossible for me to get in (as I have one recovering broken arm). Older lady on check in was not polite or helpful in any way. Location not great unless you have a car.

Fully Pleased!”
We stayed 3 nights at Bura Lumpai, and were so pleased with the rooms (two adjoining rooms), and the kind staff. It was especially quiet as our visit was during low season, which we enjoyed. Further, we had vehicle trouble coming from Chiang Mai to Pai and Bura Lumpai was flexible with our reservation - allowing us to add an extra night on the back end of our trip to make up for the night we missed. It was a pleasant stay, and we intend to stay here again in the future. :)

Helpfull and caring staff!”
During our stay at Bura Lumpai the staff truly helped us with everything. They offered us free rides in and back to Pai town and arranged a chauffeur to drive us to the lod cave and the canyon during the short stay we had in Pai. They made sure we got the best of the short time we had, by aways asking about our plans and offering us a ride there. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Away from city center, quiet and nice location”
When I stayed there early November, there weren't many guests and the swimming pool seemed to be not very well maintained (no smell of chlorine and there were leaves/insects in the water) though I did see a lady scooping things out with a net. Other than that, overall this resort is very nice. The room was nicely decorated, and bed was comfy. I especially like the half-open bathroom, where you can shower under the banana trees outside. There were some insects in the room but it was inevitable in such a setting. There is a lake outside and in each room, there is a balcony with a small table and chair. The water looked kind of muddy though so I didn't really sit outside. Because Bura Lumpai is quite a distance away from Pai city center, I went to the restaurant "Coffee Tea Sapan" (just outside on the main road) for dinner while I was staying there. I like the atmosphere of Coffee Tea Sapan but I had to retreat from it during dinner because there were too many mosquitoes at night (well, I am the type that really attracts mosquitoes so you guys might be all right). They also offered room service so the second night I ordered in the afternoon and told them to bring to my room at designated time. There is wifi in the restaurant but not in the room. The reception offered me a TOT wifi card but it didn't work in the room.

good hotel”
Bura Lumpai is a luxury resort in the alluring valley of Pai, Mae Hong Son Province, offering guests a rejuvenating experience infused with natural harmony I was very serpise about how to decorate the hotel as it unique but very nice and also impress in a breakfast that was nice.Bura Lumpai Resort is in a quiet romantic spot about 8kms outside Pai so transport is essential. Motorbike rental from Pai is easy. Hotel staff very pleasant

Adorable bungalows with breathtaking views.”
We went to the Bura Lumpai for 3days & ended up staying a week. The resort is situated on the banks of the river with breathtaking views of the Mountains & the air is so fresh & clear so we changed our Cottage to the ones with the open air bathrooms & they'res nothing lovelier than taking a shower looking up at the moon & stars.Do be Careful not to leave the light on so as not to attract too many bugs. We came in the car from Chiangmai & found it perfectly situated for sightseeing.Go right for the hotsprings & waterfalls & left to go into Pai or the Chinese village,Canyon....etc.... Its a family run resort & the staff were so lovely, they lent us bikes,DVDs,did our laundry & were great with tour information & children. The pool was in need of a bit of a tidy up but everthing else was in good condition. The rooms wre really cosy with a small balcony with seating on the edge of a small lake or large pond! We will definetely be going back!

outstanding place!!!”
we find the resort on Agoda and we book an extra offer, breakfast included. The resort is located just after the memorial bridge, on the Chiang Mai Road, so you just drive by when you come to Pai by minibus. you can ask you driver for a drop at the bridge!!!It’s only 8 km from the center, the hotel provide free shuttle every hour during the day until late (fees after 8pm). The STAFF is just FANTASTIC, very aware of your needs he set up EVERYTHING for us dring our stay, even the booking of the return tickets when we decide to leave PAI. We booked two Villa de Luxe, you can also book Villas and connected Villas if you want to share with friends or families. Most of the Villas are on a little lake, where a sick smog rise every morning, amazing view in the morning in a very quiet area!!!Beautiful and very swimming pool in the center of this lake, i just want to notice the lack of deck chair!! Open air bathroom well equipped rooms, breakfast is served from 7.30 until 11.00, you can also ask for a vegetarian one!! I highly recommended this place for your next stay in PAI!!!

Great resort with privacy and good cook”
The view is lovely, the location is just beside the Memorial bridge so it's hard to miss it. There are some street stalls opposite selling inexpensive local snacks and gifts. The resort is actually filled with guests( I only know when I See them during breakfast) however, you never really feel like its crowded. The swimming pool is a plus for young children to take a dip and the loan of DVD and DVD players is every room is great! The best thing about this resort is the cook and her fantastic cookings. A dinner may cost more than in pai city but it's worth it. I will definitely come back again!

Great location and warm welcome”
This hotel is a perfect selection for people who would like to escape from the city center. Only 9 Kilometers with 10 minutes drive can bring us to Pai Walking Street. We can see sun rising over the Historical bridge just few minutes walk from the hotels. We went just across the street for shopping sightseeing. The view is great. We can see Pai River from the restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast is served in a traditional Thai style (Pinto). We had much fun shopping and sightseeing there. The room is also nice and very clean. Staffs are wonderful with warm service.
