Bursari is a wonderful hotel to stay in Patong”

Excellent service and wonderful staff

We had a wonderful time here in Patong thanks to the staff of Burasari. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit Patong, Phuket. We actually booked two hotels in Phuket to see the different beaches but between Burasari and Sawasdee Village, Burasari won. The excellent services it provides, the wonderful staff, especially Oil our receptist was extremely accommodating. Burasari is a hotel that is centrally located, right next to Patong beach and very close to Bangla. It is very close to all the actions and yet a quiet oasis rest place to relax The best part of this whole experience is the fact that the staff made us feel very welcoming, they always have a great smile on their face when greeting the guests. Thank you Burasari for such a wonderful wonderful experience. We will definitely come back again. For those who needs a free airport transportation, you have to book it through their site to receive it. It cannot be a Agoda, Booking or any other affiliate sites. It cost 1,100 baht to go to the airport so roughly 35 dollars which is a reasonable price.

A great boutique hotel”

Perfect location, beautiful decor in the hotel, large room, comfortable beds, free minibar, free wifi internet, helpful staff, beautiful swimming pool
Hotel staff dont understand english well, front desk's response time to answer your phone call is on the higher side, mosquitoe problem if you leave the balcony gate open for long

Burasari is the perfect boutique hotel for a holiday if you are not very fussy about staying in a "Big" hotel. The look and feel of the hotel is great with a beautiful decor and very helpful staff. The hotel has two small but very pretty swimming pool with a pool bar and three restaurants to choose from. The buffet breakfast is nice with a decent spread. We tried the thai food at the Kantok restraunt, very average - there are better options for thai food in phuket, so you can give it a miss. However do try the floyds restaurants. Burasari has recently opened a juice bar next to the hotel lobby, the juice bar is a must try with great refreshing juices - try the detox juice. The rooms are very well appointed and very large, bathroom are also big. The rooms have large balcony with a day lounger to relax. However make sure that if you use the Balcony, dont keep the balcony doors open even for a minute, there is a severe mosquitoe problem (not just in Burasari, but most of phuket I guess). Each room is provided with a free minibar (two cans of beer, one can of iced tea, two cans of cola, two bottles of water, a packet of wafer chips and packet of cookies replenished every day) and free wifi internet, yes free. They also provide a beach bag with two beach towels which I think is a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. On the flip side, the dampener at Burasari is the fact that the hotel staff has very limited understanding of english, its a challenge at times to make them understand what your requirement is, although I am no way suggesting that the staff is not helpful. Another annoying aspect for me at Burasari was the fact that the front desk would take ages to answer your phone call. In fact most of the times they would not answer your call the first time and you would have to keep trying several times before somebody would answer your call. For the record, the renovation work at Burasari is over. All in all, a great place to stay while in phuket and would

Just Perfect - Couldn't ask for a better stay!”

Landscaped pools, large modern rooms, tasty breakfast, great location

Frequent repeat visitor to Phuket, I like to stay half the time in Patong to do my shopping and nightlife fix, and half the time in a beach location like Karon or Kata. Stayed in plenty of places in Patong previously, but now found a firm favourite that I will definitely come back to. Burasari is a smaller (but not that small!) hotel, just off the main Beach Road, next to the Marriott. The location is perfect - only 5 min walk to anything (shopping, dining, bars), but strategically tucked away so you don't get the loud racket of Bangla nightlife and main road traffic. Amazing grounds with landscaped pools (get a pool access room if you want to dive right in!!) and gardens, lovely design flow throughout the hotel. Great bar and restaurant, always plenty of choice for breakfast, nice quality cocktails and tasty Thai dishes. The rooms are large with huge balconies, the furniture is a bit dated, but not so to affect the functionality. Always well cleaned and fresh sheets every day. Had a free mini bar, stocked daily, which was a great little bonus, but the free things were only small cans of soft drinks and local beer - one of each (you'd usually have twin share in the room, so wouldn't you put a drink for each person??), not much on value, but a nice touch. Also had free Wi-Fi in room, but it kept logging you out, so you had to re-log every 30 min, plus they changed password daily, so you had to go and ask for a new password at the reception every morning, which was a bit of a pain. The service is adequate, but lacks a bit on efficiency and attention to detail (like most places in Thailand). The staff do their best to try to help you, but in most cases they have no idea who should be handling the matter (or complaint), so management really needs to look at the processes at reception and taking enquiries. Overall, Burasari delivers well and makes for a great pad for your Patong stay, with many pluses that will keep me coming back. Can't wait till next time!!

Burasari Resort Patong Beach Phuket Thailand”

Thai decor, lush gardens, friendly and helpful staff ( guest relations, housekeeping and engineering) , quite location, quality of refurbished rooms
street access sometimes blocked by parked cars, pool access room bathroom on small side could have separate shower ( for older travellers)

We have previously stayed at various resorts in Patong and this was our first stay at the Burasari Resort, We choose a Premier Pool Access Room and were delighted with the steps permitting direct access from our balcony. The Dara pool is surrounded by lush gardens which when illuminated at night gave a picturesque outlook from the room and the pathways . The Burasari is decorated with a Thai themewith the restaurant surrounded with water features. The two restaurants serve Thai meals at the Tara Terrace with a more comprehensivemenu at Floyds Brasserie. Although located towards the southern end of Patong Beach it is within a 10-15 walk or a 100 baht Tuk Tuk ride to Bangla Road or the Jung Ceylon shopping centre. Local markets and various restaurants are closeby. The local bus runs every 20 minutes to Central shopping centre or Phuket Town for a cost of 25 baht. The Burasari Resort with it various theme room styles is well worth considering for a holiday in Phuket .

Elite Pool Access Room

Pleasant stay with excellent service”

Spacious rooms, warm reception, wide variety of food for breakfast

After searching through numerous hotel on Agoda, we decided on Burasari as it seem to offer lovely rooms at an affordable price. We booked for the Elite Room with Pool Access and absolutely loved it! My parents loved that they did not need to walk far to get to the pool, as it's just right outide our balcony. The room is big and spacious too! The Elite Rooms all come furnished with one big bed instead of 2 small ones, so I had to share the bed with my friend, but it was still very comfortable as the bed is super big, I think king size or even bigger. Breakfast serves promptly at 0630, which is good for people who need to catch an early flight, which was the case for us. There is a wide variety of food served for breakfast, and the cooks at the egg and noodle stations are very efficient, which prevented a long queue from forming. Only downside would be the location as it's located at Patong, so travel time from the airport is about an hour, if you factor in traffic jam time. But one should expect that already if you choose to stay in Patong. The Patong beach is just 100m away, and around the hotel are rows and rows of shops. Quite a bustling area! Overall it has been a great stay and I would highy recommend this hotel for visitors of Phuket.

Great Interior and Ambiance.”

1. Interior design and ambiance. 2. Location. 3. Great offer and packages. 4. Service. 5. Food.
1. Bathtub are small, uncomfortable for big size person to take shower. 2. Mosquitoes, but its normal in tropical island though. 3. Breakfast selection. 4. Quite expensive for Asian tourist.

I've choosed Burasari because of its design and ambiance. Burasari doesn't look like a very typical hotel, after all it's a boutique hotel right. I love the hotel architecture and interior, truly shows uniqueness of Thai's. Love the lobby, small but very Thai's in design. Welcome drinks with quick check in n check out. Room is great, stayed at Elite Thai, love the deco with local handicraft n furniture some more managed to get pool view. Managed to get buy 3 nights free 1 nights offer. Room is big and still spacious even though we have extra bed, the other is queen size bed. Complimentary drinks and snack in fridge, 3 beach towels with rattan bag, bath robe n slippers. Love the huge day bed at balcony. Rooms cleaned everyday also they changed towels daily and refill the fridge. There's two pool, the smaller has a very nice design ambiance, the big one surrounded by greens. Breakfast is great but not much variety and room service is fast enough. Very very closed to the beach n 7Eleven just next to the hotel, next to 7E is Marriott Courtyard Hotel and Hard Rock Cafe. Holiday Inn just across the street. Night scene are quite closed-Bang-La Road, 10 minutes walk. **If I ever visit Phuket again, Burasari will definitely my 1st choice.**

Loved my stay at Burasari”

I stayed 2 nights at the beautiful Burasari Phuket. Despite an excellent location only metres from the beach and all the buzz of Patong, I didn't need to leave the resort for the length of my stay. It was surprisingly quiet at night too. I stayed in an Elite Pool Access room which was very comfortable, beautifully decorated with a private deck where I could chill out. Although my deck didn't get direct sun (others did), I didn't mind as I just used the pool area deck chairs when I wanted to catch the sun. These are limited at both pools however this didn't seem too much of an issue as the beach was so close. The staff were very friendly including at the pool bar which had a great atmosphere with good tunes and a lengthy happy hour! There was a slight musty smell each time I entered my room but this wasn't unbearable, I didn't notice it after a minute or two, and didn't effect my experience at all. The restaurant serves delicious food although cheaper options on the street, the breakfast buffet was also excellent and varied for all tastes. I would definitely stay again.

Best hotel which offers affordable suite room”

Booked Mood Suite for 1 night in Burasari Phuket. The staffs here speak good English and very helpful. The room is so cozy, spacious, clean and having a private jacuzzi in the balcony. The hotel swimming pool is also one of the coolest pool that I ever been. Breakfast was also very good. For location wise, this hotel is 1 - 2 mins walk to Patong Beach, 10mins walk to Bangla Road and Jungceylon Mall, which all the funs can be reached in walkable distance. Overall, this hotel is beyond my expectation. Would definitely stay here for couple more nights in my next visit in Phuket.

Burasari Bliss”

I have read many negative comments on Burasari and was rather apprehensive about going. My mind was put at ease when we arrived at 2 in the morning, to be whisked away to our room with ease. The staff are friendly and helpful, yes there is a language barrier, but you work around it! Burasari is fastidiously clean, with someone always picking up something. Security is top notch, with cameras everywhere. I would definitely return and stay at Burasari. A few warnings about Phuket: don't get sucked in and scratch a card given to you by some friendly Brit, it is for a timeshare presentation, and they only want to sell you one. Eat where it is busy, we ate at "The Orchids," side street next to Lai Mai restaurant. You are going to be harrassed to buy suits, etc. Be firm and keep walking. Book your taxi from the airport to hotel through the hotel. We didn't and had the trip from hell to Burasari, very scary indeed. Pay the extra and go in style, comfort and relative safety.

Boutique hotel with friendly staff.”

Delicious breakfast and a relaxing pool area.

apologies for my late review. i stayed at the burasari with my family in an elite thai room, overlooking the pool. this was the second time we have been there and enjoyed it just as much as the first. we love the convenience of the location as well as the ambience of the resort. the hotel is a short distance from patong beach, all the shopping including the otop market and far enough away from the noise of bangla road. there are many restaurants close by whether it's thai, italian or indian. the buffet breakfast at the resort is very delicious with many choices. my favourite is the omelette station where you can choose what ingredients can be cooked in your omelette. the burasari has beautiful tropical grounds with two main pool areas. for a snack, try one of the cart vendors nearby for a yummy banana and honey pancake. my only gripe for the resort is the showerhead in the bath is too low. the staff at the burasari are helpful and friendly. i hope one day i will be fortunate enough to return.

A Lovely Safe Haven from the Outside World”

Close enough to verything, yet far enough away from the mayhem

Let's face it...Phuket is a shock to the senses on lots of levels. The Burasari, was home for 9 nights..and behind the walls really was a sanctuary. Elite Poll Access was the way to go...and in our opinion, worth the $$$. Room was fine, free mini bar (which did get replaced daily!!, bed was huge, clean with a nice verandah, with a large day bed and our own pool access. The perfect spot to sit on the steps, in the water reading. There was plenty of shade, which suited us fine..but those sun worshippers out there, would be well advised to hit the beach. It is a lot of Hotel, on a concise site. The Staff were wonderful..led by the very amiable Boss Lucas, who was keen to meet his guests. Plenty of food choices at breakfast were plentiful, fresh and hot. Joy and the other ladies were keen to interact with us. The Spa..just pay the $$. The pampering was well worth it in lovely surroundings. Burasari Signature was awesome..whilst the bride can testify the value in Anti-stress back treatment was delightful...amongst others. Short walk from the beach, best Money Exchange at end of street (Outside Optometrists)and the Tour Guide (outside main entry to hotel) was great value, with nice car and spoke good english. Short 10 minute walk to Jung Ceylon. Pay the price and enjoy!!

burasari resort is excellent in terms of location and services. burasari is located near the patong beach just by 2 minutes walk. the nearby ocean plaza contains a food court with low price, a department store for shopping and also a supermarket for buying drinks ans chips. i stayed in burasari for celebrating wedding anniversary and birthday with my family, burasari provided a complimentary cake and honeymoon setting for us free of charge. the staff were nice and helpful. in conclusion burasari in a very good hotel with comparatively low price, i will stay in burasari again if possible.

Great location with huge and comfortable rooms”

Pleasant hotel service staff and huge comfortable room

Burasari Resort Phuket was a pleasant 4d3n stay for us. We love that the hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The Mood Collection room was huge and comfortable, probably one of the best hotel rooms i've stayed at before. The toilet was clean and spacious. Burasari Resort Phuket was also situated very near Patong beach, only about a min walk to the beach. Their buffet breakfast was also a wide spread and pretty sumptuous.

Burasari Resort - Great Value on the Beach”

This is a quiet, modern resort with a great pool and attentive staff.
The airconditioning in my room was weak, but otherwise resort was excellent value.

The Burasari resort was an excellent value for the price. Situated just off Patong Beach in Phuket, the hotel is a quiet refuge away from the noice and nightlife of central Patong Beach just a half a block away. Guests can select a swim out room with patios that open right into the pool. There is a restaurant and bar which serves excellent food and drinks. Staff were eager to please and exceptionally attentive to anything that the guests needed. I would hands down come back to this resort again.

The Burasari Hotel is the perfect location for your stay in Phuket, Patong beach. The hotel is situated perfectly were you are a 5 minute walk from the busy patong beach and the famous Bangla road but yet when you are in your hotel you feel that you have escaped it all. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast and their dinners are even better with great entertainment. A nice short break at Burasari”

Great location, with the beach on 50m away at the 'quieter' end of Patong. Very nice hotel layout, with a lovely restaurant and two good bars. Swimming pools were nice, with plenty of shade available. Excellent choice at breakfast.
Air-con in the room was a little too powerful for my liking.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Burasari. The hotel is situated at the 'quieter' end of Patong Beach (i.e. 20 minutes walk from Soi Bangla), with the beach itself only a minutes' walk across the road. There are 2 bars at the hotel, which are both good to have a drink or two in - the restaurant is also very nice, with fresh seafood from the grill at reasonable prices. Breakfast in the restaurant area also has an excellent number of choices and should suit even the fussiest of eaters..!? There are two pools at the hotel, both of which offer some welcome shade from the sun and provide a good opportnity to relax and unwind... All in all, the stay was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely be staying again the next time we are in Phuket.

Absolutely Delightful!”

Pool, Location, Friendly Staff, Ambience, Comfortable and Spacious Rooms, Cleanliness... everything!

Burasari is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy that I chose this as my last accommodation in Thailand. I honestly can not fault a single thing. The grounds were gorgeous - lots of plants and trees, as well as a handsome parrot that liked to whistle a lot. Food was delicious and the selection of breakfast was superb. Both pools were fantastic! The spa and massage rooms were very calming. The location was great - away from the noise of Bangla Rd but still close enough to walk, and Patong Beach just metres away. The hotel really is a hidden gem. I knew the hotel was undergoing some renovations upon booking, so I requested a refurbished Elite room which was just wonderful! It was super spacious, comfortable, clean and modern, with a hint of Thai touch. The bed was enormous! Staying in the room didn't feel like you were staying in a hotel as it had that "homely" feel to it. The amenities in the bathroom were great - loved the scent of the gels, lotions, etc. I also thoroughly enjoyed the pressure of the shower as well. The free mini bar every day was a great idea! Housekeeping did their job well every day. The ONLY thing I can slightly fault is the lack of sun lounges by the pool. But other than that, it was beautiful in many ways. Those considering staying in Patong, don't look past this hotel! It's a must. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Out of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Thailand - including Bangkok, Chiang Mai and another hotel in Patong - this was definitely the best one!

Lovely sanctuary and very friendly staff!”

Friendly staff, elegant traditional Thai decor

We stayed in Burasari for 4 days and then went to try another hotel for 3 days, but in the end decided to come back and stay in Burasari for another few days as it was that good! All staff are very friendly, there are smiles wherever you go! It's a perfect sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle of Patong. Perfectly located, close to the beach as well as Bangla rd, plenty of restaurants, convenient shops. We are definitely staying at Burasari again if we ever go back to Phuket!

Classy, beautiful hotel”

Staff were well trained, very friendly and helpful with any questions or requests that we had. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of items, including cook-to-order eggs. The rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable and each room had a huge new flat screen TV! The free mini-bar was great and we also appreciated the beach bag that we could just grab and take with us each day.
The location!

Even though the Burasari is on the very south end of Patong, it was still in a noisy, crowded neighborhood with vendors and hawkers pushing tours and souvenirs in your face the minute you walk out the door. Patong is a fine beach is you're a student on spring break or someone who wants to party non-stop. We loved the hotel but hated the area it was in. So we ended up paying $15 daily to take a taxi roundtrip to Karon Beach where it was much quieter, more relaxing, and the beach was lovely for swimming and sunbathing. If wanting just wanting to party or go out on excursions each day, then Patong and we would definitely recommend the Burasari. But if you're wanting any type of relaxation outside your hotel room, then we would recommend going somewhere other than Patong. Having the Burasari on any other beach would have been the perfect combination!
