Awesome boutique hotel”
Read many reviews that the Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel is exceptional. Gave it a try. Reviews are so true. I gave 5 stars to all the items - from value for money, to room cleanliness/spaciousness, friendly staffs, and good selections of breakfast food. Walking distance to Greenway Night Market, Asean Night Bazaar, and Central Festival Mall. Short Grab ride to Rim Rua Kratha Ron restaurant (for all-you-can-eat BBQ seafood). While in Hatyai, remember to try (i) Chok Dee Tae Dim Sum & Herbal Tea BBQ, (ii) Two-toned Milk Toast & Milk Tea Ice Cubes from The Containers Coffee House, and (iii) Tiramisu Sulbing Cheese Cake & Ttokpokki Pizza from Sulbing Korean Dessert. Will definitely stay in this hotel on my next trip to Hatyai. And will certainly recommend this hotel to my fellow travellers.
Good boutique hotel”
Clean room and the staffs speak good english. It's away from the Hatyai center, but you can easily get a tuk-tuk or taxi. You can also ask the hotel to get you a van or car if you're going to Danok, it only cost 800 baht for one whole van!! The breakfast is average, room is spacious and clean.
Short Hatyai Stay”
Clean and new hotel, walking distance to night market and Central Festival, THB20/p on tuk tuk to Lee Garden and surrounding.
Dear Way, Thank you for staying with us. We appreciated your feedback. Best Regards, Anchan Ms. Front Office Manager
Far from city centre”
Nice environment and friendly staff The hotel location actually is a bit far to city center, have to take Grab or tuk tuk otherwise is a very far walking distance.
Dear Vicky, Thank you for staying with us. We appreciated your feedback. Best Regards, Anchan Ms. Front Office Manager
Fantastic Hotel ”
I really don’t know how to complain about this Hotel, other than the breakfast could be better. But it’s thai style, I just wish that they would understand not everyone likes cold fried eggs and cremated bacon. Other than that the whole property was spotless inc the pool area which is very nice. The staff were great and nothing was to much trouble. Location is not great but 100baht Tuk Tuk gets you around. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Well done for all the staff.
Pleasant stay with a Lesson Learnt”
Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is good with a lot of choices as well. Nearby Asian and Greenway market. However, the housekeeping staff are not friendly enough and I learnt something for my stay here, remember to check everything (including the teaspoons) are intact in the room upon check in. We didn't check on it upon check in and didn't realise that the teaspoons were not provided as we didn't make any hot beverages during our stay. Upon check out, the front desk informed that the teaspoons are missing. We have no choice but to pay for it. Overall, other than the incident, we had a pleasant stay here.
Dear Chew, Thank you for your feedback and comment about the teaspoons are missing. We will bring up your comment to the concerned department for improvement. However, we are appreciated for your review that and looking forward to welcome you and deliver the better service to you again the future. Best Regards, Anchan Ms. Front Office Manager
Ok but slightly dated looking”
Overall ok but the environment of the room are slightly dated. Room and breakfast are mediocre.
Clean room ”
A bit far from bus terminal
A VERY disappointing experience. I travel a lot throughout Asia and normally stay in this same category of hotels, so I have plenty of other places to compare it with and my advice is : avoid this place, because : - Reception staff are polite but not friendly, and definitely not helpful. On arrival I asked for a thinner pillow and was told that the thick ones are 'the hotel's standard'. Sure enough I woke up with a stiff neck the next morning, so I asked the housekeeping lady directly, and guess what ? she found a thin pillow in 5 minutes. - the breakfast is a DISGRACE. Bad and lukewarm food, lousy coffee, bad service - or to be more accurate NO service - , sinister decoration and uncomfortable chairs. Overall feeling is that of a depressing school canteen. - this hotel obviously focuses on catering primarily to functions (weddings, seminars etc) which makes sense financially I'm sure, but it's done at the expense of solo travellers like myself, who are totally neglected.
Staff and cleanliness thumbs up”
The staff there was very polite and the front desk staff are very helpful also. If you lazy to walk and find a massage shop can ask the front desk to call a massage master to your room for Thai Massage service. The room cleaner staff also very helpful, the second morning I asked for a cleaning my room because we had kids so the room easy messy and dirty, they came very fast, cleaning and help us change all new bed sheet also towel with swap and clean our room floor within 10 minutes very fast but clean. Very comfortable hotel room and nice.
Could improve ”
We have originally booked for 2 adults and 1 child an Oriental suite. Room is nice and quite spacious for the price. However, there are few negative points that have tainted our experience. 1. Hotel is always busy with weddings/seminars and it seems like these guests show actually no respect to others, especially when it’s 2-3:00am and keep being noisy in corridors and public areas. We tried to call the night manager but nothing they could do. We couldn’t sleep during our 2 nights there. 2. Windows are not soundproof which turned the experience in nightmare as you can hear everything form the streets. Being a city hotel, they should have done something for it. 3. Pillows are totally uncomfortable and hard. I had a terrible neck pain following my 2 nights there. 4. Cheap details: as said, we booked for 2 adults and 1 child but had to ask for everything(additional towels, slippers, etc). This should have been arranged prior our check-in. They also charged us for an extra blanket.
Great stay, good location”
Arrived at 10am and was able to check-in early without any issues. Even when we were checking out and requested for late checkout, it was no problem. The reception is friendly and efficient in handling everything. The rooms were clean and the toilet was well kept. For the price, it really is a good deal. Asean Night Bazaar was just a 8 minute walk away and there were convenience store nearby. Nothing more you could hope for.
Hotel is walking distance to Greenway Night Market and Diana Complex for food&drinks. McD is further up Diana Complex. Muslim food available at the complex and in the market. If you take tuk tuk to Lee Garden etc per person is 20bath around Hatyai. Never pay more. They will usually ask for 30bath, give it a pass. There are lots of tuktuks. Hotel is non smoking. But you provide seating smoking area outside the hotel restaurant .
Good in everything ”
Hotel is clean and room design is nice. It's location is good although we need to get tuk Tuk or grab car to lee garden area but the ride is jz about 5 mins. We can actually avoid the crowded n really enjoy this hotel. Staffs are friendly n able to help n support especially Ms Anchan n her team. Well done n thanks for your help when we are facing some personal problems.
Great stay near Central Festival Mall ”
Value for money, the hotel is at its tip-top condition, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, concierge helped to carry bags to our room and great selections for breakfast. Walking distance to asean bazaar, central festival mall and hatyai bus terminal. The only con is that it is farther from Lee garden area, but we travelled using grab without hassle.
Second time still great”
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel although this time they cannot honor my early check-in as last time they can, the overall experience is great. Mr.A saw us having luggage, he immediate ran out to assist us. All the staff was very nice, I suggest that they should change the breakfast menu as it was the same from last year. I would highly recommend this place.
Helpful staff, nice location, good hotel”
Nice hotel. Spacious room. Very fast Staffs response. Location are good. But not in walking distance. You have to book tuktuk to go lee gardens and greenway night market. They will charge you 120 bht
Experience was awesome!”
Located just near the Night Bazaar Market and Central Festival Shopping Mall, the hotel is clean and provides us great hospitality. The hotel upgraded our room while we checked-in because I make further request for bath tub room and they try their best to satisfy my requirement, appreciated the effort and treats. The staffs were very helpful especially the house keeping team, they always make up our with perfect condition, overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend dis hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret, just be there:) IP Family
Friendly, clean place”
It's walking distance to the Asean night bazaar and it's near but not within walking distance to Central Festival. Room was clean and adequately equipped. Not luxurious but comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. A decent selection for breakfast but if there's a crowd, the staff would be short handed. There's plenty of parking but I have experienced difficulty when there's a local conference. It's not right in downtown Hatyai but it's easy enough to get a tuk tuk.
Hotel with great loaction”
Pros : great loaction. Its 5 mins walk to diana mall, greenway night Market, Asean night Market, theres 7/11 near by the neighbourhood as well. Very accessible via any vehicle. Pros: the hotel reception can get you a bike rental if u need one. I think its around 10 to 15 sgd per day. The security guards were nice. Staffs were helpful. Pros: clean rooms. And i got to check in at 11am right after i check in. Cons: hotel is quite old. And for the price you are paying, u can get a better hotel and newer one. The electricity keep going off and on. There were days that we can't even enter our room with the card given and need to go back to the counter and take a new card. Cons: breakfast buffet was not halal. Other then that, this is a decent but old hotel.
Dear Lina, Thank you for your feedback and comment about the hotel. We will bring up your comment to the concerned department for improvement. However, we are appreciated for your review that and looking forward to welcome you and deliver the better service to you again the future. Best Regards, Anchan Ms. Front Office Manager
