Impressive room and restaurant”
This unique hotel is very impressive. The location is near to the main train station. Room and bathroom are very nice and clean. The room size's quite small because it's divided into 2 parts bedroom and living room. Best breakfast I've ever had in a vaulted cellar. Food is mixed among western and Thai style. Service is very friendly and attentive.

Second stay here - even better than first.”
Location, apartment design, hotel condition/lcleanliness
Trouble free. Managed to check-in fine in local language with the member of staff accommodating my limitations. German not quite good enough to check-out so used English. One caveat is that with Agoda's amazing rates I always wonder whether hotel staff are inclined to give the same level of service as guests paying the top-rate. Check-out experience was not exactly 'freundlich' - efficient but a bit dismissive even allowing for cultural differences. Still I'd stay here again and Dusseldorf is definitely still my Lieblingstadt.

Great location, clean room and friendly staff”
Location, Comfort and Cleanliness
Very comfortable, highly recommended (but book early to avoid potentially higher prices - budget hotel it is not!) and great location. The wifi access is a little troublesome as you need the login codes from reception and the apartments are located 150 meters away from reception and the main hotel. The telephone system was not working. We requested an iron on the first night and and didn't receive it but finally got it the second night. If the telephone was working - or we were closer to reception, we could have easily called downstairs.

Nice boutique hotel in good location”
easy walk to everywhere and friendly staff
Found the hotel easily from Hbf and arrived at the hotel check in, since I have read comments about the Apartment so i have reserved the apartment room instead. The apartment is located 300m off the main hotel in a completely separate building and has no reception area. Also there is no lift from Ground to First floor so I was struggling to bring my 20kg luggage up to stairs. The apartment room was very nicely appointed, however as I was only there for 1 night and needed an area to store my luggage after check out I have requested to move back to the main hotel building. The receptionist was very helpful and understood my situation and assisted with the change. Hotel room is slightly smaller but very beautifully decorated as well. I had a pleasant stay and found it easy to walk around to almost everywhere! The only 'bad' point is that it has no free wifi but they can make arrangement for a day so not bad at all.

Convenient hotel close to main station”
Self-contained apartment; service staff very helpful; quiet and calm interiors;
the apartment building is even closer to the hauptbahnhof than the burns hotel. in common with many areas around city stations there was the usual noise at night. the decor/design was very good and consistent with images on the hotel's website.

Nice appartments with no air conditioning”
Location - right next to main train station
We've stayed at one of the appartments for 3 days. I do not get the point why they are called "Art" hotels. Just some pics hanging on the walls, nothing special. The appartment itself was average. All clean, coffee machine, TV, no wireless but analogue internet connection(!). Some major negative points were the lack of an air conditioner, although we've been there in April and it was still ok, it must be unbearable in summer. Also the 2 single beds were very inconvenient. Breakfast costs 14 Euros in the meantime p.P. which is also quite expensive.
