The room is small but clean. Never tried the hotel restaurant but there are plenty outside. The famous fish market (Jagalchi Market), Yongdusan park, and BIFF are all walking distance. There's also a big Lotte deparment store close by. You can take the subway to go to Haeundae Beach. There's a Seven Eleven in the lobby which is very convenient. Check in/out was no issue. The only drawback is you have to pay for the internet wifi in the room and no swimming pool.
Great Location with free airport transfer”
the hotel is the best place to stay if you are travelling to korea for the first time and arriving late in korea as you can call for a free airport pickup at anytime. there are plenty food around the hotel and there are a lot of convenience store around the hotel. you just need to ask the staff at the counter.
Use Another Hotel”
Angola bookings are given the worst cheapest rooms. Rooms allocated are NOTHING like the booking pictures provided by Agoda web site. Rooms allocated are NOTHING like the description provide by Agoda web site. Beds are like sleeping on the floor. Really hard causing significant discomfort when sleeping. Air-conditioning is fixed by the hotel and set very high to reduce running costs. (Verified: There is NO government criteria for temperature control in the room). Staff are very unfriendly unless you are Chinese or Japanese. Hotel caters for Chinese and Japanese only. Other country personnel are NOT welcome. Highly recommend staying at other hotels nearby. Best move I did.
do not stay ~ ”
summary do not book this hotel the staff were not friendly, in fact we have never felt so unwelcome. the room shown on the agoda web-booking page is nothing like the room we were assigned. the room was tiny even for korean standards. the bed was concrete hard. i have slept on a korean style floor bed that was far better. the pillows were so large my partner and i both have neck problems. my partner rolled up a towel to sleep on. the hotel would not offer alternative pillows. in the past i have stayed at this hotel, paid the similar price and had the room advertised and the staff were friendly, the room was nothing like the one we were placed.
booked and received the worst room”
yes we booked our room well in advance with no refund agreement we booked no smoking double room. we were put in a smoking room that (being polite) stunk. the room should have been a single but they have a double bed in it. the tv was one of the first ever released color tv’s and most of the channels failed to work or provide sound. at request for a no smoking room, we were informed there are no no-smoking available even though we booked well in advance and no refund agreement. due to the amount of traveling we were tied we stayed the night. it was not until we tried to book another hotel and expressed significant disappointment were we moved to another no smoking room the next day. the room was hot as the air-conditioning is limited to 25 degrees and the fan limited. recorded on my clock. we slept under a sheet. over all. do not take your girlfriend unless you wish to change partners. the location is great. not a hotel for couples.
Comfortable and enjoyable stay”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us an upgrade to accomodate our baby which was very much. It seems to be a popular hotel for Japanese people for some reason and the staff speaks good Japanese as well as English. The location next to Nampodong is good for tourists who want to eat and shop. Also close to Jagalchi Market another tourist spot. So all in all a great Tourist Hotel and appropriately named. The hotel is a little older than the modern hotels, so dont expect something ultra modern and new. However, this aspect doesn't bother me and I actually like older hotels in which the window can be opened to get fresh air rather the air conditioner only.
Old but standard hotel with a good quality”
This hotel is a well priced hotel in the center of every tourist attraction in Busan. The interior looks much like what you would expect from a room on board the Ticanic, something we found fascinating and charming rather than bad. We used the room comfortable as a place to sleep, with good beds, and a fully functional bathroom (in European standards). It does, however, not sport a 50" TV or blue neon lights, and no WiFi in the room. Free WiFi can be found in the lobby. We would recommend this hotel. And again, the location of this hotel is really great, and worth considering even only for this point.
The hotel is quite close to the Metro. Walking distance about 5 min. However the hotel room looks old but clean. For a short stay I would recommend it. At night, a walk from Metro to the hotel is quiet and isolated. The hotel breakfast seems unpopular, the whole restaurant was empty during my stay.
Pleasant hotel near major sites of interest”
this was my second overnight trip to busan and second stay in the hotel. the room was clean and a nice size for two people. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very modern (hi tech toilet).every room is a smoking room, so don't ask for a alternative. the hotel doesn't have a lot of character despite its bright yellow exterior, but it makes up for it with its location. it's an easy walk to busan tower, the jagalchi fish market and the lotte department store. we arrived in busan by train and took a taxi part of the way to the hotel. the driver was unfamiliar with the hotel (hard to believe), couldn't follow a map provided to him (couldn't see well enough), could read the address (also provided) but didn't know where it was and asked us if we had a phone. when i saw the lotte department store, i asked him to let us out and we found the hotel ourselves. note to agoda: please print the map card the hotel provides so it can be shown to the driver. it's not much help to get the card once you've found your way to the hotel.
tired hotel in a lively location”
Very little english spoken anywhere in the hotel, also no english tourist maps etc in the lobby. hotel appears to be geared to domestic tourism. no iron/ironing board in the rooms. When I asked for one to iron my own shirts, they took them away to be ironed & charged me for the privilege. The room was a good size, the (paid) internet was fast. Quiet at night - so had a good sleep - but the room smelled of smoke, and the carpet was pretty grungy.
Old and difficult to locate aka Busan Hotel”
The room was old and in need of maintenance and upgrading. The carpet was not laid properly and noticeably worn. No free internet though LAN cable was ready at the desk. Not likely to stay there again.
Average Business Hotel with Giant SIze Lobby”
I forgot to ask for a non-smoking floor. If you are a non-smoker, note that cigarette smoke will get into your room from the adjacent rooms. I am not sure if the hotel has a non-smoking floor. Furniture in the room has a dated design with black colour toggle switches. Small bathroom with tub. Bed has a soft mattress. The room is strangely enough equipped with a fire escape device. It is a 9m long rope which can be hooked to some hooks inside the room. The hooks are made from thin soft metal. Don't even consider using this flimsy device if there is a real fire. There is a convenience store inside the hotel. Internet is using standard cable (provided) costing Won 900 for 24 hours. Reception : Dour guys manning the reception. Never once smiled. The woman was OK.
Small rooms, very kind of hotel staff”
Location is quite good, we can take Airport Limo from airport, but we can stop in front of this hotel, however the bus stop at main street, and it just take 3-5 minutes walk to this hotel. This hotel also near to subway (Nampo Station), also near to Lotte Department Store, where we can shop many things, for cheaper goods we can shop at Busan Underground Shopping Mall which also very near to this hotel, just walking to the direction to Busan Station or by subway just 1 stop
Very comfortable hotel in great location”
The hotel is handily placed near Busan train station, the fish market, the ferry terminal and shopping areas. Checking in and out was quick and fuss-free, and the staff were able to give good advice on seeing the city. The rooms have great cable tv and comfortable beds, but the internet was not free- 9000 won per day. Overall a great place to stay, convenient, easy and friendly staff.
A Smokey Friend”
The hotel staff and services were really nice, and you're close to a neat area with a lot to eat and explore. The hotel is also smartly located near a subway line so moving about the city is not a hassle at all. The fact that you could smoke there was a huge turn off though-- as soon as you exited the elevator into your hallway you could instantly smell the smoke. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.
Busan Fun Days”
There are two things, one is the hotel should re-model so the room appear better. There are one thing that staff told us that you need to upgrade to go to a non-smoking room, that was ridiculous, we told them we request a non-smoking room, later they send us to another side of the hotel (different elevator).
Decent hotel, nice location”
The hotel was okay. It looks like it hasn't been refurbished since the 1980s. The staff was helpful. The hotel is a couple block away from Busan Tower, 40 steps, and the subway. It's a step above love motels, but it wasn't the best value hotel.
