Given the price and location, great value ”
Very close to everything and nice view of Coron Waters. Room are ok, shared bathroom but what do you expect for like $7 a night
Great value for the money”
The room was clean and neat upon check in. The bed was comfy and clean. Only downside was no pool (but for the price it’s fair) and the blanket was a little thin and no towels/soap are not provided but can be easily bought in the stores nearby.
A budget choice with 5 star location”
Cheap option for backpacker who loves to do nothing to have a great view. The restaurant and deck view is great in the morning, and wonderful when sunset. Layback in a hammock or a seat, have coffee and you can spend your day here. The room (the cheapest ones) is basic, clean really clean, large, and cheap. The downside are the bathrooms, it's clean but could use some improvement like cleaning hose or a bucket for those who prefer to wash with water rather than tissue rolls. And some more clothes hanger can be useful too. Overall i love stay here. 10 mins walking to the market, terminal, 20 pesos tricycle ride to pier, near all the stores and restaurants, great dive centre, wish i could stay longer.
Excellent location, 5 minutes before the port. It's very convenient. Restaurant Good, few people, delicious, inexpensive. Free water and coffee. The rooms are large and clean. Minus one: bass. In the evening they include music on the first floor in the bar and it's impossible to sleep !!!! people are shooting strongly and your bed vibrates due to bass.
Nice place to stay”
I cant complain about the hotel and its amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. You get the value for the money you pay. Only downside is the small road going to the hotel because it stinks. I know it is not the hotel’s fault and they do not have any control over it - but the stench does affect the overall experience
Accommodating staff ”
We asked for toilet paper & extra towels & got it right away. Not very clean room though, maybe that's why they sprayed insecticide before we went in. Spartan accommodation but excellent location. Surrounding not too pleasing in getting here though. But restaurant view & breeze is worth it. Reasonable priced food too.
Great place if you intend to go Scuba diving or have that quiet drink in the bar”
I have stayed here on multiple occasions, generally I am there for Scuba diving an stay there for the convenience. But if you are going to stay at Seadive make sure you get a room in level 3 has they are better than 2nd level
They dont care about you”
We got a room in front of the diving workingshop. This means people making a lot of noise starting at 07:00 in front of our room. After they put jugs of benzine under our window (that cant be closed) our whole room was smelling at benzine. Verry unhealthy. After telling the lady from the reception it was not possible to sleep for us in this room they basicly put us out on the street. No help for another room nothing.. "We are full so you need to go" was the message. Verry bad service!
Good location but not great smells”
This place was close to everything but does not have great smells. Since Coron is a fishing village, the water is not very clean and Busuanga Sea Dive sits right in an area where there is stagnant water. Wafts of stale water throughout the night. We didn't really eat in the restaurant. It is very quiet at night even though the view out in to the sea is very beautiful. Perfect sunset viewing from the 5th floor.
Overall a Great and comfortable stay”
I just got back from Coron and I had a great time! Coron is awesome! but I just want to share my experience with Seadive Resort. *Sharing is caring* Long story short: It's definitely worth the price and I think double checking with reception is a lesson learned. I suggest you do it too. *Now my Story* March 21: I arrived in Coron. I checked in at almost 5pm and my room is not yet ready after going around to two rooms. I don't know why. It's a short walk. Good thing I only have a backpack. When Miss A of reception told me my room is ready (after 30 mins), she gave me the keys and as I entered my room I saw Pic #1. Of course, I went back to reception and asked her for a full bed. I paid for it of course I want it. Then, I asked for some tour flyers, booked myself a Calauit Safari Tour worth 2500 pesos at Seadive Resort (Miss A) via Happy Life Travel Agency. The packaged tour should bring me to two key destinations: Calauit Safari and Pass Island. March 23: I went on the tour covering Calauit Safari, Busuanga Municipality and some church. We started the tour at 9am and at 2.30pm, I'm already back at Seadive Resort. I thought to myself why did the tour finished so fast? Didn't bother asking the van driver/tour guide why, it's too hot and I am so tired. March 24: I went and asked reception, Miss A was away so I was speaking to Miss J of Seadive Resort. I asked her why is my Safari tour so brief, we did not go to Pass island. Miss J said I needed to talk Miss A because she is the one who booked it. She tried calling Miss A on her mobile but no response. Miss J called Happy Life travel agency and they confirmed I was not booked for a Safari Tour. J and I are confused as to which travel agency Miss A booked me. I asked J if she can check the call logs in seadive's mobile and trace the call she had at 7.30am (the agency called the resort to advice me that they will be late 😒). J found the number and confirmed with K Tours Travel Agency that I was indeed booked the
Location great but not worth the money”
We only stayed one night and pretty glad we didn’t stay longer as the locstion was great, in centre of town, the room was unfortunately not. The shower if given a score out of ten, we would say 2. It was cold, not powerful enough to even shower in it and overal the bathroom wasn’t very clean. They do have airco but it is weak so the room stays quite warm. We had to ask for towels as we had not received them. Staff was friendly but not very engaged or interested in their guests. It was fine for one night but would not go again.
Dirty and disgusting, both showers didn't work, one toilet was broken, bathroom/hallway dirty”
The bathrooms and hallway had garbage and beer bottles in the hallway and looked like they haven't been cleaned in months.. both showers didn't work, one toilet was broken.. no WIFI.. the room was super clean though.. but lack of shower and such a dirty place.. only stayed one night.. stay somewhere else..
You get what u pay for”
+ kind front desk personnel, good location - low water pressure, hot water worked on the 1st day only. stayed there for 6 days but they did not clean the room until we requsted. Cleaned once only in 6 days. Requested a non-smoking room but smoke gets into our room.. housekeeping staff needs training though they were nice.
Convenient location and value for money! :) ”
The location of this property is very easy to find and the good thing is the size of the bed. We had a fan room and the bed was so big which made me so happy during my stay. For the bathroom, I think it needs some improvement especially the shower. The staff are very kind and accommodating! They helped us when we asked so many questions. They even allowed us to enter the room even it was still too early to check in. The place is good to those who want to enjoy the sunset as well. They have balconies and roof deck to watch the beautiful ocean and boats sailing near the area. Plus they have complimentary coffee for the guests. I will go back to this place when I visit Coron again. Highly recommended! Thank you Sea Dive!
affordable place at the heart of Coron town proper”
The place is affordable and conveniently located near the Coron town proper. It is near the market, restaurants, docking area for island hopping, etc.. They also have an open area/sun deck where guest can hang out. The disadvantage is it is located on a swampy area and there is a foul smell when you walk from the street to the hotel. Also, we experienced water service interruption; we waited for 3 hours before we can wash ourselves from our island hopping.
Very good location”
Excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Romney was very spacious. Showering facilities were slightly broken - little to no hit water in our room. However staff happily allowed us use an empty room for shower when we informed them of this.
The room is very old and bamboo style. The aircon is weak. The room isn't the nicest but big and good for me to dry my scuba gear after dives. I was diving at the shop so it was the most convenient place to stay but wouldn't stay again. Would like to have something nicer. They also didn't tell me I'd get discount for the room because I was diving with them as well and lost out. There also isn't any WiFi in the room and only in the reception but even there it's weak and hard to connect. There was a power outage in the morning one of the days and had no power or water.
Basic and old. Great staff”
Booked a fan room and price is good. Room has 2 windows, one can view Public Market signage. Very nice sea view around hotel.
We only stayed for one night but we had a pleasant stay. Great location. Only having a fan made it a little uncomfortable rather than a/c but it was manageable and of course it’s what we booked. Perfect for what we needed for one night.
Lovely resort - but our room looked nothing like the photo online.”
We booked a deluxe aircon room - but it looked nothing like the picture, when I complained to staff they reassured me that I was in the correct room - and by this point we had travelled so far around asia that we had become accustomed to knowing when it was not worth pressing matters further - food was lovely and they were very accommodating otherwise!
