Central location with quirks
Near causeway bay MTR, wireless internet, walking distance to sights
Butterfly on Morrison is a centrally located hotel in the area of Causeway Bay. Modern decor, clean rooms and free wireless made it a great choice for a business traveller like myself. However, the room layout is a bit awkward and was tight even for one person. MTR is close by and the fabulous shopping areas like Times Square and Sogo are a just a quick walk away. A small fridge made it convenient to bring your own snacks. Note: access is difficult for cabs to drop one off at the hotel. There is no stopping at the front and one needs to be dropped off about a 1/2 block away. Reception area on the third floor should stop using a horrible sick, sweet air freshner. Smell permeates everything.

highly efficient use of every inch
location, room
We presume that a yachtbuilder has been involved in the interior design. Every inch has been used, giving the idea that yet the room is spacious. The entrance is a bit unsympathetic and since there are 4 rooms per floor (25 floors), the elevator tends to arive slowly, but once in, we loved the comfort and the sight. Free internet. Definitely a better place to stay than the shabby Soutrh Island Hotel, 100m down the road.

Rather overpriced for a boutique hotel
Internet wifi connection
Room was of decent size, but bed is just of queen size. Bathroom is not very well maintained. Maybe i was unlucky as it emit sewage smell at times. Was too lazy to change room since it's only for 3 days.

Botique hotel
Modern design, free wifi
Stayed 3 nights. Not much dining and shopping around the hotel so we had to go to Times Square and onwards to the Sogo area.

Too Many Issues - Will Never Return
Not much at all!
It's boutique - not it's just plain small! I think our 03 room (4 types of rooms on each floor but the 03 room is the most confined arrangement) was just not really big enough to accommodate 1 person let alone two people! It had wireless internet but the kind that you need to log in with user name and password all the time so it's not as convenient as it might be but apart from the wi fi the hotel didn't have much going for it all. Here's my laundry list of issues: room was not well maintained (in fact downright dirty in bathroom and entrance tiles that left feet black when walking on them); stupid furniture in the room that was a hazard (a white chair with steel legs which stuck out and given there was no space in the room you'd keep hitting yourself on the chair legs) and a desk that was way too small to be useful; no space next to one side of the bed - it was literally jammed up against a window so no space to put a glass of water or a phone etc; and no place to have breakfast at the hotel. The location wasn't great either - not the best part of Hong Kong and not even a decent coffee shop close-by. Also the hotel is in a non-stopping zone so when you arrive, you get dropped off on a corner at the end of the street and you need to walk up to the hotel and so if you have much luggage, it's quite inconvenient. Also if you need to take a taxi you need to walk down to the same corner - so not ideal when it's raining! I've stayed at lots of boutique hotels in Hong Kong before and there are much much better options than this one! We will not be going back to Butterfly on Morrison - that's for sure!

convenient location
Free wifi, hotel overall was clean and decor was nice
Hotel is conveniently located near causeway bay mtr. Rooms were of a good size by Hong Kong standards, and with nice decor. We had a high floor which gave us a nice view of the city from our room. Service staff were friendly.

Wonderful service and stay
very friendly customer service
went there in september 2011, the hotel location is not really strategic where it is located almost at the end of the road. even though the building structural is small, but the room is very clean and quite big room. the receptionist can speak english very good, and really helpful in giving out directions of places. it is surely recommended
