While this is not the fanciest hotel, it is certainly adequate. There is a decent breakfast with a cappuccino maker. The staff makes sure that food is regularly replaced and tables are clean. It is a small area, but we did not have trouble finding a seat. The rooms are small, but the location is absolutely perfect. There are tons of shops and restaurants all around. The hotel itself is just off Nevsky Prospekt which is the main boulevard through the city. One thing to be aware of - there is no elevator. If you have luggage, you will be dragging it by yourself. You have to enter through a gateway that is not really well marked right on the Moika River. You walk through a courtyard to get to the entry to the hotel. The price is definitely right. We were very happy - we didn't spend much time in the room anyway ... just to sleep.

I am grateful to have booked to this hotel as it was nearly perfect. From the breakfast, value for money and staff. i would book to this hotel the next time i will visit st. petes. the rooms are small but you will just sleep for the night and you will be outside as always anyway. This is highly recommended its near almost everywhere!

Pros: location is awesome. Close to River Neva and many other main attractions. On the Nesky Prospekt so lots of dining and shopping opportunities. Breakfast is included. Free coffee & tea 24/7 too. Cons: for the price I paid, I didn’t expect to get this room condition & size. It is old and was a tiny closet of a room. No aircon and no fan in the room so you’re only depending on the small window opening. No sign of heater in case it gets really cold either! No view of the river although we were next to it. Don’t be fooled by the hotel name “By The Hermitage”! It sounds exclusive , I was expecting exclusive but it’s not. I would’ve paid the SGD50-70 per night range for the room, not SGD130+ which I did.

old building so it smells a bit. no elevator i have to move my luggage by myself to 3rd floor. the location was great. it’s close to hermitage museum. only 5 mins to work there.

The location is excellent, nearby good restaurants, tourist spots and metro. The only drawback is that you need to carry your luggage to your room as there are no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast is basic and good, the hotel is sufficiently clean and has all the things I need.

Tolle Lage im Herzen der historischen Stadt am Newski Prospekt, wirklich nur 2-3 Gehminuten von der Eremitage entfernt. Freundliches Personal, alles Notwendige im Zimmer. Viele bequem bedienbare Steckdosen, alle Sanitäranlagen funktionieren gut. Preise außerhalb der Hochsaison sehr günstig. Kann aufs Wärmste empfehlen.
