Great choice for family!”
If you want a nice location in Macau Peninsula, this could be an option. It has a nice city view. We booked Exec room and it has its own washing machine, induction cooker and a microwave. It has good restaurants around and just near bus stop.

Best location ”
We are couple Travelers ... Macau as being change a lot but Ascott location was great..but the staff should more friendly towards checking in time they strictly follow all by book so we manage to get the room at 3pm only ... plus bfast not that much choice then we enjoyed too ... so no regrets on tis property pls go ahead and book cheers

Nice service apartment”
Very nice staff and service. Enjoyed the setting, feels like home. Location is also good, not far from the city centre. Lots of little local restaurants. As we are traveling with our little daughter, the nearby parks and science museum are big plus. The only drawback is the breakfast. Some food supposed to be warm but it wasn't. Choices are also limited. Please consider adding more variety.

Best hotel in Macau!”
I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

Bad smell from air conditioning vent”
Cooking smell and stinky smell come from air conditioning vent at midnight and in the early morning respectively. Tried to turn off the air con but it couldn’t stop the smell spreading around the whole apartment.

Good for stay with kids”
Hotel in convenience location close to MGM and Wynn (walk within 10 mins), I stay in executive suite, Hotel not crowded and quiet due to hotel didn't have casino. Room. large rooms (bedroom after placed baby crib still have lots space) and great showers. Also breakfast is included and it had a little bit of everything.

Excellent Quiet Hotel”
Since the hotel does not have a casino, its less busy than other Macau hotels, which was what we loved about this place. There is not much in the immediate vicinity of the building, but its just across the street from the MGM & Wynn Macau. The reception and house-keeping staff were kind and helpful. The room was tastefully furnished. We had the noble suite with separate living and bed room, the size was great, bathroom was huge with both tub and shower, and we were very comfortable. The breakfast was included, although not a big variety was offered, but it was adequate. Overall, it was a very pleasant overnight stay.

Spacious & comfortable room”
The executive room is very spacious & comfortable. However, the cable tv was not functioning well as most of the channel cannot be seen due to satelite issue. Surprise to see that there is nescafe coffee machine in the room. Good job! The breakfast is not much choices, some room to improve.

I love Ascot Hotels”
Ascot is really my hotel of choice. However in this particular hotel, the front desk staff were less friendly. The one who checked us in failed in my customer service standard but the lady who checked us out was wonderful. Breakfast is expensive but quite good.

Good in general”
Tje room was spacious and nice but only one thing I cannot stand, the smell. All the lifts had a terrible saliva smell and the drainage smell from the bathroom was horrible too. Every time I take the lift, I had to stop breathing for 5-10 seconds. If you can not too sensitive with smell, this is a good place that you can consider.

Check in/out is a bit wobbly as they are not really a "hotel" and more of a long term guest property, but it worth a stay! Right near MGM, Wynn, etc. Would stay again for sure, especially if you are staying long term.

Good stay and surrounded by great hotels”
Stayed 1N at the hotel. We utilized the free shuttle to MGM which is located next door. Going back we utilized the shuttle from Wynn hotel which is slightly farther. The hotel is good and comfortable. The facilities is very nice down to the pool area. Mcdonalds is next door technically and then 7-11 around 5 minutes walk outside. The concierge was very helpful to tell us the routes available. We found it difficult to leave early due to the nice room. Great stay!

Fantastic room, confusing service”
I love finding hotels in Macau that don't have casinos in them, and this is a great example. It's not totally immune, being opposite the MGM and close to other gambling dens, but this makes it a location close to other restaurants and shopping as well. My room was large, a single bedroom suite with a great bathroom allowing a bath (and shower) with a view. Most things about this hotel are great which is why it is difficult to have to criticise one important function: Room Service. It's not room service but a food delivery service, provided by non-aligned restaurants, which the hotel doesn't make clear. This led to the awkward circumstance of me, in my hotel-provided robe being harassed in my room for cash (which I didn't have) to pay for my breakfast which was getting cold during the unnecessary exchange with TWO staff. It was an unseemly and unnecessary low point. The hotel should arrange a cross-charge with the restaurant to make the guest experience seamless and avoid experiences like mine.

We are so impressed by the neat, clean and cosy environment. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. Their services are perfect and sincere. We enjoy our time especially at both the indoor and outdoor pools. Sauna is also provided.Such a happy and relaxing time staying here.

I immediately loved the scent of the hotel when I walked in. The check-in process was easy. The room is more like a serviced apartement so it has a complete kitchen set with electric stove, microwave, even a washing machine. The room was cozy and room size was relatively moderate. Breakfast buffet was not that disappointing. The variety was pretty standard (cereals, hot & cold salads, toasts, breads, bacon, sausage, porridge, fruits, etc.) but the taste was good. To get there from ferry terminal was easy. Just hop on MGM or Wynn free shuttle bus. To go back to ferry terminal was kinda tricky because now big hotels set restrictions and prompt travellers to show proof either you stay in their hotels, dine in their restaurants or play in their casinos to be able to ride on their shuttle buses to ferry terminal. From Ascott to Senado Square takes about 20 minutes on foot. It depends on your walking pace though :) Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay at Ascott Macau and would love to stay there again if I return.

Ascott is a brand new hotel in Macau. Location is good but no provide shuttle bus services so need to go to Wynn or MGM to get a shuttle bus. The decoration of the room is nice and clean. We have a comfortable stay here.

Very Modern, Clean and New”
We were upgraded to Noble Suite and gave us free use of cot for our one year old baby :) KITCHEN Feels very modern, with complete kitchen appliances (stove and microwave oven), but no pots/pans to use. Took some time for me to figure out how to use the coffee dispenser (Nescafe Dolce Vita). Would prefer that they provide an option for standard coffee maker, since we brought ground coffee beans with us. We love our coffee that much! BATHROOM Big bath room, big bath tub with TV. Shampoo, shower gels, lotion are from L'Occitane so that was such a nice bonus! ROOM Big bed with clean, white sheets, but bit hard on the back. Not so very nice view, another building was blocking our view. Lighting system was quite impressive. LOCATION Near a McDonald's, a grocery store and the Macau Tower; would love it if they provide free transportation to Cotai or the Senado Square. STAFF At the reception, 1 out of 2 staff can speak english, so that's okay but sometimes you need to wait.

This hotel is great for family with kids or those who want to avoid crowds as there is no casino in the hotel. Location is ok, near Wynn and MGM, beside the hotel there is also a 24hr McDonald's. The room is great, we got a free upgrade from noble suite to executive suite. The check-in and out is fuss free. FYI, a deposit of HKD$500 is needed (Stayed for a night). Setback is there is no shuttle bus provided but you can simply take the shuttle provided by MGM/Wynn.

Disappointing ”
I already stayed a few times in Ascott suites and my last stay was quite disappointing. When I made the reservation I mentioned that my arrival time will be between 14:00 and 15:00. On that day, December 16th last, I arrived at the Hotel at 14:25 did the check-in and was informed by the receptionist that my room will only be available at 16:00. It is unbelievable why your check-out time is at 12:00 and the rooms cannot be ready the latest at 15:00. In such case, many other hotels do provide a voucher for a complimentary drink at the coffee shop for the guest, while they wait for the room. Your hotel did not bother about this, your staff just keep on saying that they already told the house keeping to rush things. After several complaints from me, without any better result, they gave me the room at 15:55. Besides this, as I already pointed out in my last review, your breakfast is poor compare to other 4 or 5 stars hotels.

amazing hotel, wrong side of Macau”
It was the first time in Macau for my husband and I, we are a young couple so I felt like we stayed in the wrong side of Macau, Taipa. We were after location for food and shopping but felt Cotai would of been more appropriate. Having said that, the hotel was amazing, we got a free upgrade and our room was definitely 5star which we probably wouldn't have got for the price in Cotai. The room had all the amenities that you would want to stay in there the whole day. kitchen with washing machine/dryer, 3 TVs (one in front of the bathtub) and nice views. With all the hotel busses being free and so frequent, we spent the day in Cotai and then came back to hotel at night which wasn't so bad.

Overall the stay was pleasant. Room very spacious, coffee machine in kitchenette and 2 big TV’s and even another one in the bath. Our room was on highest 7th floor, but views on housing estate. Shower was strong, after 10 secs it went into a trickle, then the same cycle happened during the entire shower. Quite annoying. Indoor pool water was only around 21-22, too cold to enjoy a relaxed swim. Breakfast was included and although not of the highest standard, it was OK.

Everything are so good ”
I’m a breastfeed mom and need to travel with breast milk. The staff of the hotel are so kind and helpful to allow me to check in hotel early where they know I need to keep the breast milk in the hotel freezer to make the breast milk are in good condition . I’m amaze with their kindness n help ! Overall the hotel are so clean and the room is big . Staffs are friendly too . Will be back again n stay at Ascott macau

Great hotel”
The room was excellent and the staff at the reception were extremely nice. The only negative surprise was to be had in the pool area where you had to ask for a towel from a rather unfriendly staff member and from the general uncleanliness of the mens changing room (used towels in a large pile that stayed untouched for two days). Additionally, only a fraction of the changing room closets were in working order and compared to the shower in the magnificent room the water pressure was abysmal. Lastly, there was no shampoo or shower gel in the changing room. Other than these problems the pool itself was extremely nice.

Fantastic Place in not so busy area - Great Value”
Great Value for Money with exceptional facilities for most travellers. Although the hotel is not located in the busiest of areas, it is just a 10 min walk away from everything you want to visit in Macau. If you want to gamble the MGM is just across the road. The hotel also contains a decent diner and bar. The gym and swimming pool facilities are sufficient with great friendly staff who keeps everything clean. It is also close to the Macau-Hong Kong ferry port which makes it easy for travellers to get to without paying too much for a taxi ride.

Well first The cons When i msg ascott for my stay (through agoda) i didnt get any reply. This is abit dissapointing No bellboy to help us carry the bag to the room, not even an offer from the staff at the lobby. The breakfast doesnt have that much selection (but all is delicious) The pros We got free upgrade because we re on our honeymoon trip. And a free wine Thank you so much ascott. Thanks to the recepcionist too. Sorry i forgot the name The room was worth the money. And for location its near mgm so its easy to go to the ferry terminal Theres also a convinence store and some restaurant. Might return to ascott when i visit macau again. The location is fine, opposite of Wynn Casino and Hotel, can get bus and taxi easily, reach tourist attractions within minutes by walking, mini supermarket is 220m away. The room is big and clean, they upgraded us to Executive Suite, price is reasonable and breakfast is included. Food is okay. Staffs are friendly and helpful and efficient. Everything is awesome!

Absolutely disappointed”
Booked Premier Suite and Deluxe Suite. Both rooms smelled of cigarettes. Called Guest Services to spray room, 20 mins on the line and no answer. Had to search for a Housekeeping staff on the floor. Check in and out is ridiculously long. One FO staff and bad attitude. Should have 2 during peak hours. Asked for GM or DM, bellboy or security said they are not on duty. Left a message for GM, Mr. Tang (name provided by staff but still no response till today). Having just stayed at Fraser Suites, Ascott Macau is truly disappointed. I would recommend other five stars in town if you don’t have to have a kitchenette.

An excellent stay and great value”
This was an on line booking thru Agoda. My first time to Macau and I did not know much about the location. I choose the Ascot from the hundreds of options- and I was extremely happy. The hotel is luxe for a very reasonable price, beautiful large room, clean, friendly staff and great location for everything Macau. I can find nothing negative to mention about my four days there. Unquestionably, I would recommend the Ascot over the more pricey hotels in that area.

We have booked two executive suites and the suite is spacious and clean. Amenities like the swimming pool, restaurants and Heart Bar are also good and the check in process is smooth and staff is helpful. Would definitely visit again if we stay in macau next time. Only setback is breakfast with limited selection and cannot keep up with replenishing food in peak times.

Close to Outer Harbour Ferry Station, you can use one of the other Casinos' shuttle bus. Hotel itself does not have a casino, but is close to the old town area and the Wynn and MGM casinos. Received an upgrade to a very spacious suite with great kitchen area, seating area and huge luxurious bathroom. Not sure if it is mentioned in the booking confimation, but upon checkin they ask for a safety deposit either in cash or on your credit card. Would stay here again. Pool was closed at time of our visit end/Sept. 2017.

We were promptly welcomed by the staff at the counter although she did not smile very much (the checking out staff was much friendlier). Good enough hotel but won't return next time”
Got upgraded to an Execute Suite but the room faced back street with no view. The room is spacious and clean but the extra space of the living room and open kitchen was not used anyway. Location was convenient where bigger hotels were nearby and we could tag along their shuttle services. There's a basic gym and pool but nothing special. The breakfast was a big disappointment. Poor selection and quality food and beverages. Not worth to add on when booking a room.

Nice Serviced apartment ”
Very clean and fully equipped serviced apartment. It's spaceous and delux.The only thing that make me felt unhappy was the lady who registered for me did not allow me to have late check-out. Her reason was that she had let me early check-in for 45 mins....

Great location value for money”
The serviced apartment was great! Just catch the free shuttle from Macau Ferry Terminal to MGM or WYNN and Ascott is just across the road. Wynn has also free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was good variety. Staff were excellent. Rooms were spacious

Clean hotel and spacious room”
The hotel room is comfy, however there's no casino and no shuttle bus to airport for this hotel. This will be the losing point of this hotel and the nearest casino is MGM opposite. one thing good about this hotel is the Heart Bar, they serve quality food and alcohol.

New and Spacious”
Hotel is relatively new and very spacious as it is an apartment type of hotel. Bright and comfortable with large beds and clean. Will stay here again if in Macau. Only setback is that it has no food and hence no breakfast but then food is readily available almost everywhere in Macau.

Bad Experience for internet and the staff attitude”
the staff attitude was so bad and rude. Keep interrupt me when i asked for help. Wireless internet was not fluently. It will stop every 5 mins. No one could be solve the problem even they will not offer you to the Business Centre instead. Staff was impolite and will not stay here again.

Nice, quiet and peaceful”
It was a very enjoyable stay. I had a late flight on my last day and they kindly extended my check-out time by two hours, which I greatly appreciated. It permitted me to go to the gym and pool. I did have one disappointment: there was no coffee maker in my room somewhat surprising for a 4-star hotel. I don't like instant coffee which was the only thing they had. I would definitely stay again and just bring my own drip coffee!

Great room but poor staff”
Room was amazing, with lots of space and 3 TVs (bedroom, lounge room, and bathroom). But staff were rather poorly trained: - wasn't given breakfast coupon at checkin - cleaning service did not clean room - no staff on duty to open the door for gym and swimming pool - reception promised they would put someone on duty to open the door for us, which didn't happen Also location is a bit boring, surrounded by other hotels and far away from the interesting centre.

Highly value-added choice among all the casino hotels. The Noble Suite we booked was very spacious, clean and luxurious. High quality furnishings with all you need for a holiday in Macau. Very convenient location with both high class and competitive dining choices. Much preferred than the large but cold casino hotels.

Pleasant but foul stench”
Overall, this place had everything we needed. A very quiet hotel compared to many other hotels in this area. Location was good. A bit of a distance from Senado Square but still walkable. We were however disappointed with the stench in the toilet. It smelt like something was dead at the sink area. We complained to the reception but no action was taken. Also the air vent in the toilet carried voices and toilet sounds from other rooms making our toilet visits somewhat uncomfortable.

Satisfying stay, spacious room, polite staff”
Went as a group of 4, booked a suite with king bed and an exective room with double beds. The suite was slightly pricier but worth the money as it is like a small apartment - there was a kitchenette, washer/ dryer, microwave/ oven, sofa/ living room area, king bed in the next room, and the attached toilet had a bathtub and shower. The executive room was smaller without the kitchenette and sofa area. Staff was friendly and courteous, and the rooms were clean. The hotel lift had a locking system such that only those with the card key will be able to access the floor they are staying in. Some downsides to this hotel include that they do not have a taxi stand and we had to go over to the hotel across the street if the hotel staff was unable to get a taxi through the taxi booking hotline. Slightly inconvenient considering that we went during the rainy season, and there was no shelter to the other hotel. There was also not much cafes/ eateries/ restsurants nearby that opens late, but a McDonald's/ McCafe is just down the street. Did not try the restaurants/ bars in the hotel, so cannot comment on them. Overall a satisfying stay at the hotel, and would go back again.

Very comfortable”
A very well-equipped and clean room - more like a serviced apartment than a hotel room. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was adequate, but not outstanding. Overall, it was very good value compared to other hotels in Macau.

The residence is very well laid out and the Heart Bar provide a great evening chill out location. Not much to expect of Macau itself if you're not a gambler like myself so I find the room itself was set up well enough for a stay in weekend
