Més informació sobre Districte de Ba Dinh - Truc Bach/Quan Thanh

Ba Dinh is the northernmost of Hanoi’s downtown districts. It holds some of the most important sites in Hanoi and is especially popular with international tourists. There are a few hotels in Ba Dinh District near Quan Thanh Temple and Truc Back Lake, though not as many as in the neighboring Old Quarter.

Staying in Ba Dinh District makes sense for leisure and business travelers who’d rather put some distance between themselves and the crowds of the Old Quarter. Local restaurants and hotels maintain high standards of service here.

Attractions are centrally located around Ba Dinh Square. This includes the off-beat Ho Chi Minh Museum and the adjoining mausoleum, where the leader’s body has been preserved for everyone to see. Tourists spend most of their time in between the museum and mausoleum, but usually round out the day with visits to the Hanoi War Memorial, the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Tourists can spend hours exploring this area on foot, stopping by Uncle Ho’s house and fish pond to take a break between visiting major sites.

Further inland is another spread of attractions around Thu Le Park. The Transportation University is here on Cau Giay Street. It’s joined by a few cultural attractions like Voi Phuc Temple and the Hanoi Botanical Zoo.

While most of the accommodation in Ba Dinh District targets budget tourists, there are also a few luxury hotels near the university and Quan Ngua Stadium. These are larger four- and five-star operations with a full range of amenities and some of the most comfortable rooms in Hanoi.
