Este hotel es una maravilla. Si vas a Varanasi vale la pena pagar el precio de la habitación porque no te vas a olvidar jamas de la experiencia. Está ubicado a orillas del Ganges a pocos metros de donde se llevan a cabo las ceremonias de agradecimiento al río. El staff es fuera de serie y el Restaurant es alucinante. Tienen servicios para hacerte vivir la mejor experiencia (paseo en bote en el sunset, en el sunrise (de pago) y te pueden coordinar el traslado al aeropuerto (de pago). Si vuelvo a Varanasi, vuelvo seguro a BrijRama.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, lots of unexpected inclusions (henna painting, dance performance, boat rides, fruit platters), my 2 young boys loved all the attention from staff who really looked after us including saving us from some monkeys!

Beautiful Heritage Hotel”

We like everything about this hotel, room is clean, service is absolutely outstanding, decoration is beautiful. The hotel is a real palace 200+ ago, it tells stories by itself. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the service is excellent!

Spectacular- the only place to stay in Vanarasi”

Absolutely loved Brijrama Palace. It is located right on the Ganges, even though the river was very high so no boats running (due to a very good monsoon) it was still an amazing experience. When there are no boats, the hotel is accessed via the alleyways (about 20 mins walk). You will not be able to find it yourself but hotel staff will meet you and walk you through the lanes to the hotel. We received a lovely welcome when we arrived and the staff were well trained and very attentive. The attention to detail is wonderful. Spotlessly clean and beautifully restored, the food was great (and safe no worries about Delhi belly). There are lots of little cafes within walking distance but they all looked very basic. So everyone ate in the hotel restaurant. Live music every evening and in the morning. Free high tea, and lots of little extras. The staff take guests to the religious ceremony every evening , only 5 mins walk away & they have an arrangement with a local that guests if brijrama palace can use their roof top to watch rather than being sausages in the crowds which was great. Sitting on the roof in the evening watching all the kites and monkeys was very special Varanasi is fantastic & staying here only made the visit even more special. I did not want to leave .

Great Hotel”

The location on the main Dashwamedha Ghat is outstanding and the hotel arranges boat trips with its private boats on the Ganges. We enjoyed the spectacular Ganga Arati in the evening which the hotel offers on a complimentary basis to all guests. The rooms are fitted well with excellent bed linen, cupboard space and are comfortable. The breakfast and the high tea were also nice . The people in the hotel across all functions were warm , Meeting our needs and have exceptional attitude ( particularly Mr Akash their Hotel Guide). It’s the best Varanasi has to offer and among our best experiences in Asia

Relaxing despite the heat and crowds”

The hotel is luxurious and accommodating with a 14th-century Mughal India presence. The furniture and architecture certainty do not feel cheap. From the interior design to the crew's kurta uniform and the musical performances, the management of the entire hotel is superbly well put together. The crew were also extremely polite and courtesy we really felt like royalty. All of the snacks in the room were complimentary, and everyday we had a change of complimentary indian sweets. The only bad thing that really put us off is how the hotel operates their transportation services. Varanasi train station is only 15minutes away to the harbour (Raj Ghat, where the hotel fetch you to the hotel with a complimentary boat ride) while Varanasi Airport is 1hour away, yet charging the same price. Overall, it was still a good holiday, made even more wonderful with friendly crew. Special shoutout to Shubum :)

Pleasantly surprised”

Apprehensively we were taken by their boats to the Ghat of the Hotel. What awaited us was a real pleasant surprise! The first thing that hits u is the staff friendliness, the hotel cleanliness. The rooms are extremely comfortable and toiletries are liberal. Our special thanks to Prem, Aakash,Surojit and Amresh for making our stay memorable. Not to forget Chef Nitin for churning out delicious food from the extensive hotel menus and beyond. My compliments to the Human Resources Team for a motivated staff. Best location to enjoy Varanashi on the Ganga side only by walk and boat!”

Great Location! Pick up by boot is amazing. You have to put up with the narrow environment backside, some noisy equipment could not be avoided to make the facility work in the meaning of independent and safe water and electricity supply. The staff is great, building history is amazing, front side view is great!

The Heritage walk organised by the hotel was an eye opener to the history of the place. A few indoor games like chess or pool table would have been good. The driver who took us to Saranath, Dharamraj, was a role model. The Ganga Arti sitting in the hotel's boat on Ganges was surreal! Loved every moment. Food was great. The biggest draw was the way staff interacted with you! One suggestion - must include a tour of the benares silk weaving area. View from the terrace of the property (located at Dasaswamedh Ghat ) particularly in the early morning and at dusk is exhilarating. For the devout, the Kasi Viswanath temple is just 10 minutes from the hotel, makes it easy to do the early morning darshan at 3 AM. Can see visible signs of development in the town, albeit at a calibrated pace that does not disturb the centuries old traditions. Excellent location, but a bit overpriced”

The location and service is really good. However, for the price, the room size is quite small. While the hotel feels luxurious, can't say the same about the room itself. Location is great, staff is friendly.

Perfect location”

Stayed in july and again in september. Very Good and secure place. Staff and food are great. The hotel might seem expensive to some, but the extras thats provided, such as free boat to ganga arti, live music morning and evening, free ironing makes up for it. No other hotel in varanasi provides such a professional service. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

Dulcis in fundo : one expencive night in Varanasi (please no more then 1 )”

it was our last night in india (chosed Varanasi as last stop) after a night in a train "1class A / C" . We wanted to "abound" and sleep the last night ... comfortable. At arrival they served tea and snaks and the amenities are good. The structure is beautiful a reconstruction of some old ruins castle. The staff is friendly and attentive (if you manage to be nice to the waiters at breakfast they can suggest you some good typical dishes ). We took advantage of the free boat transfer on arrival and when we left. Excellent option. Getting there by land with big suitcases would have been a bit problematic. We did not have to organize the boat walk on the ganghe and it was also included the boat visit to the Arti ceremony (in any case, rather cheap activities if you organize yourself at the moment) and we were delighted by a beautiful evening dance inside the hotel. These small attentions, especially the dance show, made us forget the price that was the most expencive of all our 2 weeks

I flew in from Mumbay for only 2 nights. As from AirPort pick-up till drop off all the services provided by the hotel were impeccable. This gave me the opportunity to focus on my goal: learning about Varanasi. After spending intense time outside coming back to the hotel was like entering an oasis. Clean comfortable room, amazing surrounding and decoration, access to terraces viewing the river Ganges and the small Ghatt, elegant restaurant with very good kitchen (vegetarian, no alcohol) , some live music and dance performance in the evening and yoga in the morning! This ancient palace is about beauty not luxury and so it is not in contrast with its surrounding but is in perfect harmony with it. The staff was professional and very helpfull and friendly. The service smooth. Travelling alone, I felt safe. The bill was correct. This is not a cheap hotel but you get value for the money. I found it worthwhile.

Apart from a star hotel,this Brij Rama palace has given some unique feeling which is to be felt personally. The most welcome feather is that the location of the hotel which is in the banks, of Holy Ganges.The staffs from the chauffeur,cruise staff house keeping,restaurant staff,security,manager,everyone is to be appreciated.My stay( 21.08.18-23.08.18) in the palace will always be in my good remembrance.
