Es un hotel super correcto, ubicado en una zona inmejorable. Inconveniente solo 1 ascensor pero hay que comprender que estas en Chiado-Baixa
Perfect location with excellent service”
Have spent 3 nights there and I strongly recommend the hotel. The rooms are very nice with computer and Bluetooth speakers. Very good breakfast with "real" coffee. Perfect location, right at the city center, just 2 min from the subway and 10min to the train station to Sintra. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there.
We got upgraded to the penthouse where we had an awesome two-nights stay. The view of the room was wonderful, breakfast was great, and the hospitality of front-desk staffs were excellent. Will definitely come back.
Very stylish boutique hotel, and a jewelry in town”
Location is very good. Not far from airport bus stop, it is very good location to get to everywhere. The staff is very helpful. The room very stylish and cozy. You are surprised there is washing machine in room.
Right next to underground station, and 5 min walk to where most restaurants are located. Nice breakfast. Just like many European hotel, they only have the combined bathing soap/shampoo, so bring your own shampoo. Free wifi
laid back luxury with the best coffee ever!”
Although the staff had failed to book us into two rooms as paid for via Agoda, , as there were 4 of us, they sorted it out and we loved our rooms, huge beds, Ipads, imacs, luxury toiletries. There is no tea and coffee as they want you to buy from their cofffee shop downstairs, but here is a cooker , fridge and washing machine! The staff are young and friendly , and helpful with tips for where to go etc. We were talked into going to "Salamanca" restaurant which they get commission on for bookings but we loved it anyway. There waas jazzy funky music playing all the time and we liked the intimate lounge/breakfast room with huge leather chairs, newspapers etc. The location is good, next to Chiado metro and all the shops, and a 5 min walk down to the riverside. Breakfast is continental and limited, so dont expect too much but there is limitless coffees which are FAB.Its intimate and chilled and better than being in a big dining room. One thing ...room 405..noisy due to a dog which lives on the baclony in an apartment next door to hotel, it lioves outside on the balcony and barks a lot.
Central location, beautiful room”
I received a room upgrade after being told my booking at Brown's Boutique was cancelled and they failed to notify me prior to check in. But they definitely made up for it at Brown's Central. The room was spacious (esp by European standards) and I was impressed by the amenities: a Mac desktop, Marshall bluetooth speakers, plenty of power sockets, full length mirror, a well-stocked mini bar and more. I also received coupons for a welcome drink. The bed was huge and I had a balcony view of the streets. The breakfast was simple but lovely. The front desk was helpful but not as warm as the other hotels I stayed at during my time in Portugal. The location of this hotel is hard to beat - restaurants and cafes throughout the streets and a bar just across the hotel that featured a pretty cool live band that kept me entertained all night. I would recommend this hotel to those hitting Lisbon for the first time - it's a great place to start your travels in this beautiful city.
Charming hotel in the city center”
I was pleased to stay in this hotel. The location is amazing, walking distance everywhere. I got to stay in a room with a balcony with a nice view. The only trouble is that if you are staying with a friend, the room is too small, you will have a hard time looking for a space to put your luggage. I think the bed is too big for the space. Also is the shower, it is pretty much exposed. If you are alone it is perfectly fine, but if you are sharing it with a friend, then I do not recommend the room I got. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear the unzipping of luggage in the other room, so be very considerate. Overall, the room is great for 1 person with very little things. I was not in the room most of the time but it is still good nonetheless.
Beautiful Boutique Hotel in perfect location”
This is a beautiful boutique hotel and it is located right in the middle of everything. The room was amazing, staff helpful and the breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day. The service at the bistro restaurant was always top notch...probably best service at any place we ate during out stay. We plan to return to Lisbon again and will stay here next time as well. Highly recommend Browns Boutique Hotel.
The staff make this hotel!”
Arrived too early to check in. A friendly receptionist took our luggage and when we came back a few hours later we discovered she'd given us an upgrade! Room was lovely and spacious (although bathroom was not quite at the high standard of the room). One minor issue was the door in the shower wouldnt close but we reported it and it was fixed the next day. Breakfast was included and although it wasnt great for me as a vegan, my friend enjoyed the selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Would definutely stay here again!!
Excellent breakfast ”
Great location Delicious breakfast with generous fruits and Portuguese egg tartttt! Helpful staff Cons: king size bed is merge with 2 small bed. The only things I don’t like
Great location in the heart of downtown close to many good restaurants and shops. Daily breakfast was a great extra with excellent crossaints! I booked a superior and it was a great sized room on the corner.
Best Hotel I stayed this year!”
The people at the reception are tremendously friendly, the room (503) had a few to the castle and over the city. Location Downton is exceptionally, breakfast very very good. No complains at all, I will come back!
Great boutique hotel , very nice rooms all with nespressi coffee machines and Apple Macs , beds are the best with pillow menus Near metro station , with lots of restaurants around you. Breakfast good too with plenty of choice
Fab room with all the amenities-star location”
Loved the huge platform bed with lovely linen, marble power shower and well considered electronics- iPad, sound system, huge TV and plugs for charging. It's extremely well located and staff went out of their way to be helpful.
Great visit; central location”
Upgraded to the 4 star hotel. Facilities were good with free guest printing and great atmosphere with breakfast included. Wifi took a while to connect; spacious rooms but bathroom design could be improved
Fantastic hotel and the breakfast...wow!!”
This was my second stay in Browns boutique hotel and apartments, and it did not disappoint! Super comfy bed and cushions, great size even though I stayed in (I think) the smallest room size available. Only issue was that I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the shower, and even though I called reception several times there was no answer (phone may of been broken idk). The breakfast was to die for and the best I've ever eaten at any hotel and I couldn't get enough of it!! Such good variety of things to eat!! The location is superb, right in the centre next to the main square and tram lines, walking distance to everything and right next to a tube station. Couldn't of asked for a better location!! And the food in the bistro is also amazing, the chips that come with the burger (which is also amazing) are also the best ever!!! Could recommend this hotel more and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lisbon
This hotel is an odd one - it's very well designed, and has one of the best locations in Lisbon, being right in the centre of the historic town. However, there are cut corners which detract from what could be an excellent experience. There has been attempt at soundproofing, meaning you can hear everything occurring inside and outside. Most annoyingly, the room was advertised as being a 'double' but, in fact, was simply two single beds pushed together and covered with a double-sheet. This is the most appalling false advertising, and I just don't get why they aren't more honest here. The end result is you pay for a double, and then, in the middle of the night, the beds separate sufficiently so either you or your partner disappear in the fresh, yawning crevice between them, slowly lowered by the sheet. Absolutely infuriating.
Browns magnificent apartment”
Had a great time at our apartment. Excellent location to be able to go out and explore and easy to come back to recharge and head out again. The apartment itself was so comfortable and inviting we spent more time there than in other places as it was spacious and relaxing and offered various forms of entertainment including a full size Mac, an ipad and a large screen TV. F#%*ing awesome.
Perfect location in Lisbon ”
I enjoyed my stay at the Brown Boutique hotel in Lisbon. The location was excellent. As a solo traveller I felt very safe walking around the neighbourhood alone at night. The room was clean and spacious. I loved the Marshall wireless speaker in the room I used to listen to Spotify. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of options each morning. My only complaint was that the shower leaked a lot and made the floor wet and slippery! The staff was friendly enough when approached for but no one went out of their way to make me feel welcome. There were no facilities to be used in the hotel. A lounge or someplace quiet for guests to enjoy after dealing with the crowds in Lisbon would have been appreciated. Overall I had a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel to a friend visiting Lisbon!
