Had a great stay at Sintra Hotel. The suite was very clean, beautifully furnished, and with a great view. The staff was friendly, room service was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Perfect location with everything nearby. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Islamabad.

Location The hotel is in a quiet spot, a little away from the busy areas. It sits on the main highway, with other hotels some distance away. If you enjoy shopping, street food, or evening walks in local markets, you will need to take a cab. The nearest market is about a 10–15 minute drive. Walking isn’t really an option here, unless you fancy playing a daredevil on the highway. Also, for those coming by car, valet staff are friendly and helpful. But parking is open-air with no roof. After the recent hailstorm in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, this might worry guests who care about their car’s safety. Cleanliness is one of the hotel’s strong points. The lobby, rooms, bedsheets, floors, and bathrooms were all spotless. Even during my visit when humidity was high enough to make fabrics moody, the rooms were completely odor-free. A thoughtful touch: next to the key slot, a switch lights up a “clean” sign outside the room, signaling housekeeping without the hassle of phone calls. An eco-friendly bedside card encourages guests to reuse sheets if possible, with the message written in both English and Español. A small detail, but one that whispers inclusivity. I had requested assistance, and upon arrival, staff greeted us warmly, helped with a wheelchair, and whisked us through check-in with refreshing lemonade in hand. The whole process barely took three minutes. Requests were handled with speed and courtesy. A second key card, delivered instantly upon my request. Wheelchair assistance throughout our stay was always available, right until checkout when we were escorted back to our car. Every interaction reflected attentiveness without being overbearing, the kind of balance hotels often struggle to achieve. Spacious and sunlit, the room struck a comfortable balance between function and relaxation. Two windows brought in natural light, while a desk, dressing table, and a roomy closet added practical convenience. Inside the closet were hangers aplenty, biodegradable laundry bags, a safe, and even a Phillips steam iron, though sadly, the iron behaved more like a leaky faucet in steam mode. The bed was generous in size, though I did wish both bedside tables had their own lamp switches instead of just one. Floors were immaculate: part marble, part wood, giving the room a subtle dual personality. Complimentary beverages (teas, coffee, milk powder, sugar variants, and sweeteners) along with bottled water and an electric kettle were nice touches. The minibar stocked snacks and drinks, but these came at a price. The bathroom impressed with hygiene and came equipped with a hairdryer, though its gentle airflow might test the patience of those in a hurry. Still, tissues, a handy toilet-side phone, and ample cleanliness earned solid points. The ground-floor restaurant offered a buffet breakfast that mixed desi favorites with continental staples, while à la carte meals and hi-tea were also available. A rooftop live BBQ buffet (priced at 5,777 PKR per person) added flair, though vegetarians like me may find the selection a bit limited. Still, what was served tasted fresh and well-prepared. Room service was an option, though I stuck mostly to the buffet. One quirk, while desserts were free, a single scoop of ice cream carried a 500 PKR charge (plus tax). It was more like paying a premium for the cherry on top while the cake is free. I paid *** for one night through Agoda, receiving attentive service, spotless rooms, and hearty dining. The uncovered parking, quirky iron, and narrow vegetarian options nudged the value slightly off balance, but with top-notch service and hygiene, the stay felt mostly worth it. In my opinion, a shining 90% polished, with just a bit more shine needed. I’d definitely would like to return on my next visit to Islamabad, but just with car insurance, a backup iron, and maybe my own ice cream in tow. The restaurant staff was so helpful in helping us choose our food, they guided us through the menu with patience and warmth. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented. The GM's leadership was evident in every detail. But the best part was the ambiance, peaceful, calm, and free from unnecessary noise. It felt like a true escape. Great stay in the city's heart, with everything nearby and lovely views around. Babar, the caretaker, was super helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the AC worked perfectly. Not a good stay at all. Cleanliness of the rooms is pathetic and washrooms are of very bad condition. Complimentary breakfast was included but nothing was provided saying they don’t have stuff

The room has the same quality as a five-star hotel and breakfast is diverse. My friend, being Pakistani, requested an omelet, which was truly delicious when freshly made. Also, the chai was very good. Both the toilet and shower were clean. However, there were times, possibly due to the time of day, when hot water did not come out. The welcome tea and fruits were nice, but it would have been better if the fruits were served cut. There was always someone to open the hotel front door properly, and there was security in the parking lot, which made me feel safe. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed as well. Even after checking out, they took care of my suitcase, and when I returned to pick it up and was relaxing on the sofa in front of the reception, they offered me a sandwich. I would like to use this hotel again.
