Ignore the Yelp reviews ”
Posting this because I saw all these negative Yelp reviews and I wanted to share my experience. Through the Yelp reviews, I read that the place was disgusting, the staff was racist (like, old school racist), and that they were incredibly impolite. However, that was the exact opposite of my experience there. The staff and the guests were all incredibly diverse and everyone was friendly. We didn’t get breakfast there and didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but they were all very helpful, polite, and friendly. The place was also more secure than most hotels Bc you need a key card to go into each floor by elevator. Our room was also very very clean, and included a tv that let you connect to your phone or laptop, which is nice Bc so many hotel room TVs just have channels and some stuff you have to pay for. Additionally, it’s smack dab in the middle of downtown and it seems like it’s a really great location. They also have water bottle refilling stations on each floor which was a nice perk. The only complaint I have that no one can fix is that the building is clearly very old, and it shows in some areas, like the shower stalls. Maybe some glass doors would be nice. And the room doesn’t come with a fridge, which was inconvenient for my boyfriend and I as we were finishing up from a road trip and had extra food with us.

Great Value”
We were there for the Astros and downtown! Though small, we were only there to sleep and shower. The free bottled water in the hall, the coffee bar and snacks were great to have as well. The historic building has been kept up and was very clean! We will stay again. Valet was a little high but worth it after the fact!

Beautiful ”
This hotel is amazing! The only thing that I didn’t like was that you HAD to use valet that cost $32 a night! Other than that, the hotel was so beautiful and clean. I loved the quick access to places around as well.

Freaking stellar!”
I had a few issues with the tv rebooting, called to the front office and they were MORE than happy to be off assistance. All forms of aid were administered however the issue could not be resolved, thus management upgraded my stay and provided quality customer service doing so. By all means I am extremely satisfied with club quarters and their staff, I hope to stay here again!

Stylish and Comfortable in the heart of downtown Houston”
I have had a few opportunities to stay and this hotel and its been a pleasure every time. Located within minutes of many of the downtown offices, nightspots, and dining. I love the lobby in this place, the decor is a sophisticated mix of modern and classic. Of course, it features valet parking and many other amenities.

Exceeded our expectation ”
We loved our stay! The check in staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our room was larger than we expected and all very new and great bathroom. We loved the free water and free coffee! The gym is all brand new, so surprising. Great gym!

Admittedly I was upgraded from double room. Best place I've stayed while travelling in USA. I arrived with a back problem. Great service and facilities. Only sad bit due to being on Pain killers could not particapte in the free Wine evening!

Great staff, clean and convenient travels”
The only issue I had was with the televisions. Initially, I couldn’t get the remotes to work so that was fixed and then, the TVs continuously turned on during the night. I called staff and they just unplugged them. Otherwise great stay

Right in the City Centre”
Well located and very pleasant hotel. Though we had a small double it was large enough for my wife and I. Staff absolutely awesome, nothing was too much trouble.

Clean and comfortable”
Great value for money. Clean, had everything I needed. Loved the tea/coffee available in the lobby and the fruit etc. for a light breakfast in the morning.

Not many offerings ”
Kind of disappointed they didn't offer room service, they didn't clean our room, and the coffee machine in the room had to be replaced. Otherwise, the location was nice and the staff was SUPER friendly!!

Trashy couch, TV did not work”
My TV did not work, and I very much liked my room, it had a desk and and office chair (which I needed) as well as a corner view out the windows (which I greatly appreciated). When I called about the TV a very nice lady came and tried to fixed it. Couldn’t get it to work so she moved me to an “upgrade”. The windows were a “view” of the brick of the building next store. No desk, just a unbelievably crappy couch and dumpy end table. When I sat in the couch It sank so far in unexpectedly that I strained my back - it still hurts - when I ask if I could have my old room back The next day I was told that the TV had still to be looked at yet and I have to stay in the dumpy upgrade which I did not ask for nor did I reserve. The staff was very nice except for putting me in the dump, the hotel is easily the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at and the cleanliness of the hotel was a 10 out of 10. Because of the dumpy room what should have been a stress free time as I started Cancer treatments was instead stressful as well as injurious to myself. Because of that - very poor customer care - I most likely will be looking for different accommodations for the next several months

Loved the stay, staff and gym, as well as the location, but unfortunately the room that we were given was definitely not a non-smoking room as requested
