Tres días sin WIFI ”

El hotel es bonito, las habitaciones son grandes y la ubicación es buena. Y hasta ahí puedo leer. Estuvimos sin wifi, incluso cuando en la reserva aseguraban que había wifi, en una isla en la que no hay posibilidad de tener wifi fuera del hotel, sin poder hablar con nuestras familias, durante los 3 días que nos alojamos, según ellos por un problema que estaban solucionando. No limpiaban la habitación a menos que específicamente se lo pidieras, el aire acondicionado chorreaba agua, la cadena del wc funcionaba mal, la ducha estaba medio rota, y lo peor sin duda: La música está a tope desde las ocho de la mañana hasta las diez de la noche. A tope. Literalmente. Y el supuesto aislamiento acústico se lo olvidaron al construir las cabañas. Imposible descansar. Música india a tope todo el día! Hemos hecho un video por la noche para gestionar la reclamación! Estamos hablando de un hotel que cuesta mas de cien euros la noche!

Awesome location , room service great, reception staff not up to the mark and can let go off client”

Restaurant staff very gentle and cordial, however reception staff was not committed and not up to mark. Check out time needs to be worked out as too much money mindedless can let you loose client. You need to be lineint with family with small kids regarding checkout.was not satisfied with reception staff. Two ladies were not at all upto the mark. We stayed for 5days and they were not ready to accommodate for even an hour while checking out, such pitiful. Too much money oriented

We spent three nights at the resort. The resort is well maintained. Rooms are clean and service is good. They have an excellent restaurant. The quality of reception and how they deal with customers needs to be improved especially while check in and check out time.

Good Resort but no WiFi!”

For future travellers please come prepared to enjoy a gaget free vacation as the resort WiFi will not work and the only response you will get is there some technical issues with the WiFi. I stayed there for a week and didn't get the fortune of using there WiFi. I can understand as it is an island there will be internet issues but what I fail to understand is why there was no mention made by the resort while advertising the property.

Excellent Place For Family Travellers”

It's an amazing place for family with its own private beach having barbecue hosted in the evenings on the hotels private beach with music. Very close to Havelock jetty providing free pick up & drop. Clean rooms & very well maintained. Staff is also friendly, & helpful with very good room service. Also a location for scuba diving, which one shouldn't miss at all.

Great stay”

It’s a beach property so great views of the sea. Food is a big + though on the higher side but quantity and quality are awesome .. delux cottages are not beach facing so that’s misleading information and pictures.. free shuttle mentioned is only for pick up and drop from jetty and not for going to any of the beaches or in town. Beach side dinner is a rip off in my opinion but if you are a honeymooner then go ahead.. better to order the food through room service and enjoy it with drinks in your sitout area.. overall had a great stay would definitely recommend to friends and family

Amazing staff, has a private beach with really nice dive and snorkeling site near by. Close to the port and you can take a bus to most of the beaches from here. They pick you up from the jetty. Really good staff and activities in the resort and they have really good breakfast.

Great place amazing facilities ”

Amazing property with great ambience,good food and facilities in house scuba diving was excellent. Staff are very helpful especially Mohit Sharma was a go to person for any queries I had. Variety of breakfast menu, free jetty pick and drop facilities. Candle light dinner facilities available and is done in an excellent way. I would rate it as one of the best resort with great facilities in Havelock Island

Pros: good food, private beach, good house keeping staff, near to jetty Cons: restaurant staff very lousy(it would take long time to get the orders served), away from good beaches of Radhanagar, Elephanta Private beach is more kind of a lagoon where water recedes fast leaving all sands.

Place is beautiful...No refund is given if you check out one day early + extra charges for children is levied on customer as hotel says they do not have information about child , ferry cost to island & back not disclosed lot of hidden charges are applicable we checked out one day in advance no refund was made ..Verify carefully agoda not reliable customer care not reachable

Great Stay !!”

The best thing about the hotel is it ends with a beach :-) they have a beautiful grill beside the beach where you can just chill and be on your own, enjoy music, dance, and booze. Great place.

Notable”

Resort is near to Jetty point(1.2), it’s have a it’s own private beach as not like open sea beach it’s next to scuba dive point. Rooms are nice well maintained. Bad part is only bathroom fittings, which maintenance.

Andaman holiday”

HIBR is located on the beautiful beach No. 2 Havelock island. Overall we had a wonderful stay here for 7 nights with our 3 young boys. A few things to note though: 1. When the tide is out this is not a swimming beach. High tide was around mid day and was great for the boys. Snorkelling , marine life etc. But at low tide (early to mid morning) you're better off in the pool as it's hard to reach the water through the rocks/coral. A new bigger pool is currently under construction close to the beach. 2. The idyllic beach is slightly spoilt by a pile of rubbish at the side. Not sure if this is on their property or not but a real shame to see plastic bottles etc piled up when they could easily be tidied up. 3. The way the chalet layout has been designed means that most chalets/rooms have no view of the amazing beach & turquoise sea. A shame . Same for the main restaurant . It's tucked away in a dark corner at the back when it could be beach side. 4. I feel a bit bad saying this but the reality is that we're travelling with young children from the uk who aren't used to eating spicy food . So when this was explained to restaurant staff and they then still bring spicy food it's a bit frustrating . Most evenings we had dinner elsewhere. The included breakfast is pretty basic too.

Excellent location right on the beach”

Recently, I stayed for seven nights at Havelock Beach Resort. The setting was very relazing and right on the beach. The food was good with a wide selection of different cuisines. The room was well maintained with both towels and beach towels. The only drawback was the Beach Party every night. They string neon lights on the palm trees and play music from about 7-10 or 11 pm. My room was right next to the dance platform so the music was exceptionally loud. The location was great, but if you want to eat at the cheaper option restaurants you have to walk 3 kilometers, or take a tuktuk. The problem is after 8 pm there are no tuktuks, so we walked back to the hotel. The hotel does provide transportation at a cost. Overall a great choice with a great beach!

Only intrested in money not customer service”

You even have to pay to sit on the beachside in the restaurant though we stayed for seven nights. There were not one single sunbed on the beach. They were all broken and you had to lift them down to the beach yourself.

Pleasant stay ”

We stayed couple of days with our small kids. It was really pleasant and value for money. The location was awesome and connectivity was very good. Staffs were very cooperative and fulfilled the demands. The only disappointing thing was WiFi connectivity.

I have never had such amazing Hotel staff (especially the Manager Shyreen, she was too good). The evening vibe at the Beach front ambience and the dance floor was amazing as well !! We danced the night away to Mr.Ajay (who was the DJ that evening) !! Thank you to the entire staff !!

Water supply in bathroom was disturbed twice during our stay but that was very short time. I think the force with which water is delivered from taps can be reduced a little to reduce unnecessary wastage of water.
