Highly Recommended hotel for Family with Kids”
Pros: 1. Heated Pool 2. Has separate pool for kids. My 3 year old son enjoyed the pool so much. 3. Very accessible 4. Very comfortable King bed. 5. Spacious room. 6. Kid friendly room. 7. Restaurant - delicious food especially their deserts. 8. People - very warm especially those people at the restaurant. They are all commendable. 9. Quite place to stay and enjoy. 10. Toilet - clean, big everything are provided along with bathrobes. 11. Linens - bedsheets, pillowcase and comfortable look and smells clean. 12. Pillows - we have 4 comfortable pillows. 13. Parking - safe basement parking. 14. Hotel has small garden where my son enjoyed playing. Cons 1. Small insects on the pool but it’s manageable. Overall - highly recommended hotel.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT”
We celebrated my 26th birthday last Nov27-29 in this hotel, it may be a little pricey compare to the other hotel nearby or within tagaygay but I must say it was really worth the money. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. From FO , FnB & most especially there HK staff. I would to express my deepest thank you to the Lady I encountered when Im about to exit our room. I have read the guidelines regarding when it comes to make up room that It should be done every after 2 days, But she did not hesistantly offered to make up our room, since we are about to go outside. Truly that simple things can make your heart flattered,that in this midst of Pandemic they still care about the comfort of there guest. We will surely comeback 💖 Kudos to the Team of Hotel Monticello . Great Service ☺️

Worth it!”
The place was quiet, given the date we went there which was on a Friday, so it wasn't crowded. The interior is quite outdated. The furniture colors don't seem appropriate. Not something you'd expect from a hotel. But not a big deal. The room we stayed in is clean and comfortable. Room service rates are affordable. I was expecting to get charged for requesting stuff, but turns out, they only billed us for food and did not charge us for other requests. Staff are very kind and accommodating. We went for swimming and forgot to bring plastics/laundry bags for our wet clothes, but the staff gave us a bag. The free (plated) breakfast is just fine, nothing extravagant. The place is quite accessible to parks/go-to places of Tagaytay. Will definitely come back here next time.

Family Weekend Getaway”
Celebrated hubby's birthday with a weekend getaway in Tagaytay. Decided to book with Hotel Monticello since 2 of my top choices, which we have stayed in before, were both sold out. We are a family of 5, with 2 older children and 1 toddler. I booked 2 superior rooms with king bed incl breakfast. No regrets! Value for money. Spacious - from parking, lobby, hallways and the rooms! I love that the rooms are really clean and properly sanitized. The airconditioning and beds gave us a really good night and restful sleepStaff are attentive. Buffet breakfast was enough and filling. The pools (adult and heated kiddie) are well-maintained.

Memorable Birthday”
Have check in twice at Hotel Montcello since 2018 and now 2022. It’s a memorable time since Im celebrating my birthday and at the same time our annual summer outing with my family. They have welcome us warmly and managed to gave us one of their best and affordable family room. They also take pride of serving the best breakfast to their guest. Staffs are all friendly and accommodating. They also gave me a complimentary cake for my special day 🎂. The best part of it is that I received a call from my colleague that they saw my name posted in a list of winners who have won the major prize. Yes, I won a Montero Sports SUV 😂‼️ Best gift from GOD. That’s why I love Hotel Monticello because it reminds me of that amazing moment of my life 🤗❤️❤️❤️

Great and fast service. Very accommodating staffs. Heated pool with gym, great breakfast. Very very safe to stay in, hotel is with strict safety protocols. We felt very safe. We felt very comfortable, room is great big and clean all with free amenities. For us Hotel Montecillo is the best hotel in Tagaytay with great price and service. All were great! 100% Highly recommended!:D

Awesome Experience”
Stayed here with my parents over the weekend and we really enjoyed our quick vacation. All the staff from reception to restaurant were very accommodating. The buffet breakfast last weekend was also very delicious with the right amount of choices. The tvs are flatscreen but not yet a smart tv (no netflix/youtube) but we just brought our own chromecast so that allowed us to watch movies as well using their free wifi. Will definitely go back here :)

Best Stay Ever”
This place is highly recommended. Our suite was upgraded from Firenze to Capri and it was bigger than the former. Its just really the best place to spend your night away from the busy streets and the breeze was so fine. Room was secured and clean. Staffs were accomodating and nice. The food were also commendable. Will def come back again!

We had a great stay in HM. No hassle with check in and check out. No problem also with parking spaces. We got a room on the 3rd floor. Room is spacious, clean and comfy but there's no balcony. How I wish there is, because there's a space already outside. How nice it would be especially at night just feeling the cold foggy weather. Anyway, when we arrived I noticed that the chiller (yes chiller, not refrigerator) is not working and the cable seems to stop and freeze and runs again. I called them then they immediately replaced the chiller and fixed the cable, nice. For amenities, they have function rooms, massage room, gym, adult pool, kiddie pool and bar which is nice if you just want to chill and hangout For the breakfast, I would say it can be better, but understandable and delicious. Thanks HM! and for the umbrella you lent to us. Will definitely stay again.☺️

Clean and spacious”
The room is spacious. Easily fits 4 people. The facilities are clean as expected and the staff are warm and helpful. Plus they continue to provide sanitary kits (face mask and alcohol) for each guest which is a great thing because we’ve been to other much more expensive hotels in Tagaytay but they don’t have those kits.

Heated Pool and Food was great.”
We reserved 3 rooms and everyone enjoyed their stay. The kids enjoyed the heated pool even though it was raining. We had our dinner in Cafe Mercedes and food was great. Bringing of food is allowed.We ordered one Medium Bilao of Pancit at Lufong's Restaurant near the Hotel and it's the best tasting pancit ever. We basically just enjoyed our stay in the hotel for relaxation.

Relaxing couples weekend”
The staff was very courteous and professional, so as to protect ALL guests. Our room was clean and can accommodate a king sized bed! We also enjoyed a drink from our balcony. We would like to be back, if we are in Tagaytay. Highly recommend!

Great budget hotel!”
For a 3 star hotel, it was great! One thing that I did note though was that there were limited personnel at the reception area and does not answer calls sometimes but overall, a great hotel to stay. Toiletries and other amenities were provided in the room. Staff were polite and courteous and the lounge area was big. Breakfast served was also nice.

Short but great stay”
We checked in late because of our wedding. We requested for late check out and the staff gladly accommodated our request. The room was clean and nice. Just needs to fix the sliding door in the bathroom since you can actually peek from the outside which is not good if there are other people coming in to the room, also the doors on the balcony needs to have a lock. Sadly weren't able to enjoy their buffet breakfast since we woke up late and it was only served at our room. Food was great compared to other hotels, just probably need to improve on the omelette. Location was great as it is situated along the main road. Overall, we had a great stay will definitely come back.

Contrary to the other reviews that breakfast buffet is not good, its actually excellent! The pool is heated so kids can swim even at night. All staffs are nice. The price of food is reasonable. Just a minor thing maybe is the smell of the room, is not so good. But apart from that everything is excellent!
