Very good location, just opposite the bus station where you can take bus to the tourist spots. Very friendly & helpful staff who can give us suggestion where to visit. Bicycles can use for free

The hotel is a bit hard to find because there is no sign in English. But once there, it's a great location. And the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The place is basic and old, but it's clean. A bonus: free use of their bicycles which was a huge plus

I agree with all of the positive recent reviews; location, staff, cost, etc., however this is an older building that could definitely use some work. I would recommend it to some friends, but not all. If you're satisfied with just the features listed in the reviews, then this is a good place to stay, otherwise you'll need to look elsewhere!

The location is the Best But there is no proper bed you sleep on mattress on the floor and very noisy form the street and activities downstair. Don’t bothered with the so called breakfast it’s only a ONE toast.you have to pay for a coffee haha

Last resort option ”
Interesting stay during long weekend, and was the last resort in the whole town. For the price, it was odd that we didn't get 1 day of room service during our 5day4night stay. We got clean towels once when we asked. Bicycle rental and location was the best part, in addition to all other time spent outside. The bed is not made for two.

The receptionist was fine, they helped us to carry our luggage to upstairs since there was no elevator. The corridor to our room is small,narrow dark and creepy . When I opened the door, I could smelled cigarettes smoke surrounding the super tiny room. The room was so so small until I couldn’t open up my luggage. Everything in the room was in yellow colour condition, old school , moldy,dusty.The pillow and blanket produced some weird smelly smell as well. The washing machine and dryer which required money to function were not functioning after we paid but the staff didn’t inform us , which mean I paid for nothing but troublesome and madness. I even need to walk to the nearest self service laundry to get my wet clothes done . Basically, just pay a little bit more to get a better stay.

Perfect for us”
We needed an afforable, extremely centrally located room. Our 2 days in Taitung were made perfect by access to bikes. We took two long bikerides and loved it. The owner suggested us places to go. Staff was very kind to us. Yes, it’s an older hotel and could use some renovation. But the rooms were in good enough shape at least for our modest requirements.

Hotel Manager was helpful. We borrowed 2 bikes and explored the local area. The room was smaller than photos dictated. Comfortable enough bed and the air conditioning worked.

Good location, right next to the Bus Station”
The staff are very nice and helpful, they even let you use bicycles for free. The location is perfect as it's right next to the bus station, and a shopping mall and a night market only 2-5 minutes walking. There are a lot of things nearby. The building itself is a bit old, but it's OK. The bed in our room was very hard, which for us that we prefer soft beds, was way too hard. Hot water runs from 17.00 to 8.00. The staff are very nice and helpful.

The owner goes out of his way to assist despite language difference barrier. The start of the recommended 20 km bike trail is merely meters away from the door step and the owner lent us their bikes. Old bikes but served its purpose.

Perfect location and very nice hosts but aging equipment. Hot water takes ages to come. Mosquitoes. Cracking paint and old furniture. Common parts are not very clean.
