great villa with amazing view”
we stayed for 3 nights at 3-bedroom villa. the villa pool is a bit small. but the rooms were great with good amenities. resort environment is amazing. great infinity pool and nice private beach. we tried both of the two restaurants in the resort. they were very good esp. Di Mare Restaurant. the breakfast choices were satisfying. spa is a bit expensive so we didnt try. staff were friendly with nice smile always. we enjoyed the time here.

Luxury with beauty onset”
One of the best resorts i've ever stayed in Bali, I almost gave up on the resort halfway reading some reviews. Resort amenities = excellent Service = excellent We booked a 3 room 6 pax occupancy. Setback was, alot of mosquito's due to staying inside hills and tress best beach in bali i have ever encounter besides the villa pool was abit small, all else is perfect. Price = go in group, cheaper and worth it.
Not my luck with bad staff”
First i got wrong information when i checked in. I made reservation for one bed room villa include breakfast. Thw staff lady told me i booked 2 bedrooms without breakfast. Second, just had 15 minutes rest in my room, the same lady staff asked me when i would check out tomorrow... really??????? Third, she didn’t how know how to use EDC machine when i to checked out. Karma should train their staffs well.

Karma Kandara was beautiful. The best thing was we were upgraded to the large villa! So much space for 2 of us. Swimming pool looking over the forest was such a breeze, I loved it. Private beach is peaceful and nice. We enjoyed kayak. All in all I had very pleasant stay. Thank you so much

Located in cliff-side, our Oceanfront villa have the best view. We can enjoy sunset while swimming at our own private infinity pool. Everything was great, we can have our family live in one building. In one morning, monkeys were inside our villa taking our snacks! It's kind of annoyed us, but it is also a funny experience. We called the staff, so they can get the monkey out of our villa area, so it is not a big problem. All is great, besides the breakfast. We think the breakfast choices is not much like we are expected. Hope there will be more breakfast choices at the buffet in the future :)

Breathtaking Karma Kandara”
Loved it so much!! I would recommend it to all who love the ocean. Karma Kandara's private beach is simply out of the world! Clear, clean and gentle waters (during low tide) are perfect for watersports especially snorkeling. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a 3BRM from a 2BRM. Very thankful for that. The Spa I had in the ocean view room was out of the world! The view was spectacular and the massage was very good. I can't wait to stay there again, hopefully soon :)

Always a pleasure to stay at Karma Kandara. 5th visit this year. Wonderful beach and staff - food is also very good. Excellent location for hopping on scooters and heading down to Uluwatu Temple / Uluwatu area. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic place for family vacation, with spectacular scenery. A very private resort which you can spend a good time relaxing with exhilarating views of the ocean. The staff were very nice and helpful. They were very attentive and readily for help. Getting from the villa down to the beach club via tram provided a fun experience. At Karma Kandara there is a private beach area and a fitness centre.Other facilities like water sports facilities, a shared lounge and a tour desk are offered. Activities in the surrounding area include snorkelling and canoeing.

Not satisfied with this hotel”
We are a family with 9mos old baby and my husband's parents (They flew half of the earth to visit us) living in Karma for 4 days. We thought this hotel is the best choice to rest and hang out. But what happened to us made us feel regret to choose them, very disappointed! 1. I never can reach out of them through agoda message, what they replied to me were standard robot replies, I have to call agoda service to get their resort phone number and call them to arrange my requests. My husband wrote them emails to book the beach club, never get theri reply... 2. Inefficient communicate - like I said, no email reply, auto robot agoda reply. The worse one is I ordered airport car pick up through phone call, thought would have no problem, but when we met our driver and the car, we just realized the car is too small to take 4 adults, 1 baby car seat and 5 big suitcases, which I dedicately told them on phone that we wanted to make sure send us a big car! It turned out I sit on my husband's lap all the way to the hotel! It's ridiculous! 3. The welcome drink were poor, welcome towel were stinky, smelled moldy...their facilities are old, bath towel in our room were old too. 4. There is a temple near this hotel, they pray every 6am, 12pm and 6pm. Unfortunately, the praying music were very loud, the prayer sounds a bit scary, our 9 mos old baby and all of us were woke up by the praying every 6am, it totally ruined our relaxing holidays! I know they could not do anything of the praying, but at least they should tell us when we checked in, or even before! When the morning we heard the praying sound, we were so confused, our baby was scared with loud crying every day! 5. Their liaisons was very slow responding - they add your WhatsApp with their staff(liaisons) so that you could talk to her via msg directly. Sounds like a good idea, however, she replied very slow, wasted our time. 6. Poor organization - you might encounter no bath tower in bathroom after shower, no toothbrush and tooth

Cozy but transportation too inconvenient ”
This is my second stay here ,last time was in 2011. Not too much change taken during these years, all dimes and activity taken in the villa. Private swimming pool was nice , but the transportation with the electric car was so inconvenient, we have a long way to go n every call needs to wait 20min or more for the staff to pick up. U would like to stay here if u don’t wanna go anywhere else just stay inside the villa with family. Cos it’s far away from other attractions . Anyway, the scenery was fantastic and everyone in my family is happy to see the surroundings in villa.

Fantastic location and place , but service especially for inroom dining (for kids) and front desk , responsiveness and close communication between front desk , housekeeping have a lot of room for improvement
The resort is marvelous, nice place, but far away from city, and all the prices both rooms and foods are very expensive. Not recommended for those who likes to explore the city, very good for those who wants to relax!

The natural colour we can saw in Indian Ocean, F&Bs build up on the cliff we can taste and relax, Spa can fully covered when we facing Indian Ocean! The villa is worth we chose here! Thanks and will come back in third time future!
Villa Grand Karma”
Love this villa very much. we were not going out anywhere, just spend full stay at the villa and enjoying everything there. was staying only 1 night and not enough at all, would try to be back for next trip staying longer in this villa. totally awesome!!! small advice to management: it would be best if can serve breakfast in the villa.

One of the best hotels in Bali. We had a private bungalow. This is a cliff top venue with the most stunning views and then also its own private beach and beach bar which is accessed via a single cable car. Unfortunately it also means standing in line to go down or up, so be prepared. Although paying guests will be ushered up the line if you speak up. I certainly recommend this place

This is my second time visit Karma Kandara, even it was the first time to stay here. I booked 1 bedroom villa, given a 1 bedroom but with an additional second floor with bed and bathroom as well. great service, great view, great room, great pool, but not really enjoyed my breakfast :( The saddest part was i went there when it was raining the whole day till my check out time which i cannot enjoy my sunbath. But when i had a chance, i will stay there again. Keep it up :)
Great stay here at Karma Kandara! The private beach was to die for and the vibe from the music and live sax player was amazing! Private villa was a bit small.... from the photo's i thought it was much bigger
Simply overpriced. ”
The hotel itself located deep inside jimbaran area.. i simply do not recommend this hotel for parents with baby to stay in this hotel. When we first check in they warned us to keep our belongings inside the rooms because they have monkeys roaming around all the time. So we have to keep our room locked in all the time. If we forgot to lock the door or leave the door opened once any monkey enter they can steal your food or your mini bar and destroy all the glasses and all that we still have to pay for it. For us as parent with a baby under 1 year old it make us feel unsafe. Its also quite a ride/walk to go to the swimming pool. They can drop us with a buggy. But its simply so much hassle to do so. Once we finish swimming and wanna get back to our room. We waited 30 mins for the buggy but it didnt arrived. We kept on asking the staff but the staff in the restaurant kept on asking us to wait. How can we with a baby just finish swimming kept on waiting for more than 30 mins ? Then we decided to walk around 15 mins carrying our baby back to our room. The hotels itself is pretty old. But the big swimming pool has great view.
The worst food and unnecessary problems”
I've been reading some reviews about this villa and thought it won't be happen during my stay but apparently the same problems occurred. The main problem is the AC on the living room, and the AC on the living room isn't working at all, it's very hot and humid weather in Bali, imagine you stay in the villa without AC, they fix it over and over but only works temporarily, its very annoying as well seeing technician all over the villa repairing the AC during your stay. The other worst thing is the food, the place for breakfast has a stunning view but the food is awful, the fried rice is fishy and during my stay, I try all kind and none of the breakfast is acceptable, I also order dine in and the food also not acceptable, the pasta is very salty and the fried rice has a soggy rice (ever taste a soggy fried rice, try one in Karma Kandara). Other than broken AC and food, the view of Karma Kandara is stunning, the beach is very nice but for 5 star hotel with such price, broken AC and awful food is simply not acceptable.
