Good resort but bit pricy, breakfast could be better”

Peaceful location though most will prefer Beach Front when you visit pondy. Very well crafted resort in a calm area with few excellent wood fire pizza restaurants around. Check-in process was smooth. They have decent car parking. Rooms are very spacious with washroom itself has huge. Wet booked 3 rooms and one had broken bath tub. Every room had private terrace which was amazing. Swimming pool was decent sized.. In fact better than most of the resorts but they had put so much chlorine such that the floor was not visible at all... This lead to eye irritation for most. Breakfast - decent but not great. Good the price we pay for the room including breakfast, they must have wider and better spread. Watermelon juice was tasteless and more of water. Staffs - excellent. Customer friendly and help with a good smile Overall very good but could charge bit lesser and improve breakfast

One of the best places to stay if you plan to visit Pondicherry”

Its located slightly away from the city center but its totally worth it. We booked one of the Thai cottages and the room was squeaky clean and the view was spectacular. The property is beautiful with an amazing pool. The in-house restaurant is also decent. The morning breakfast was fresh and good. The property is pretty close to Auro and the Serenity beach which is a plus point. The check-in process could be slightly improved. Overall a memorable stay. Would love to come back again.

QUIET AND NICE PLACE ”

First I would like to start with the staff who were very friendly and willing to help. The food was really super as specially the breakfast and lunch...the swimming pool was awesome and really clean..now coming to the room which was not very satisfying cos there were insects in the bed am not sure if it's bed bugs or what cos my younger daughter had a rash on her neck, arm and face when she woke up in the middle of the night and said that something was biting her...I had to give her an allergy tablet....apart from that the trip was a very nice one..

Super Awesome Resort ”

It was awesome stay very smooth check in GM is very calm friendly Front office staff very cooperative well maintained property. day earlier we stayed in other resort we thought our trip was disaster, after checking in to this hotel we are so happy. Very nice breakfast, well maintained swimming pool friendly smiley staff will make your stay adorable thank you much Mango Hill. Achieving good result are not a big deal but maintain it is big deal.

Very Disappointing and Unclean Place. ”

Had been there with My Parents and Kids. With the weather being so hot in the month of June, the least i expected was a room with Air Conditioner. But utterly disappointed as the AC was not working and adding to that was the front desk staff's improper answer. The service staff were good atleast to update us with the actual scenario, still the front desk staff refused to acknowledge the fault and asked us to wait until it was rectified. We had to wait almost 3 hours. Fortunately was able to get their Manager and his Boss (Probably) who then allocated another room. Feel the rooms were a little dusty/unclean, me and my kid had developed allergy in the night. Finally i feel for what they charge, it is not worth it.

Pleasant stay”

I love the fact that disn’t have TV. Good getaway. Food was good but not great. As Indian I wish they had added spices to my food. The swimming pool had too much chlorine which hurts the eyes and damages the hair and the swimming pool floor was very rough. My daughter came out with bruises on her knees and elbows. The room was great, spacious, well ventilated. The bathroom was the best. Clean and spacious. The sit out was awesome. I could spend hours just sitting there. The facility was great. Breakfast was great. But it was kinda weird that they didn’t have room service or a bottle opeaner to spare. The staff was very friendly. Which is a great thing. As a whole Mango Hill was a peaceful place to get away for the weekend.

A decent place”

The property is very beautiful. However the rooms were a bit musty and service was a little slow. The restaurant food was amazing and the staff was helpful

We were in the Thai cottage facing the pool and the overall surrounding ambience was very good . However the menu choices / options in the restaurant has to increase .

Great resort for chilling out at Pondicherry”

It's a great property with a retro style and spacious and beautiful room and decor. The swimming pool in the property is very well maintained and build in such a way that even in the peak summer heat you get shade in almost half of pool. The hotel serves excellent complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. The location of the property is pretty far from Pondicherry town but if you are coming by your own vehicle it shouldn't matter much. All is all an excellent option to have fun.

The appearance of the resort & the overall cleanliness was very good. The pool is beautiful and very thoughtfully done to suit both swimming and relaxing. The food was excellent and everything was cooked fresh which is a big plus to have when you are travelling. The daytime lighting of the lobby and restaraunt area can be improved. The cushion covers in the same area need cleaning. The staff in the restaraunt seem a little confused - they are willing to help but can leave the guests confused at times. Overall - great experience, beautifully designed, lovely rooms and bath rooms, great food.

Disappointed with staff”

The staff was not professional. Had to pay extra for the laundry. Was refused room service though I had seen tea cups outside another room. The pics are different than in reality. The room was quite old type, I thought maybe it was designed that way. The bathroom had no door, the shower was very slow and no hot or cold water. Not much veg options in breakfast. OVERALL NOT HAPPY!!!

The staff were really rude and not ready to listen to the concerns. The facilities listed in the website were not available in the resort. Food was good.

Food was bad and staff was really unhelpful. Didn't understand half of the things. Language seemed to be a problem .

It was peaceful, natural and a calm place where you can get away from all the hustle and bustle. We stayed in the suite room and it was amazing. Loved the homely feeling. Def going back.
