Noisy & no private beach hotel”
There is no private beach, the cottage was old with dusty painted bricks. Noisy because our room was just beside the active road & beside the traditional food store that was opened from early morning until midnight (may be just separated with one wall from our room). At our last night stay there, we woke up 3 times during our sleep hearing very loud noise like people moving something hard & big & bumped it to our room wall, all came from that "warung". The bathroom in our 2 room cottage was only one. One thing very good was only the staff who was very kind & helpful. The restaurant choices of menu were not many. Very hard to find fresh vegetables & fruits in Ujung Genteng so it's better to bring fruits from home if we stay more than 1 night. Infrastructure in Ujung Genteng is not well prepared yet for tourists especially with those with children. Just remember to fuel up your gasoline anytime you see a gasoline station just because it's about 1 hour long drive to reach the nearest gasoline station. But in urgent case, you can buy it in a Pertamini (a tiny gasoline machine) that some of villagers sell.
