Just what we needed!”
My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights as a belated Mother's Day getaway (May, 2021). Prime location for us to jump on the 30 or 60 free loop bus and go in to town for spa treatments, supermarket and the movies. Ray was super friendly, welcoming and helpful with tips for catching the bus and parking. We left our landcruiser on site for the whole of our stay, free of charge. We stayed in a twin bed room. Clean, tidy, comfortable. A microwave would have been great but we made do. Fresh bath towels and toiletries replenished. We found it quiet despite being in the city. We be happy to stay here again. First night we got GYG ordered via Doordash, no problems at all. Driver came right up to the glass slide doors.

I booked a Queen room with ensuite to await the 'release' of my partner from hotel quarantine next door at the Pacific (he had flown from interstate, is fully vaxed & all Covid tests were negative). Ming at reception is very professional, & takes time to engage in pleasantries also. She gave us a slip to display on our dash for a car park space at the rear of the Soho at no additional cost. Our room was 16m 2, enough room for us. I requested an upstairs room on the Pacific hotel side, & was given one. There is a ramp to access the Soho from Wickham Terrace, but as previous reviews have stated there are no lifts, so you need to be able to carry luggage if requesting a higher room (we had no problem). Also note that when opening the balcony door, it slides into the wall cavity. I was able to sit on my small balcony & chat by phone with my partner to provide moral support for him. The bed is firm, there is a small fridge, complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & single milks, & you can purchase cans of soft drinks & other drinks & snacks from the fridge in reception & pay at reception. I got a great price booking on Agoda, $87 AUD for a Sunday night. Checkout is 11am so great for a sleep in. A good experience!

Great Location and team ”
I stayed for two nights after a conference in South Bank. The staff were fantastic and welcoming when I arrived. I turned up 2 hours before check-in, not expecting a room to be available; however, they worked to get me in and gave me the room early. The rooms are a little dated but don't let that put you off as they were the cleanest and tided place I have stayed. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks and hope to stay there in the future. They are right by one of the main city transport stations and across the road from the beautiful Roma Street Parkland gardens.

A Perfect In and Out Location”
The SOHO is right on the northern fringe of the Brisbane CBD, a walk from Queen Street. The rooms are clean and bright, beds comfortable. Everything needed is provided and staff are most helpful. Make sure that you bring solid photo ID and the credit card that you paid with, these things are imperative. Breakfast is served from 0630h and is cooked to order, there is no buffet offered however tea and coffee run freely as do quality juices. Enjoy as I did, I shall return.

Perfect little budget stay”
This hotel was perfect for us, it was really clean, room had a fridge, coffee etc and the bed was comfortable. We had a mate night check in which was nice and easy too. Staff were friendly when we checked out in the morning. It's very close to the Roma street station which is why we stayed there. We were both impressed with how clean and good it was for the price we paid. Would 100% recommend.

The service was amazing, the staff are absolutely beautiful and friendly. Very willing to help with anything. Oh and Milo is so adorable even though it's up to him if you get a cuddle or pat. Defiantly as a solo traveller these rooms are perfect, close to everything, great price, and clean. Thank you Soho for your amazing service

Amazing staff”
I was travelling from interstate for a wedding and had my mother with me who had been in hospital and had mobility issues. Ray arranged for a room for her to be available early so she could rest after travelling. Ray was friendly, helpful, kind and nothing was a problem. The rooms were lovely, quaint and clean. Thank you to Ray and the team for making our short stay so enjoyable

Preferred hotel in Brisbane”
I'm nervous about sharing my enthusiasm for the Soho Hotel, as I don't want it to be too popular..... I always stay at this hotel when I visit Brisbane because the rooms are reliably clean, quiet, comfortable and stylish and the helpful staff make me feel like a valued visitor. I can also get an airport shuttle from the door for $20 - very convenient. Love it!

This was our second time staying at the Soho. Just like our first stay here we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff are really friendly & helpful. The breakfast is good value for money the dinning room/restaurant is clean, good size & service is great. We will be back at the Soho again this coming Friday..

Best kept secret in Brisbane ”
The hotel is an old building and yes there are some signs of wear and tear in the rooms but they are clean and serviced everyday by lovely staff. Every room has a balcony and it is beautifully quiet. There is a free bus right outside the front door which takes you down into town. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended as long as you are not expecting the the Hilton.

I was so pleased I chose Soho. Everything was lovely and spotlessly clean. Very quiet and I felt extremely safe (female on my own). Staff are very pleasant and professional. Meals were brought to my room and they were hot! $77 for one night. I will definitely be staying there again when I travel from the Sunshine Coast.

Quiet and excellent value for money”
We stayed in room 112 back of hotel. The room was nice and clean, all amenities well kept, bed was comfortable, tea and coffee, TV decent sized and well placed to view. Great value for price paid, close to Roma St Parklands and FREE parking if available, would happily stay again.

Room was clean, freshly painted and revamped , bed lovely. They were redoing the corridor carpets when we arrived - looks very smart now. Very central to restaurants and shops. Wonderful warm welcome from front desk, they even arranged a taxi to the airport. Highly recommend

I had a great stay, and was so happy to find a clean room. You’ll find the necessary in it and, the receptionist is very helpful/sympathetic/joyful. I really recommend this hotel. It has a great location but still in a quiet area I am super picky when it comes to cleanness and this hotel is !

Pleasantly surprised”
I had read many varying reviews about this property so was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were enormously helpful and even allowed an early check in. Room was great with balcony overlooking the park. Bedding was very comfortable and furniture more than adequate even though fridge is on the small size and tea making facilities in the room. Yes parking can be an issue and spaces are limited but I was lucky to get a space and had no reason to move while staying the two nights. There is a bus (no30) right outside the front that takes you right into the city for free and runs every 15mins. This accomodation has obviously undertaken a complete refurb recently and in fact they were doing recarpeting and flooring whilst I was there. Additionally paint looks to be freshened up. I was very pleased with my stay and found it very relaxing. I consider this high standard budget accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

I don't normally white reviews, but everything about this place was excellent. Friendly staff that were a pleasure to interact with and on finding out I liked lots of coffee, delivered extra every morning. A big bowl of minties at reception that I was encouraged to liberally help myself to. Great room, great location and best of all an 11am check out, which for a night owl like myself was a major selling point. Highly recommend this accommodation.
