Disfrutamos de una habitación con vistas a toda la ciudad. Decoración original y chic. Camas estupendas. Desayuno variado y esquisito. Sin duda recomendable para una visita a Estambul o mil.

This was our first time in Istanbul. It was hard to choose but at the end this is good value for it's price. Rooms are on the small side but the view from the balcony is beautiful. For the breakfast you have to go to sister hotel 50 meters down the road and you are met with another astonishing view of Bosphorus Strait. Good public transport communications. Thank you Star Hotel team for making our stay comfortable!
It was not clean”
First they tried to send us to another hotel with an argument of that they have over booking. Secondly the rooms were not clean at all.
Good Value for Single”
If you are single, this hotel is perfect, location is very good, near metro and shopping. Only thing that the room is a bit small, so it is not fit for families.
Catastrophic condition !!!”
This hotel is situated in very convenient location. The design of the rooms is sort of extraordinary, beautiful and special but the whole properry is lack of maintainance and service. Furniture is destroyed, lamps are hanging on cables from ceiling, the door lock is malfunctionning, the door handles needs to be repaired, bed sheets have holes and the staff definitely needs to be replaiced. The staff is just lazying around, rather talking or screaming in front of the hotel or going up and down with elevator and blocking it for the usage by the guests. This hotel definitely lost its charm, it needs urgently repairs and better staff. I was so disappointed and after all those years comming I will not return back anymore. The staff charged me for extra one bed room with no bill issued :-( Shame on the management to not care. This hotel went from high standard to very low class. I dont recommend to anyone this property.
Horrible experience ”
The staff is not coperative, we have been complaining since morning of foul gutter smell in the room. They key hole has no glass and any one can peep into our room. Our room is connected to one another room which has no lock and the other room person can just come in. There is no manager on duty to whom we can complain. Irresponsible staff telling us to complain to tourism police istead of solving our problem.
Close to metro,restaurants,shopping street and easy to visit every tourists places..hotel is in the center of everywhere. Bfast was good but needed to walk to another hotel for bfast about 100m away.No Fitness in the hotel. The room was dark i couldn't make up well :)

Hotel ok. Location also good. Following are the problems:- 1. This hotel does not have a breakfast. All guests are being directed to Grand Star Hotel for breakfast. 2. Guests are not allowed to change the room temperature on their own as the Hotel Manager has strictly advised to keep all the rooms at 22 degree C. So if you feel chill at late light, then you have to close the air supply permanently and then again after an hour resume the supply to keep it at normal. so Guests will make this duty during night and hotel management will keep sleeping. Why Guests are paying for the room when they have to wake up all night to keep the room temperature normal. Straight away refusal from Lobby staff is unacceptable.

The hotel is simply horrible. We were two adults and one child aged 14. We went during spring for 12 nights. - BREAKFAST: it was verry boring and tasteless. They had a trick where the good bread and croissants were put near the closing time of the buffet so that not many people got to have. They had a big variety but was not nice. It was in another hotel!!? - ROOMS: when you first enter the room you feel like it is worth every penny but soon after many things are reveild that proove otherwise. The A/C is controlled by the reception and was set on warm- during spring- so we had to keep it offand get natural air from the window. Which then was extremely noisy at night and disgusting with all the flies that enter from the door. The toilet sink leaked, and stank like sewers. - STAFF: the receptionists were dry and of not much help. But the best staff was the cleaner for our room he was very helpful. - INTERNET: it was plain rubbish with no connection in the rooms and very slow too.

The maintenance servixe ibside tge room very poor.There are some lights near burned and i saw one near to fall down in my room and when i asked them to change the room they said will change tomorrow. Unfortunately they changed it after two nights. When i complained regarding the room they said you choosed standard room ( is it mean the standard room will keep without maintenance??) . Anyway after complain they change my room and tgey gave me good and bigger room without any more charge. Breakfast was not that good and it is same every day.
Good hotel but bad experience. ”
I booked online the standard room but when I did the payment on Agoda I got my booking voucher and it says economy room which are very very small in size. Call the Agoda customer service told the whole story and they talked to the hotel and agreed to upgrade me to standard room from the next day Free of Cost. Later hotel staff didn't agree and said they don't believe Agoda and they only accept from booking.com. At the end I end up paying $57 to upgrade the room.
the room was dirty and it was not what we asked for. we could not controlled the AC from inside our room and we should ask the reception to turn it on or to control the temperature which is very annoying. the restaurant were we had our breakfast was in other building and the reception is not the same as in the pictures.

Room was big and fantastic views of the Bosphorus. Also, just 5 mins from the happening Istiklal Ave. Reception area was chaotic and personnel were very curt but once you get through check in, everything else was great.
