24 Hour Restaurant Café , Breakfast is many dish but low quality Bacon or not . Facility under construction as pool and gym , The room inside too much dust TV was not good maintenance , Shampoo was too low quality please double check

Hotel, Staff , food (specially at breakfast ) really amazing. When it’s 11 pm and more weekend then security asked nonsense question before lift. If they can work on this then it will best place to stay just this kind of things little annoying when you tired and want to just go to room to relax and facing good amount of questions from security.

Used to be a grand hotel ”

Ashok hotel Delhi is a huge complex with lots of hotel rooms, conference rooms, shops and restaurants. It has all the facilities that are required to be a 5 star hotel. However, it is super old. The lobby look gorgeous and not much aged (maybe they just renovated it recently) but the standard room I stayed is very very old. Bed and pillows are not so comfortable but acceptable. What was very disappointed was the bath room which was super old and water that came out from the shower in the 1st 5 minutes was dusty that you can't wash anything. Breakfast was good but not enough seat. I was in Delhi for a meeting in the Diplomat area and this big hotel's location is very convenient. They have a taxi stand that can conveniently take you to anywhere but the starting fare is 200 Rupee - quite expensive when I can do the same with Uber for 70 Rupee. If in Delhi for Business and only need a hotel to sleep and not to use any of its facilities, this is a good-price hotel you could consider.

Requested luggage pick up from room three times. No one responded resulted in dragging two suitcases from room to reception. Complained only response Sorry. Very disappointed as we had a flight to catch

They can’t provide the iron , if U really push them and asked they will sent u seriously broken iron board ,and management says that’s all they have or u have to go out to iron your cloths , shower never works , sink always blocked , Ritesh from the front desk is very helpful. Hate the hotel but stayed there b coz have business to do in the area . Rooms r very outdated, not clean at all .

Excellent Location, Great Food & Courteous Staff”

I was not expecting a great trip when I was told that this is a Govt. managed hotel. however, to my surprise right from Check In to Check out, everything was smooth. I was even given an extended Late Checkout at 4 PM as i was stuck in traffic and front desk obliged me. Breakfast has good choices of all cuisines and is delicious. I would recommend the hotel as one of the finest in Delhi.

Historical Hotel in the city of Delhi”

The Ashok giving the old indian style where we enjoy so much the ambiance. The room is spacious, the breakfast is good with many variety. I will consider to stay again in Ashok if i am in Delhi again.

Somewhat aged - could use a revamp. I was more concerned that they did not have completely aligned their system with check in/check out - as such they did not register that some rooms were occupied and walked on customers unexpectedly. Otherwise it is a reasonable option if you are in need of a base in Delhi for a night or two.

Pros: We were visiting Delhi for our visa appointment. This location was 5 minutes from the us consulate and they kept our luggage during our visa interview. This was great! Cons: The travel concierge proposed a very expensive cab ride(2600 inr) we just walked out and got a rickshaw for less than inr 1000 (from hotel to consulate and back and then to the airport) Overall a good stay and I’d recommend to everyone going for a visa appointment to stay with hote Ashoka

I changed 4 rooms in one night”

Traffic of customers was huge, but staff efficiency was not as much as to be. Initially they offered me room and it was like junk yard, I complained so they shifted me to another room which was twin bed with small 2 bed so they told me they will shift me to another room once it get vacant as I was alone and bed wide was too small. After few hours I talk to front desk manager and he give me quite good room as I needed, in the night again I got call and She told me, next room has water leakage problem and they need my room to repair so they upgrade me to suite which was also good. This is my experience in this hotel. Hotel is very big, staff were old, infrastructure is also old they are renovating, Hope it will be better soon. As this is government Hotel, Things are not been maintained as it has to be. However staff were polite.

NO WIFI on HOTEL FOR 4 nights ”

Changed room three times in a 4 night stay. Still couldn't get the wifi working. one of the IT guy was saying it works on Android not on Apple phones. I let the people to decide on that comment.

Not worth the money. I was just looking to stay at this location for specific purpose but there are better hotels for cheaper that are cleaner with better hospitality and service staff at this location. I hope I dont have to stay here again.

Grand hotel tarnished by poor cleanliness & hygiene.”

Grand hotel, nice decor. But poor hygiene and cleanliness. There were small cockroaches in the room. Even when we upgraded to a suite (paid by us), same problem there too. The 1st room also had a rainshower that wasn’t working properly. Both the room and later the suite we upgraded to, had toilet bowls that appeared close to overflowing when pulled for a full flush.

Nice location, it has that feeling of old architectural grandeur about it. Staff is courteous but can be better in their handling of guests. Breakfast buffet is very good and has multiple cuisine options along with live cooking stations. The quality & taste of the food is also very nice. Overall a low budget 5 star hotel with decent scope of improvement. Ideal for people who travel for work.
