Room was way nicer than I had anticipated from reviews I read. It was expensive, but it seems like all the hotels in Houston are expensive. For the price, this was a very beautiful, comfortable and clean hotel. We were so happy to stay here. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Staff were friendly. Room amenities were good and there was a snack bar on level 2 where we bought frozen meals since we arrived too late for a dinner at a restaurant. Only suggestion would be to include some healthier options in the snack bar, I would happily have paid for some fruit. Lovely, would recommend to anyone.

very limited Breakfast!!!!”

my stay was generally ok. the hotel is ideal for very short-short stays(1-3 days max.)for long stay as am i , i was suffering from the limited varities of the breakfast , i asked someone who was working in the resturant , to add some food, byt the manger refused, therefore i stopped for about 3 days (out of 10 days) to take my breakfast.

we stayed in the hotel so that we could explore the houston downtown area. everything about the hotel was fine.

Elegant small hotel in the theater district”

A nice surprise. But a couple of points to note. The bed was big, which made the room be small. Not a lot of room to move around, so desk is quite small. I would be happy there alone for several nights, but it might have felt cramped were I traveling with a partner. Also, the only hotel parking is by valet, which adds to the bill. Self-parking is in a public garage across the street. Not much of a problem, but be ready for it. The small, intimate reputation is quite good and has a good reputation among the locals, I learned.

room is a little small and also bed but the decoration is lovely. Staff is very helpful and communication is clear.

Character hotel in great downtown position”

I thoughly emjoyed my short (one night) stay at the Lancaster. As soon as you walk in you get a feel of the period charm that is throughout the whole hotel. The reception staff were friendly and granted a late check out with no fuss (or charge). My romm (705)was very spacious, clean and had everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable. The furniture was not brand new, but this was in keeping with the overall feel of the hotel. If you are looking for somewhere with al the latest fittings and furniture - then this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel with some character then you will enjoy your stay here.

Great location but small rooms”

The hotel is a bit old and dated; the facilities definitely need some updating and face-lifting. The room is a bit small and the layout is also a bit poor; e.g., a small dresser is located inside of the closet. However, the staff and service are good; shuttle was provided for the downtown area, and daily treats were provided. Unless you're there for business, there isn't much to do or around the downtown area after dark; it is just Houston, and can't blame the hotel.

新しくはありませんが内装がとても素敵なホテルでした。 １階レストランで食べたコンチネンタル形式の朝食も美味しくいただきました。 近くにコンビニエンスストアやマーケットが少なく、少し離れたショップも9時で閉まりますので、飲み物などは早めに調達することをお薦めします。 アストロズの球場も近くＭＬＢシーズンにまた来たいと思います。

ダウンタウンの真ん中で何かにつけ便利でした”

ダウンタウンの真ん中で、オペラ座・シアターに近く帰りの心配なく遅くまで楽しむことが出来た。レストランは周りに多いが、買物には不便（周りにコンビに・スーパー等がない） 部屋も文句なしに素晴らしいが、冷蔵庫が無いのが欠点。
