Great location with everything you need”
Excellent location, and especially impressed with how quiet my room was considered. A couple of small things - paint peeling and walls looking a bit worse for wear in the corridor, only one milk in the fridge when there were two cups - got my attention. Bed was comfortable, perhaps a bit too soft, but perfect for what was needed. The $5 food and beverage credit if you don’t get a housekeeping service was a nice touch I thought, especially as someone who rarely bothers to get these services on a two night stay but who always needs a coffee. Will return, definitely.

The hotel is located strategically on Little Collins Street, surrounded by many lanes of shops and cafes to walk around. It is also close to Flinders Station and Skybus pickup/drop off point, which makes travelling to and from the Airport very convenient. Hotel staff is very friendly and rooms are clean as well. Equipped with free WiFi and hair dryer. There's a short stairway along the corridor leading to our rooms but it's not a problem for me and my friend because our luggages are not extremely heavy that we can't lift it up for the few steps. Highly recommended place.

Great for City break”
We have just stayed a night at The Vic (my third time) and have always thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and quiet with lovely and efficient check in staff to greet you on arrival. On checking out you can also leave luggage in the storeroom whilst filling in the day till departure which is great. Happy hour drinks at the MM Bar/Restaurant were great and $10 for a cocktail special was excellent. The $18 lunch special was also fantastic with several dishes to choose from plus a glass of wine or beer was enjoyed before we left the city for home. We will definitely be back!!!!

The Victoria Hotel in Melbourne is a great place to stay. The staff are always helpful, rooms are very clean and quiet, and have everything you could want for a comfortable, easy stay. Beautiful paintings are on the walls and there's a small gym and pool as well.

We always stay at the Victoria Hotel when we come into Melbourne. The rooms are spacious, always clean and the pool and spa are a must on our stay. Staff is always friendly, especially Sarah who assisted us on our latest stay, Definitely will be returning again.

Beautiful Hotel”
It's only for one night, so I chose this hotel based on the price and review. I thought the first impression was that it was an old hotel, but nevertheless, I felt that it was a very well-managed building from the hallway. Old doesn't just mean old, but I felt classic and cool. I had everything I needed and the size of the room was satisfactory. If you have to find fault with it, the hair dryer is too small for long hair.

Good service, good location, very safe, good value for money. very clean and quiet. Also they let me check-in in the early morning and no charge for luggage storage after check-out. Highly recommend.

Clean, Convenient and Classy”
Beautiful hotel with thoughtfully set out rooms. We had plenty of space for two adults and two children in a family room. The fresh buffet breakfast had plenty of variety to please most tastes. The Victoria Hotel was close to a (free) tram stop and other local points of interest were all within walking distance I.e the theatres, Melbourne Goal

Kids love it because it was close to all the shops. Sadly no breakfast in bed n the restaurant was close bcuz of COVID-19. Pool a bit small, room was clean n the staff was friendly.

Perfect Location”
I would like to give 100 points for this perfect hotel. In the city center and walking distance to everywhere popular in the city and tram to the beach. Shopping and eating both near the hotel. The facilities are really new in the room and reception. I feel better than some 5-star hotels in Sydney. I really really wan to come back again.

Couldn’t want for more! Great location near cross (Swanston St/ Bourke St) trams. Next door to an excellent coffee bar but also close to shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were fabulous and were able to address our queries and requests. We were lucky enough to have a room available on early checkin and have a complimentary late checkout. Our bags were then held in a secure room ( no cost unlike an earlier review) We had a large quiet clean room. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

Stayed here during a lockdown. Huge rooms. Staff were really helpful and friendly! Clean. Close to everything! Will definitely return! Wish we’d got to use the facilities but from what I saw they were good! The bar and sitting area above reception a really nice spot! Highly recommend!

FANTASTIC”
I LOVE THIS HOTEL, it’s convenient and it’s in the city. Of course I was skeptic so since it’s a little pricy for a day but definitely a go if you guys compared it with the transport price and such. Go for it this is the best.. definitely coming back to this place
