Weekend getaway from mumbai”
Searching for 2 nights getaway from Mumbai. Alibaug is perfect choice and u tropicana is the perfect hotel to stay with world class resort amenities . But the only drawback is location of the hotel which is 10 kms far away from.alibaug beach.

Very good property”
We stayed at U Tropicana for 2 nights and 3 days. Best part was that we were upgraded to Villa and it was just wonderful. The property is nicely maintained, staff is polite and cordial. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The in-house dining is very expensive with limited options. The resort has some very good organic soaps and trust me they were mind blowing. Overall a very good and happy stay

Cleanliness need to improve. Service need to improve. Grinding machine in the kitchen was on in the night and morning made so much noise didn't allow my family to sleep well.

Good buffet breakfast but other things were let down”
Breakfast buffet was good Main course ordered separately was not up to the mark, we had to return the full bowl of sabzi which had only tomato gravy, too tangy for anyone to eat (yes they didn’t charge extra) (very very expensive against the quantity, especially the soups) Bed was very uncomfortable (215 room) worst ever experience Good list of activities to engage guests but not useful like cycles were in poor condition Tap not functioning properly (hope someone checks all this) Too many lizards around Staff behaviour was very good & polite Wouldn’t recommend anyone for the price we paid,there were other options on other websites but looking at “U tropicana” websites presentation and images we selected this one.

Nice property - About 3-4 kms from the beach though”
If you are not looking at something right by the beach or close to it then this could be a good option.Property is nice and clean with a no. of amenities.spa service was quite professional and a rejuvenating experience.

It is close to Kihim beach and only good property around the area.”
We had requested for early checkin and as rooms were not ready they were thoughtful enough to give us another room in villa property, shower in open air was highlight of villa rooms. Private pool also is quite nice. Food is just ok and not value for money. We ate mostly veg as non- veg was not so good.. they have good spread for breakfast.

This was our first stay and we were not disappointed! Exceptional service and staff are wonderful, attentive and charming. Our stay was faultless with a beautifully furnished and well appointed room, delicious breakfast, and relaxed atmosphere in the lounge and thoughtful 'little extras' at turndown. We stayed at U Tropicana for 2nights. Had a great time. Breakfast is awesome with a wide variety. The Lunch buffet and food ordered at the room were not that great. The rooms are very spacious and clean. All rooms overlook the pool, which is great. The swimming pool was a delight. However the only problem are the roads connecting to the resort, it's in a very bad condition. If you are looking for complete relaxation, with family, U Tropicana is the best place to be!

The place looked recently done up and had lots of new staff, clearly making efforts to give guest a good experience. We had a family room with extra bed and it was large and spacious. The bar, is beautifully done and is a nice plave to hang out in the evening... Would recommend highly....

It's a really really good place to stay... The good part is that the rooms are really well thought out. Good space in the rooms. The bed is really good and it's big.. I hope all resorts have such comfortable beds The staff is really well spoken and they take care of you really well. The property itself is well maintained, very clean, and has holiday vibes.. Well stocked bar and a great restaurant .. Though at breakfast time it seemed a but small when all the guests came down for breakfast. The breakfast was good but somehow they just couldn't handle the traffic. Other wise all good. Close to kihim beach. But definitely far from alibagh Beach. You need your own vehicle. All in all a really good stay

Misleading & non cooperative”
Their hotel lines are always engaged, they do not take tariff enquires seriously which is why I had to book through a third party website. any requests made to the hotel are not fulfilled due to miscommunication. Overall a very laid-back and unapologetic staff.

Luxurious Resort but not value for money”
I stayed at U Tropicana on my Wedding Anniversary and it was very calm and luxurious. But the things that turned me off was the treatment at Reception while checking in at hotel. There was no welcome drink provided on arrival even though the same was given to other guests. Secondly, we were made to walk carrying our own heavy backpack in afternoon. Whereas other guest were dropped to their room in the same villa that we were staying in their in-house vehicle. I expected a better hospitality for the money they charge. Anyways rest everything was great.

Had a good stay but some upkeep required . ”
Stayed there with my family occupied 4 rooms from 02nd Sept to 03rd Sept . (101,102,106,107) Stay was good ,clean rooms and will keep coming back, but the facilities requires upkeep , The dustbin in the room pedal was not working,the tiles were cracked in the room , Tables tennis court did not have ball and rackets , The carromboard had a dent in .
