Cute cabanas but sited well away from town, bad wifi and tiny beds”
The cabanas themselves are great - really clean and cute in a little cluster. Bar onsite is handy too.
Wifi very weak and not available in room (this is a problem most places in Mexico)
Beach is only a 5 minute walk but it is a solid 10 - 15 minute walk to the Main Street in town where all the action is. Cabanas very isolated down a dirt road and although the town feels safe walking down deserted roads late at night is a bit scary and local taxi drivers want to slug you 40 pesos to take you there at night from town.
Bed was tiny. Seriously. It's a double not even a queen. We are 2 thin people but we were crammed in together and the beds are short. At 174cm my feet touched the end. Worse is that because the bed is so tiny you basically cannot use the mosquito net as it means both people have the net pressed up against their skin on the side of the bed so you get bitten anyway. Plus on such a tiny bed with the mozzie net down it's an unbearable claustrophobic feeling. Bed really is only suitable for one person. It's so hot in the area that two people crammed against each other in a tiny bed feel overbearingly hot all night. So you have to forego the net and take the mozzies which are ample.
There is a light right outside the window which is on all night and the white curtain did not block the light at all
