I stay here for 3days with my friend. cabin hibiss is wonderful place for traveler. clean facilities, short distance from international street and very very kind storekeeper. if I have a chance to visit okinawa again, I'll stay here one more time!

i stayed superior one. there was a locker in front of my bed. so i felt safe and relaxation. good location also. No one does bothering at night time and All I met people who stayed hibiss were super kind(almost japanese) If there is anything to be desired, I was a little shocked about shower room doesn't have lock device. If this problem solved, it will be perfect!

A neat and clean capsule hostel, convenient location,considering the price, it's very good. every capsule has its own door and small window, keeps it private and quiet. There is no kitchen and common area to let you warm up your own food and sit in. Well, they do let you use the cafe downstairs for free while it's open, but it feels wired sitting in the cafe without ordering a drink and just eat your outside food. Overall, it's a good place to stay for backpackers who like to eat outside.

Clean and comfortable bedsheet, locker will be provided for small baggage, cheap price, walk for 5 mins to the Main Street and 10 mins for Makishi. The staff are friendly but they don't speech much English, a bit hard for communication.

Better than expected.”

It was my first time traveling alone and I was hesitant to book a bed in a dorm room. However, it turned out better than expected. Check-in is at the restaurant next to the hostel and the owner is quite nice. The bed I received was bigger than I expected and it was that it came with it's own little door to separate it from the rest of the room. The only compliant I had was with the other travelers but of course, the hostel can't help with that. I would probably stay here again. (also the Pokemon Center is near and it's a must visit)

Incredible for the price, great sleep, but not very social”

+ Good location + Incredibly cheap! + Towels (big and small) included + Big hot shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner + Closing the door/window made the capsule almost pitch black and very quiet + Small "window" high on the capsule wall to allow in light/air but keep privacy + Decent sized locker (by the street entry, not in the room) - No common area - Staff were almost non-existent - Closing the window/door of the capsule made it very hot - Opening the window/door let in light/noise (so bring earplugs and an eye mask!) - No way to turn off the light at night, so bright

Smells bad.”

The toilet room and shower room smell bad. It makes the whole dorm room stink. They really need to deep clean the bed pods. There were dried boogers on the walls and someone's old gum stuck in the reading lamp. But the bed sheets and pillow were clean and soft. Internet was fast. Breakfast was spam sushi. Had every amenity I needed: phone charger in bed, locker big enough for 40 liter backpack, internet, western toilet, towel, hot shower with a dry area to hang my towel, washing and drying laundry machines. But you have to brush your teeth and do laundry outdoors. And it was cold and rainy.

Downside is that security and lacking common room to relax and chill. This hostel was starting remodeling right before I check out. Sadly my good walking shoes were stolen, recommend to put your shoes in your lock or bring to your bed that has lock with it.

Hostel is located near Makishi Yui Rail Station and Kokusai Dori. (around 5 minutes walk) The room is clean and private. There are 1 toilet and 1 bathroom for all guests. The bathroom is very small. Staff can't speak English, but he tries to help me. Free luggage storage is available before check-in time.

It's a good choice for backpackers. Even though you can't eat in the room, you can stay in the cafe and talk with others. The host welcomes everyone passionately.

Very nice experience in this hostel! nice location and kind staff, the boss is funny and he doesn't know Chinese and English, he tried to communicate with google translate! Something more, they provide free breakfast but it seems that they don't tell every guest, ask if you need!

Great stay in Okinawa for solo traveler”

A home away from home. Staff here are very warm and kind. The room is very clean and comfortable . I had a very great stay here.
