Great value with access to the beach”
We enjoyed our stay at the Cactus Inn. Even though it was during rainy season, It rained twice the week we were there and left the air cool and breezy. We loved that since it kept the wind kept the mosquitoes away too! The staff were so helpful and welcoming, and Gaga their dog was awesome. The restaurant attached to their inn was packed every day, and the food was delicious and affordable. We could not have asked for a better experience in Langkawi - thank you Cactus Inn!

Cozy and cute place, away from noise, loved the concept!”
Even though there was construction project beside, it was not so noticeable. It was quiet during night time (I am a light sleeper). I like the environment there but I can imagine how good it is before the construction next door. Too bad there are quite some big hotels projects in Langkawi. The room is simple yet provide all you need-- AC, fan, kettle, hair dryer, fridge, small safety box, space to hang clothes. Toiletries (only body shampoo provided) but it is not a big deal. Cactus restaurant is just beside and the food is quite nice. Near to Tengah Beach (which is quiet compare to Cenang Beach).

Great value! Wonderful staff and owner!”
The hotel has few rooms and sits off a main road so we found the room to be very quiet at night. This rooms are basic yet ample and provide all you need-- large comfortable bed, AC, kettle with coffee packets, fridge, space to hang clothes, ample bathroom. The owner, Lip, as well as his staff were very attentive and could not have been kinder. They will provide a bike if you need one, for free. There were several benefits to staying here; the beach is a five minute walk away, as well as restaurants and shops. It is well located without being in the most touristy areas. The restaurant Cactus is beside the hotel, which provides fabulous local food with fresh fish served everyday. Ask for Fiqah, who works there, to recommend the best dishes for the day. She will stear you and trust her recommendations. You won't be disappointed! We found above all the attention of the staff to be exceptional. I highly recommend Cactus Inn as well as the adjacent restaurant as a wonderful value option.

Highly Recommended”
Very highly recommended, both Cactus Inn and the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and always be there for you. We had all our questions answered instantly even before we arrived, all of our requests were well taken care of. The inn was just about 5 minutes walk from Pantai Tengha. The restaurant has a good vibe, they even cooked us some veggie we bought from the market without extra charge. Lip, thank you again for having us at Cactus Inn.

Excellent cute place”
Exactly same as the photo shows. Beach is just few minutes down the road. You get three good Indian restaurants in the vicinity of Cactus Inn. For vegetarians, it is the best place to be in. Clean rooms, very cooperative and caring people. Recommended for people who don't want to spend unnecessary money on luxurious rooms, but want a quiet and calm place to stay and sleep. It has a good sea food restaurant but for vegetarian food you need to walk to the nearby Indian restaurants. It is just opposite to the entry gate of Holiday Villa, its a small board showing Cactus Restaurant and is just on the road. Would like to stay again. Was there for three nights.

Nice and comfortable place to stay”
Cactus Inn is a superb clean and comfortable place to stay in. Staff are very friendly and helpful when we need help to arrange for snorkelling trip. Cactus Cafe that is just right beside the Inn has some great food. You can have your breakfast over there as they have many selections to choose from. I would definitely love to stay at Cactus Inn again the next time I visit Langkawi.

Good value for money”
Cactus inn may not look fancy on the outside but the rooms are clean well maintained and plenty of room inside the shower, toilet area. It’s very good value for your money. It’s location is close to numerous services including motor bike hire , car hire , small supermarkets , restaurants and the cactus restaurant is located at the front of the cactus inn only metres away from your accommodation. No need to travel to Far from your room to eat. Room number nine is a family unit with everything you and / or a family could need.

Mr Lip is an extremely hospitable. His staff are also very friendly. Cactus Inn serves delicious food and their service is impeccable. The atmosphere at Cactus Inn is casual, relaxed and friendly. We will definitely check in to Cactus Inn on our next visit to Langkawi and will recommend anyone who's looking for a pleasant stay.

Great as Always”
Stayed here before, and will always do so when I travel to Langkawi. Value for money. Very basic facilities, and that's all I need for my travel. Location is at Pantai Tengah, next to restaurants and bars. A 10 min walk from Pantai Cenang. Bliss!!

Great Value, Outstanding Service”
The Cactus Inn delivers quality accommodation at an affordable price. If you're after a resort stay with pool, bar and beach-side location this is not for you. However we were made to feel extremely welcome during our 2 night stay & thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation & brilliant Cactus restaurant. Make use of the 10 RM taxi rank across the road & you'll be at the main beach in 5 minutes. Highly recommended!

Super clean”
Rooms are very clean and have all the basic facilities. Tangah beach can be accessed within 10 min and is less crowded when compared to cenang beach. Taxi (rm10) is available right opposite to cactus at holiday villa anytime. Cactus restaurant serves delicious local food and is very reasonably priced. Overall a great place to stay for what we paid.

overall ok. staff is so kind to upgrade our room to family room ever we only have 2 people (low season). Cons.. due to beside of Cactus inn had construction & raining seasons, the road go into the Inn is very bad.

Amazing to spend your time in cactus ”
It was my 2nd stay at cactus inn. Both of us enjoyed our time. We felt like,we are at our home. A wonderful person Mr. Lip and his lady Miss Liew. They were most friendly host I have ever seen. I wish a very good luck for the cactus team and expect to come back again and again.

2nd Visit”
I loved my 1st stay at Cactus Inn back in Jan 2019. Naturally, I was happy to return in Aug. I was given a different room and it was good to be back. Unfortunately, I had a loud and inconsiderate neighbour. When I highlighted this to Ms Liew, she didn't hesitate to move (and upgrade) me to their family room, and I enjoyed the rest of my stay. For that, I'm very grateful. I couldn't ask for a more perfect location - central enough, yet quiet and away from the crowds. The beach is a 5 min walk away. Cactus restaurant continues to serve good food and their staff, friendly. Just to highlight the following to the management (Room 9) 1) 2nd bathroom's sink doesn't work 2) Lighting could be improved - either too dim or not strategically placed 3) Not enough plug points I've grown fond of Cactus Inn, and will most likely stay here during my next visit.

Would def stay here again”
Not a 5-star hotel but I totally enjoyed my stay. Decent clean room with a hot shower & very comfy beds, AC & fan available so that's all we need. Had to take a star off for the ants from the basin, which I think is part & parcel for staying in a tropical island but my friend wasn't too pleased.. Very chill & relaxing meal time at the Cactus restaurant, totally what I'd expect/wanted for this kind of trip. Prices are tourist prices but nothing too over the top. The food was much better than I'd expect so def exceeded my expectations. All staff are friendly & helpful, no grumpy faces seen Overall I'm very satisfied and would stay here again!

The room was clean and cosy. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Given that the area around the inn was rather secluded, the cactus inn restaurant within the premises made it easy and convenient for us to have our meals. A short walk to pantai tegah beach, we were overall very satisfied with our stay! Will be back for sure! :)

A delightful stay ”
My friend and I had fun staying here - not only they let us check in earlier than the stated time , they also approved our request to extend our check out time as our flight was later in the day . The staffs were also really sweet and helpful . Minor renovations around like repainting the door , replacing the door knob and upgrading the front area would make the place extra beautiful and comfy . Nevertheless , my friend and I would definitely come back to stay in Cactus Inn on our next trip to Langkawi .

Just right”
It might be hard to locate as first as it was just opposit Holiday Villa hotel and behind Cactus restaurant. Although there are construction site beside, the noise is not noticeable throughout our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is near to beach. You can order some food at Cactus Restaurant which is yummy and they will even send to your room. The check-in and check-out are fast.

Unique & comfortable”
Love the room that's very clean, updated and thought through. Beach is across the road and the nearest restaurant is about 10 mins away unless you eat at the Cactus Inn. Wasn't sure of the 'Halal' status so we looked elsewhere for food. Owner is kind and attentive. Good if you just want a room with no amneties.
