Dalat Note Hostel has the friendliest and most helpful staff, I met on my southeast asia trip! They do their best, that everyone feels cosy and happy and have a smile on their face all the time! The breakfast was very nice as well, it's possible to choose from 4 different options! We could rent motorbikes from the hostel and reserve our bus from there as well. The family dinner, we ate twice was excellent and only 50000 Dong for all you can eat. The price of 4$ per night is absolutely amazing for what you get there! Would go back to this place to stay and recommend it very much!😉

My friend and I booked one night in Lam Vien Home Stay and it was a wonderful experience. The room is big and the bed very comfortable. delicious breakfast and fresh coffee prepared to start the day. The host family is very hospitable. they helped me iron my clothes, prepared dessert when I am back. They helped us book the bus ticket. When we checked out, we rushed to catch the bus, and my friend left two clothes in the bathroom, Ms. Lam Vien even ordered a motorbike and brought the clothes to us right before our bus left. I would recommend Lam Vien Home Stay to everyone and they are no doubt the family worths respect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Great hotel with amazing owner! It is situated at very calm place 15 minutes walk from night market. Clean,very hot shower. The owner is one of the nicest people we have met in vietnam! We stayed here for 2 nights. The breakfast was included in price but she made for all the guests big dinner for free as well with 3 kind of meals!!! Very, very unfriendly (no english speaking) stuff. We booked a room with breakfast and they wanted to let us pay for it. The room was simple but good, bed ok and shower was fine (most of the time). Clean service everyday wich you don’t expect for this price. The laundryservice was cheap but they return the laundry wet so you have to hang your clothes all over the room to dry. I think there are better places on better location then this one.

This hostel is misleading in name because it is an exceptionally nice mini-hotel. It overlooks a small creek and locates 100m away from the main street (Phan Dinh Phung). The rooms are bright, airy, and comfortable. It is very accessible to excellent local restaurants and 10-min walk toward the city center (Da Lat market and the lake). The husband-wife team manages a friendly, quiet, and comfortable property. My group (5 travelers) rented a family room (4 bunk beds) and a double room. The kids loved the bunk beds. The location of this hotel is excellent, with many restaurants nearby. There is also many stands with a street foods. City center is in walking distance. Hotel is new and very well maintained. The room was large and clean with nice furniture, the bed comfortable, the bathroom with beautiful ceramic tiles, clean and well kept, the hot water worked. There was a refrigerator, flat screen TV with good selection of cable channels and fast speed Wi-Fi so you can watch stream video from the Internet. The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and spoke good English. They helped to arrange bus tickets to Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Rang. This hotel is a very good value for the money. I will stay there again in the future while in Dalat.

I stayed here for 3 nights, and it is a pretty good price to get a cozy room with a private toilet which is very clean and comfortable! The location is also nice, in the city center, I can walk to many places. The most important thing I want to say is about the service, 5 stars! Quynh Anh can speak perfect English, even she is not here, when I have any questions she will reply me very quickly on WhatsApp. Her Dad and Mom are so kind and helpful, I will book here next time definitely if I back to Dalat!

The hosts make this the best option when visiting dalat!!!! No trip is complete without an easy rider excursion and these are the original people! The room was nothing special but it worked fine for us for three days. The bathroom is shared but it was clean all the time. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre/lake if you plan to explore...only about 15 mins. The host was so accommodating allowing us to check in at 7 am! They also fed us dinner on the last day and offered to let us rest before our night bus after we checked out. The nicest people we have met on our trip and we learned so much about the country. Thank you guys!

We had a family room in the hotel, the room was great. Spacious, clean with a tv and fridge. When we got to Da Lat the weather wasn't great and it was actually quite cold. Thankfully, the hotel supplied winter blankets to keep you warm. The hotel is a little out of town and requires a long walk/taxi into the centre of town. There isn't much around in terms of restaurants though there are a few nice cafes around. The taxi costs no more than 5USDs to get to the centre. The staff were really friendly. They didn't speak the best English but we managed to get by. They pointed out one of the best cafes we visited in Asia and gave me my first taste of Durian, though I'm not sure this is a positive. The room was great value and despite being a little out of town I would be happy to stay there again!

Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The thing that made this hotel stand out was the staff, the lady running it who also runs another set of villas was incredibly friendly and keen to help. She did multiple things to make our stay easier and more enjoyable including giving us extra bottles of water, letting us check out late and liasing with Vietnamese bus and taxi drivers. Absolutely excellent service, makes you feel very at home.

The hotel information said they have airport shuttle and i order that when i booked the room. But, no one came to the airport to pick me up. When i contacted them, they told me to just get a taxi and pay for it, myself. On my first night (of 3 nights) my shower head was broken and i asked the staff to fix it. 2 days later they still hadn't fixed it so i had no proper shower for 2 days. I asked several times for them to fix it but they always said they were too busy (but, every time i saw them, they were just sitting and playing games on their computer, so not busy, at all. They just didn't care.) Finally, i decided to check out because i had no working shower for almost 3 days, and i asked for some discount on my room because i had no workworking shower and they hadn't tried to fix it. But, they still insisted that i pay full price, no discount!

The best hotel we stayed for our 11days south Vietnam trip. The staff, the environment and the room will definitely make you feel like home. The only two cons are the hotel located a little bit far from the town area and there are only a little bit choices for breakfast. Although the hotel located far from town area, you can still ask for the staff to call up a cab for you or you might walk by yourselves. If by foot, from the hotel is just like 30mins walk and you can try out the street food along the street. Overall, I would give this hotel a 5 stars.

Ok so lets get one thing straight, do not book this place if you are expecting to turn up and find yourself surrounded by picturesque mountain views, pine trees and tranquility. I am not going to sugarcoat it, I got quite a shock when I arrived here for my first trip to Dalat, expecting just that. This is a cheap budget option and is in fact situated on a very busy main road. However, as budget options go Mimosa is a goodun; hot showers, in-room cable TV and wifi all included. Plus a very sweet lady and old man to happily fill up the communal kettle should you feel the urge to make a pot of the famous Dalat artichoke tea. The picturesque mountain views, pine trees and tranquility are all close by on foot and even closer by on scooter. Dalat itself is definitely worth a visit, be sure to check out the market and eat lots of delicious veggie food. If you want to see the 'real' Dalat then this could also be the place for you. Upstairs from Mimosa is a popular 'Massage Parlor' which is regularly frequented during the night. During your stay you will undoubtedly bump into some ladies wearing noticeably short skirts on the stairway. Next door to Mimosa/brothel there is a bar which is popular with the locals and can also be a bit noisy at night. For some this could all sound like a worst nightmare, personally I found the situation quite amusing and I never felt unsafe. Ironically, something about this place had a sweet, homely feel. Sometimes it is nice to get a glimpse into the real Vietnam, not the super polished, touristic 'traditional' Vietnam that is generally on show.
