"The location on a hillside overlooking the bay is picturesque, the cove studded with boulders the 34 rooms are built around. The food was very good, esp. the stir fried okra, vinegar salad and cobia filet. A bunch of kitschy touches, like a pink flamingos and swings, wings and hammocks at the water. $60 a night for a basic wooden bungalow -- small with a tiny porch -- was surprisingly high. Nice view of the bay, but the flooring burned your feet in the afternoon sun. Interesting bathroom with a boulder in the middle of it, but the construction is shoddy, including bumping your head on the roof overhand on the top step. No tea or coffee, or anything in the fridge, and the hotel adds to the pollution problem with little plastic water bottles. In September the water's almost hot; it's turbid with fuzzy visibility for a few feet at best. The bay has a lot of industry and fishing villages, so the water ain't clean, if your plan was snorkeling or serious swimming. Floating bar is great. "

"We traveled with my son - 5 years old. This is a beautiful place with sea view room. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is simple. But we had a big problem to go inside the hotel when the bridge that is connected from main route to resort was broken by storm. The resort arranged the car pickup after the temporary bridge and transit to resort. However, this is free only when check -in and check - out only. If you travel to there by your car, you will leave your car at the temporary bridge with parking fee. Overall, if without the problem of the bridge, that resort is a great place for relaxing and vacation."

"Good stay overall, the food was delicious and the beach is quite nice. The shower was definitely on the cold side and they didn't clean the room during my stay, but overall It was a great place to relax."
