    Excellent Resort for Families”

    Beach, Amenities and Staff

My family really enjoyed our stay at Camaya. I didn't expect much because of the reviews I've read due to its location. Yes it is far, it is not Batangas after all. It took us 6 hours to get there but that's because we it was our first time to go to North and we had A LOT of stops. BUT the drive was all worth it. Bataan is beautiful, we loved the scenery and Camaya was every bit worth the long drive. Beach was beautiful, they had a lot of activities for the kids. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very accommodating and polite. No extra charges for towels and you get to do a lot of activities free. Food was also great, reasonably priced with huge servings. At night they have someone performing live. Very good dining experience. My kids loved the place and we are definitely coming back!

    amazing experience!”

customer service, cleanliness and guest friendly

first off, a resounding shout out to the front office manager, for making us all feel "family!" my family and i (all 11 of us) stayed at camaya 11/29-11/30 and had the most amazing experience. i always read reviews and base my bookings on reviews and recommendations, camaya did not fail us! the staff from the grounds folks, to front and back offices are just wonderful! i definitely recommend the place and go back when i visit again. whatever small shortcomings was immediately corrected and that made it more special. he never made any excuses instead he made a promise and corrective measure were immediately implemented. overall, our stay was short but well worth the trip. i give this place an excellent mark from cleanliness, politeness, service, food and last but never the least the place is what i can call "paradise on earth!" thank you the entire staff of camaya for making our stay a memorable one!

Perfect escape from the busy city”

Beach, Sunset, Friendly and Accommodating Staff

The location is quite far but worth it. The beach is incredible and we definitely like the fine white sand. The room is clean and comfortable. All appliances are working fine. The pools are good though there are still some amenities that are under construction. Serving time in the restaurant took a little while. I recommend that you place advance order if you don't want to wait for some time. I hope guests can bring in food. Not all food (no chips and few options of drinks) are available inside the resort. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Check in and out didn't take too much time. Will definitely go back to this resort. I hope the next time we visit, all constructions are complete and better if there will a be a direct ferry ride from Manila to Camaya.

    Camaya Coast”

Very nice classy hotel rooms, very friendly and courteous staff, quiet and peaceful resort

We stayed overnight, middle of the week. It was fantastic! It's like we have the entire cove to ourselves! We barely see other hotel guests. So peaceful and relaxing. The room is elegantly designed and is very clean. Quite spacious as well. Comparable to 5 star hotels in Metro Manila. Food tastes good, although it's not at "hot" as you'd ideally want it to be. Facilities are well maintained. And the staff are equally fantastic! Very accommodating, excellent customer service, very respectful and delightful. The beach faces the west so it's got a beautiful sunset. The water is warm and calm. And from the sea, you have an amazing view of the mountain. It's not everyday you would come across a resort such as this. relatively close to Manila. Would definitely return here and would highly recommend to everyone.

    The food is too expensive.”

    Nice beach and pool area

The beach and the pool area are great. Some food in the menu are not available. They sell soda, no fruit juice. The staff in the restaurant are too slow. Very poor when it comes to services. I ordered halo halo and it tooks 15mins to served. When i check out in the hotel they charged me again the food that we ate last night. I told to the front desk that i paid already that night, and they asking me the receipt, the staff in the restaurant did not give receipt. So, i told to the front desk that better to talk to the restaurant and check that i paid already the bill. Im so dissapointed to the hotel staff. The resort are good but the staff are so slow... I think you need train your staff...

a not so good stay on the resort”

the infinity pool and the room

Our stay at the camaya coast was not so good.we enjoyed our stay because we seeked our own little ways to enjoy.but we didnt enjoy the amenities which the resort is offering "daw".no water activities..no bonfire..limited time of hotel service..not allowing us to bathe on the beach..many restrictions..inconsistency of staff's info to customers..poor practice of customer relation..these made our stay such a disaster.adding up da long ride to the resort.and an additional charge to ride on the resort service.we asked consideration from the receptionist regarding the bonfire just to enjoy our last night stay.but instead of explaining that they cannot provide what we were requesting, she commanded the security to explain on us.the security who were not directly their employees and merely from an agency and who were not supposed to represent the policy of the resort.we have written everything on the comments and suggestions but i dont think it was handed to the office of camaya.nevertheless,we are giving the credits to the f&b manager who approached us.but we paid at the exact amount they charged on us.but it was not worth our pay..

    Nice Beach ...”

The beach, the beach and the beach

The staff is friendly. Punctuality is always a problem in the Philippines but if you want to run a hotel and cater to international visitors you have to do what you agree to do when you say you do it. If you promise a pick up at 7:30 in the morning at the parking lot it should not be 8:00. Knowing it will be 8:00 you should inform your guest during breakfast and not tell them at 7:40 that it will be another 10 minutes. When the message is supposed to be at 5:00 it should be communicated that it will be late and not assume it being okay to start at 5:30. The selection of food is very Filipino which is great for most visitors. If you are a vegetarian it is difficult and you have to ask for special service. In the end the chef must have changed during the week because the food became noticeably better on the last two nights. I loved the beach for my work out in the early mornings but the burning of vegetation in the neighbourhood at around 6am spoiled the experience. I will most likely come back even though my drive to work is about 40 minutes down the hill to Mariveles but the drive is nice and there are no better options in the area. Like I said, the staff is very nice and with some better management and training this could be a great place. Getting your towels replaced should not require a request. Having butter available at breakfast should not require much planning. It should be a standard.

    the view

Its my first time and its going to be our last time. Unsatisfied with the service, no elevator and the only restaurant they have is very expensive. Food orders not on time, it takes 1 hour just to eat. At night, theres not enough activities for the kids and for the adults. We have to wait 30-1 hour for them to clean the room and checked in. They said 2pm check in but when we check at 2pm they said not done cleaning. No communications between the staff. Somebody said amenities and mini bars are free but when we checked out they said we have to pay for it. Camaya need to put out a lot of signs going out and going in because it takes 30-1 hour just to get out to main gate.

    Too far to travel to”

Room cleanliness, cool aircondioner, Free wifi

There's nothing to do there. The beach is clean and the water is warm. Food is outrageously expensive and the choices are limited. There are no activities available except swimming and biking. It takes more than 4 hours to reach by land unless one drives like a race car driver along the well-paved, wide Roman highway. The rooms have poor soundproofing as one can hear people from outside. It's a pity because it could be a good alternative vacation go to aside from Batangas or Baguio only if they can provide safe and fast ferry ride from Manila all year round. For a discounted price of more than 5K per night, it is not worth the trip. One is better off spending his money in Tagaytay for less than that.

    Worst service. ”

I reserved the sands hotel beach front they gave me the aqua hotel that i have to ride a van to get there. Ride back to my hotel. Room is okay. But too many lies. Like they have a room service 24/7. Once i tried calling aroung 5:45pm they told me they do not have room service and the restaurants closes at 6pm. So i have to hurry outside wait for the VAN AGAIN TO PICK US UP! THERE IS NO RESTO AT AQUA HOTEL AND ITS LOCATED AT THE TOP AREA AND YOU CAN'T WALK GOING THERE TOO FAR FRIM THE BEACH! The walk from the entrance is about 200 meters to the resto and back. 70% of the resto closes at 6pm and 7pm. Worst place i have been too. They have to organize the area properly. Takw not while walkinng we saw oldies shouting at the front desk because they were waiting for 40min just to know if there is room available.
