Camellia Homestay was the perfect place to stay in Hoi An! The staff is welcoming and kind - they treated us to breakfast every morning and had a BBQ for us on our first night. They gave honest advice and recommendations for our time in Hoi An. The location is perfect - 10 minute bike ride from Old Town and 15/25 to the beach (depending on which beach you go to). The homestay provides free bikes to use for your stay. Can't recommend Camellia Homestay enough!!!

We chose to stay at Camellia on recommendation from some other travelers we met in North Vietnam. It was one of the best decisions we made for our whole trip. The family that own the Home stay are lovely and so attentive. You are their only focus while you are staying in their home. There is always a tea, yogurt and fruit waiting for you when you return from the beach or town. The facilities are clean and very new. The location is great and only a short walk or cycle to both town and beach. Camellia also offer a cheap airport pick up/drop off for $20. The accommodation and inclusions at Camellia make it of of the best value stays in all of Vietnam. They have everything you need for your travels including wifi and computers, printers etc. You also have access to your own push bike whenever required. We originally booked for 2 nights and chose to extend to a third as we were enjoying Camellia and Hoi An so much. On Check out we were presented with gifts and then taken for breakfast by a family member on the way to the airport. This stay made our trip. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Stay”
My stay at the Camellia Homestay was awesome. The family was incredibly welcoming and accomodating, often bending over backwards to make sure I was comfortable. The facilities were very clean and new. This homestay is in the geographic center between the heart of the town and Cui An beach, both of which can be reached in about 10 mins by bike (provided to you for free by Uncle Chinh). I would definitely stay here again next trip through Hoi An.

Excellent host, awesome breakfast and attentive to details”
Mr Chinch who is the owner of homestay came punctually to pick us up at Danang airport. He was kind to drop us off at a place for our dinner on our way to the homestay. Throughout our 5nights stay with them, the rooms were well kept, the staffs were friendly and attentive to all our needs. Mrs Nhan also cooked delicious breakfast for us and knew our preference by heart. The family invited us for a bbq cum local cuisine dinner on our 3rd night to make us feel at home. We are very happy with our stay and strongly recommend visitors to Hoi An to stay here and experience the warmth and friendliness of this family. 🖒🖒🖒

A special experience with an incredible host ”
Our stay at Camellia was incredible! Everything about it blew our expectations away - from the special New Years Eve dinner with the family to the incredible warmth we received from everyone at the house. I went in expecting a hostel and left feeling like a part of the family. I wish them the best and hope that this review brings them more business - as they deserve every bit of it!

Amazing Homestay! Highly Recommended!”
Incredible place with an incredible family running it. We are travelers in more mid-30s and stayed in June, 2015. The family will not let you leave without trying their famous Cau Lau for either breakfast or dinner. The rooms are spacious with unlimited bottled water and good A/C. The homestay is located conveniently about a 10-15 minute bike ride from both the beach and the town. Experiencing both is a must, especially Hidden Beach. The provide complimentary bicycles to all guests each day and riding a bike there is very enjoyable. The breakfasts are huge and you won't leave hungry.

We really enjoyed the amazing hospitality at Camellia. We weren't sure what a homestay entailed, but were pleasantly surprised. We were a bit further from old town than we'd expected to be, but it was actually nice to be away and the bike riding into to town was a plus.

Every get homesick for Vietnam and wish you could visit family there? Wait, what if you aren't even Vietnamese and yearn for this. That's when you book your stay at the Cameila. Seriously, staying here is like visiting your favorite aunt and uncle in Hoi An. The owners and staff will make you feel like you are a part of the Vietnamese family you never had. Breakfast is lovely and the location is midway between the beach and downtown. Bike or walk to either and Enjoy!

Best Homestay of all our 4 months travelling”
Have not been to a better place! The family is just wonderful, heartwarming and welcoming! The best (and biggest) breakfast - try Cao Lao and Pho Bo - and very good (and strong - if you like it) coffee! We got very good advice on food in Hoi An and even were invited to have BBQ with the family on our last evening. Can highly recommend this place! You can even use their bicycles for free, so you get easily to the center or the beach.

I highly recommend Camelia homestay ! Excellent value for money, beautiful home and rooms, excellent breakfast . But the most amazing part was the staff and Camelia herself. She really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at home. It's like being with family. She is so happy to host you in her home! One of the highlights of my stay in Vietnam. Don't be deterred by being slightly out of the centre. Camelia provides a bicycle free of charge!

If it would be possible, we would rate it 20/10! The whole family is very very nice! The aunt even made us a BBQ for free! It tastes amazing! The room was clean! You can rent bikes for free to drive into the city (10 min). We would absolutely recommend that homestay!!!
