Convenient, Central hotel ”
Great location to stay if you are planning on arriving by train and is only a 5 minute walk to the closest tram station. The room and hotel as a whole was very clean. All the staff that I dealt with were very helpful and pleasant.

Bordeaux vacation”
The accommodation and staff were excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was the best we stayed in during our stay in France. Our room was a good size with excellent air conditioning. Some of the facilities advertised by the hotel accommodation company were incorrect/non-existent but did not affect our survey scores.

Good place to stay a night”
We stayed one night at the Campanile. It was overall a good stay for the price we paid: the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Good location for us as we caught the first train out of Bordeaux so it was just a 500m walk to the train station in the morning. The staff were helpful enough to put away some things for us in the fridge as there wasn't one in the room, but they were very cool about it and made us feel like they were going out of their way to do something annoying and unpleasant for them. Other staff like the housekeepers were also pretty unpleasant in general. That was the only downside. It's a good place to stay if you're not going to spend much time in the hotel except sleep and shower.

Convenient and clean”
Although the room was small it was very clean and comfortable. It's about 2 minutes walk to Gare St. Jean where you can hop on the local tram to get you to the city centre in about 5-10 minutes or catch the intercity train to Paris or other destinations. There are many places to eat around the station including a cafe at the station which offers a quick set continental breakfast if you are on the run. Free WiFi in the room was very good. I Would definitely stay there again.

Very good location near Gare St. Jean where you can catch the local tram to city centre or get the intercity train. Several restaurants around the station and a cafe at the ststion. WiFi in the room was free and good. the room was small but clean and comfortable. this was my second stay here and I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with secure parking”
Stopped at this hotel when driving through France, was very pleasantly surprised at the standard of this hotel. We often stay at Campanile and just expect a bed and shower but this was actually quite nice.

Nice stopover hotel”
Nice hotel for the price. Clean, friendly staff with a lovely breakfast. I have marked the location as 3 as it was near the station and 20/30 mins walk to the old city (there was a tram very close which probably gets you there in less than 5 mins but we walked). This location was good for us as we were staying for 1 night and travelling on by train (and the airport bus drops yo off at the station making the hotel very easy to find)

Great Value hotel if you need to stay close to St. Jean train station”
Nice room and nice staff at a nice price conveniently located close to Bordeaux's main train station, although there is not much else too interesting in the area besides. Hotel feels modern and security is tight since entrance is only via receptionist approval.

Comme Ci comme ca”
An OK hotel with not terribly pleasant staff. Well placed for the station but not for the town, as it is situated on the grubby end of the quays, near the Descas and Conservatoire monstrosities. The worst part of our stay was sharing the room with mosquitoes. I killed about ten, so we will call it a draw. Will give this chain a miss if we return to beautiful Bordeaux.

No car park”
I booked this hotel specifically as it offered parking. On arrival was told by a very rude hotel receptionist that the car park was full, and to park in the street. During our stay, I never saw one car enter or leave the car park. If you can't offer something don't advertise it, if I'd have known about the car park situation I would have booked elsewhere.i did manage to park in the street about 1km away from the hotel, but when you're in an unfamiliar city it's not ideal.

I came there to visit a friend at the hospital, was not a joyfull trip anyway. Hotel is standard Campanile style at walking distantce from train station and tramway.

We arrived at the hotel quite late that night,but the reception staff gave us very good service and help us to park the car in the car parking of the hotel and the charge is very good only 9EU/1day~And the room is very new and good,even they provide an electronic teaport then we can make a cup of hot tea!That's very good!!Totally the hotel is good and the price is acceptable!

Traveling as a couple we liked the hotel as it was a good price and nicely presented. the location is good for the train station. The location for other things is not great but the trams stop is a two minute walk. Overall we liked the hotel and would recommend it.

The experience is nice. Clean and tidy. Convenient. However, the wifi is not very effective. Moreover, there is no safe in the room, this is not very good. Hotel staff is very nice. They speak good English and give good advice. It is also easy to hire a car here to go to other places.

Exceptional”
Room is very clean and quiet. We stopover here for the bus to Periguex leaving in the morning. Staff reminded us about striking on rails.
