wow wow wow!! Excellent price, location, facilities, huge swimming pool, food is great and ok price”

We are 2 adults and 1 child (9 years old). That was our first family's vacation in Europe (15 days in total). So, not expensive, well located, clean and fun for our kid were our criteries. That's how I found the Human camping and found out that they had others locations. We spent 2 nights in Venise at the Camping Joly ( same company but a different location)excellent as well, but camping Roma a little nicer. By the way, take the deluxe unit..huge difference( newer, cleaner, bigger size..more confort for the difference of prices)..If you book breakfest included, you must know that you will receive a croissant and a coffee (Italian breakfest) not the buffet ( 8 euros pp,not a lot of choices, so we took the Italian breakfast and kept our money for lunch and snacks). After 2 nights in Venise, we took a 4 nights cruise with MSC Lirica, it was free for the kid ). We visited Split, Sarrande, Messina, Naples. Then, 3 nights in Naples (Visuvio- Pompeii- Sorrento-Capri). Then, 4 nights Roma!

amazing experience, meet great people from other places, excellent price, services, good, huge pool”

The Deluxe unit is a must for a family, much better than the bungalow for the difference of prices( cleaner, nicer, newer, more space). We took the Italian breakfest each morning ( croissant and 1 coffee), the buffet is around 8 euros and not much choises for the price. After a long day of visiting Roma, we ate at the restaurant on the camping site, food is good, price ok, very convinient! Kitchen is open until late. Pool is clean and there is a lifegard. The bus 246 to go to Cornelia metro station is in front of the camping( 1.50 euro each way and free for my 9 years old). The bus 247 go near the Vatican ( Cipro metro station) and you can walk from there. ..also in front of the camping!! Very well located and easy with public transportation , dont need a car. We LOVED the camping, no need to bring your tent..it is a small mobile house with the sheets furnished. We will return there for sure. We save money that we used to visit. To bad they dont have some in Paris, Spain, Portugal..

    Much more than we anticipated!”

Overwhelmed by the facilities, cleanliness and restaurant / bar... For the price paid for a delux bungalow it was brilliant. The rooms are brand new, and perfect for up to a weeks stay! Yes they are attached to one other bungalow next door but we found all families & guests were respectful of others and noise is minimal. (No issues at all) The restaurant has a few choices of Pasta, Pizza and grill and the food is really great, with a lovely terrace outside also... the bar too is also great offering a wide variety of drinks including cocktails at very reasonable prices! The only negative is, the Camp is quite far out of Rome, the shuttle is good but if you have specific appointments the return times don’t always match yours and depending on where you find your self after a day’s exploring it can be quite a challenge to get across Rome and back to camp (Tip - use Google maps for buses / Metros) But all in all a very lovely stay and would definitely return

    Very Enjoyable Stay”

Camping Village Roma exceeded expectations. Attractively laid out, including the solar heated outdoor swimming pool set in well kept landscaping. The restaurant is a pleasant place for steak and a cool beer in the evening, after touring Rome's splendours! It would be a great place for anyone in a 'tourer' but I stayed in a 'bungalow superior', which was cleary very new, as well as being spacious.... and neatly designed, as you would expect in Italy... Each one also has its own outside deck area with table and chairs. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. The site also has good security. There is a supermarket just across the road and there are bus routes to the centre and to the subway/metro. The 1.5 Euro ticket gets you into the city on the integrated transport network, with any number of changes you need, between bus, subway and surface train, within 100 minutes of your journey starting. The shuttle bus run by the Camping village direct to and from Fumicino airport is just as quick as a taxi and costs far less too. If you are looking for very good facilities at a great price, though not right in the centre, highly recommended!

Great and convenient stay, looking forward going back”

We had a great experience at the Camping village. We stayed at the chalet which had fridge with freezer, bonus for a very hot summer, all sizes of pots but no small pot to boil water for tea and coffee.Best thing about chalet was air con, after walking all day around Rome in sweltering heat it was nice to come back and cool down. We had a good sleep which was much needed, beds were basic but comfortable, showers were excellent, we had 2, one in each room :) Only down side was not being able to chill on the terrace due to mosquitoes and heat, but not a fault of the camping site. People should purchase Autan, mosquito repellent as soon as they touch down. Supermarket (superstore) was right across the road which was very convenient, it had everything you needed and more at super cheap prices, bakery was amazing. Busses right outside camp but some not running on sunday. Swimming pool was another bonus, we used restaurant on the first night around 11pm, and had great pizza very fast 10min

Great location, Helpful and friendly staff, safe

My friends and I had a great 4 nights stay in Camping Village Roma. It has a great location as the bus stop is just outside of the Campsite. As we stayed in a chalet, we were able to cook our breakfast and dinner daily as the chalet is equipped with the necessary cooking utensils and cutlery. Furthermore, we can buy all our necessities and food from the supermarket located just opposite the Camp. I will definitely stay in Camping Village Roma should I ever visit Rome again in the near future.

Camping Village Roma is a beautiful campsite with great facillities & friendly, helpful staff. We were surprised at how nice the chalets were. I was very surprise after reading some bad comment about village rome before how great this place was .I spend two weeks there and that's was great time .it's a little bit far from city centre but bus connection it's really good and bus stop it's in front of the camping so its couple bus stop to metro station and it's not very bad.moreover after spend daytime in busy city centre that's was relief come back to camping surrounded by trees .i stay with my son in deluxe house and I was very positive surprise how clean our room was .maybe not very huge but for me and my son was enough . Swimming pool not very deep but very clean and element condition. Higly recommended to anyone and I'm come back to this place for sure .

It's clean and welll run. Really polite and helpful staff at reception. We had a deluxe chalet. Great value for 3 people who wanted to see Rome. Parked the car up and used the bus/metro into the city. Takes about 1 hour to the colusseum. 20 minutes to the Vatican. Public transport very easy to access from Camping Roma. Ciao Bella has a limited menu but the food is good. We didn't sample breakfast. Nice clean pool.

Very nice place, close to the Roma Aurelia station (10 min fast walk). Beautiful space around. We had our stay out of the season - by December, so there was almost no people in all. The only problem was our bungalow. One of the security guys said this bungalow got a bad luck. So, don't take a keys from bungalow 222! It has an air-cond problems and hot-water issues all the time. Stuff, including the night security guys is very friendly and helpful. At this camping you could park your car right in front of your bungalow. Overall, it's a nice place, comfortable to stay for a couple of nights.

Please take time to read my review -It is away from rush of Rome so nice village and beautiful. -You will find everything you need in your cottage -Paid Shuttle service from camping to Vatican (mid of city) in every half an hour. -Breakfast is with full of options -Worth to stay and value for money -Swimming pool open timing is not adequate because people come back in evening and that time pool is closed I would recommend to stay if you are on multiple city tours in Italy to have feel other than commercial hotel.

Great place to escape the city”

My friend and I booked a superior cabin for three nights here to start our Italian adventure. At first we were worried about the location and getting to and from the city but it was relatively easy. There is a supermarket across the road, a tour desk inside the grounds, a ticket machine for bus/train tickets, but best of all for us, it was quiet in our part of the camp site and we loved sitting out on or little front deck after the craizness that is central Rome. The only very minor thing was the room layout. The shower is just a wet room that isn't inside a bathroom, so drying off and getting changed so I wasn't displaying all my private parts to my travelling companion was a bit tricky! Haha. We would definitely book here again.

    Very good”

Location camping is not very convenient if you prefer to walk (like i do :)). It is the route to the Vatican, a lot of cars. At night, to walk along it will be dangerous. But excellent transport connection. From the camp there is a bus to the Vatican and metro stations. Friendly and helpful staff. Check-on starts at 13.00, so be prepared. We arrived at 10am and had to walk around. But they allowed to leave the luggage in the room for the staff. If it is important, some staff speak in Russian. About rooms. I stayed in a bungalow. Very clean and comfortable, a good shower. But the hot water is not everlasting :) so be careful. I would recommend this place. And probably I will be back again. Thank you!

Most relaxed way to spend time in Rome !”

The camp and chalets are clean and well laid out. The staff are great and very helpful. Good supermarket just across the flyover. My partner has walking difficulties - so the 3 flights of stairs from the reception up to the site could have been a problem - but nearly every time a golf buggy was available and they took us up to out Chalet. Getting to Rome was easy - we used the shuttle bus from the camp site which takes you in to a metro station. Plenty sunbeds at the pool - although I don't think we went at peak season.

    We love Rome 👍🏻”

The campsite was a an ideal base to stay for those who want to go and visit the sights in Rome or if u wanted to stay and chill out by the pool (especially as it’s so hot). The chalet had everything we needed to cook meals and to store food in a large fridge freezer. The air con was much needed! There was a supermarket over the road to stock up. We thought the bar prices on the camp were expensive, we only went once and got two beers (not pints) and a can of Coke for $13. We bought beer from supermarket instead and sat on our veranda of an evening. We used local transport to travel into Rome. Purchased a weekly ticket from reception for €24 each which was value for money as we used the buses and metros a lot! The bus stop was just outside the camp. We did mostly have to wait a while for the bus but once we got to the metro it was a lot quicker. It would take us around 45 mins to an hour to get into Rome depending on that bus! Rome is amazing, we loved it!

Very friendly, helpful people. From buggy drivers to lifeguard to bar staff, everyone smiling and happy to help. Stayed in a superior bungalow. Great air con and WiFi. Pretty little street and comfortable bed. Liked the shower. Could have done with more bin bags. Both my girls learnt to swim in the pool. Initially worried about no shallow area but it actually worked better. My nearly two year old swam with arm bands! The floating beanbags were such fun. Just watch out for little ones. My eight year old was a little worried about being caught underneath one. My youngest, she said her favourite thing was the food. The restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. Waiting staff brilliant. I didn't mind signalling them to come when we needed. One was like lightening, saving my little monkey from falling. My eldest wondered if he was a vampire!
