Beautiful Campsite
Camping Village Roma is a beautiful campsite with great facillities & friendly, helpful staff. We were surprised at how nice the chalets were. If you have mobility issues beware there are a lot of steps involved in getting to the site (but that's Rome for you!). Highly recommended campsite, enjoy!

It could be really better: lack of cleanliness is the weakness
We've been lodged for 7 days of midsummer in a so called "Superior Bungalow": three beds on a air-conditioned single bedroom with its own WC and shower. The air conditioner reached only a minimum of 18 Celsius degrees by Roman summer temperatures up to 32 Celsius degrees. Positive: cheap hotel. Supermarket and bus stop just a few meters away (right in front and at the right side of the main entrance). Receptionists and Infopoint personal are nice and willing to help. The bedroom and his furniture seemed almost new and had a nice, modern design. Sadly negative and really very important: during our entire, 7-days stay, the pool was NEVER visibly cleaned. We have asked the lifeguard about it specifically. Despite its (just here so rated) "wonderful" linguistic skills, especially in English, he had nothing to say on the specific question of the day of the pool cleaning. His answer after repeated communication attempts: Io non parlo inglese. What would you think in our place? It's never cleaned or as minimum, irregularly. The two possibilities are pretty disgusting, specially when you see many kids and adults splashing about and in there from opening to closing time on a daily basis. Neither our "Superior Bungalow" was while the entire week cleaned. Through our 7-days stay neither the bedding nor the towels were exchanged, at least once! Remember: Roman midsummer, with a weak air-conditioning... Result: too much sweating (at least more than usual) in our bedding and quite more use of the shower and, of course, of the towels too. Of course, our WC wasn't the exemption. It wasn't cleaned neither. Nobody said something about it despite our repeated inquiries. Should we selves have cleaned up our "Superior Bungalow" room too? Despite the fact that we've taked all our garbage daily out, in the last two days we've had an ant invasion of such a scale, that we had experienced ant bites all over! Our little child had quite suffered from it. When you are camping in a tent, su

A Relaxing Cheap holiday
The Superior bungalow was excellent.Location quite convenient. Restaurant prices moderate.Supermarket opposite complex very convenient. Also a new chain of restaurants called Old Wild West just opposite campsite a bit further down offers a good variation at a walking distance. Two negatives are cleanliness by the pool and a fridge inside the bungalow otherwise it is excellent accommodation.
