he motor inn has a good location, at only a short drive from Civic and very close to the Dickson shops. The rooms need a bit of TLC, but are clean and serviceable. The stay was ok, but I overheard the manager quoting a much lower price than I paid to another customer - it was not great value for money for the price I paid through Agoda.

Liked the motel, although very old. 2 Queen beds in the room, very comfy. Not good bathroom facility. Shower over bath, not good for elderly couple in mid 70's. Had to put a hand towel in bath so husband wouldn't slip over. Scary. Breakfast option would have been great. Wi-fi kept dropping out, not very happy about this. Motels in NSW offer breakfast included in the cost, smaller room though.

This motel needs to be renovated. 100 years old AC doesn't have any temperature control preset to a single temperature. No toiletries, only provided with hand soap bar, no shampoo, lotion or anything. No complementary mineral water or biscuits for breakfast. Only tea/coffee. Just provided towels for shower, no hand towels or other. The room size was decent and that's literally the only thing that came with the room but the rest didn't meet the expectations at all. This review was done in March 2023. I don't recommend this motel to anyone unless you don't have anywhere else to stay. It's not value for money or even comparable to any other motel of its class and facilities.

Great that we had 2 queen size beds in the 1 room! Perfect for the 3 of us (my husband, myself and our teenage son) Spacious room. Only problem was there was no crockery or cutlery (besides cups for tea/coffee/water)

It’s not flash but if you want flash in Canberra it will cost you double what you’d pay here. Clean, spacious, plentiful hot water, helpful reception staff. Have stayed here a number of times and will stay again.
