Weekend at Canelands Beach Club”
We really enjoyed spending the weekend at Canelands Beach Club. The room was nice, we booked one room with view to the back, the bed was very comfortable, nice bathroom. The Staff was friendly and helpful but not always very fast in serving. The terrasse is amazing for diner time. The access and view to the beach is amazing .The only point that disappointed me was the cleanliness of the pool, on Sunday (we stayed on a weekend), it looks like they didn’t even clean it, it was not so clear and we could see a lot of small particles floating. Apart from this I was happy of my stay and will go back

Excellent overall however meals are overpriced and they really should offer a service to press and launder guests clothes for the price they charge and their star rating. Will definitely visit them again.

We decided to stay longer. The place is remarkable. With only a few rooms and a great pool. You can dip in the sea at a few hundred meters from the hotel.

Pieceful small hotel right at the beach”
A wonderful quiet place right next to the beach. The hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly. It is really more of a beach house than a hotel with only 10 rooms and an amazing pool right next to the beach. The breakfast is great! There is not much to do on walking distance but Dolphin's Coast is 10 minutes drive with good restaurants.

The location is fantastic”
It started rather bad . First one of the personal made me feel as it was my fault. Later I spoke to the manager and she was very pleasent offerd me one night nitgt rate back or stay one more night extra for free. I also got my clothes washed for free. So in the end they a very good stay.

Poor management”
We stayed there for 2 nights and besides the view and the quality of the food, the stay was atrocious because of well-known power failures that management had not made provisions for. At the price we pay for the accommodation, they could at least put in battery or generator backup for the lights. And not leave us in complete darkness.

Great location - Terrible Communication”
The hotel is situated on the beach, great location. The staff are friendly, however not accommodating to issues. BEWARE: of romantic turn down costs. They do not notify you that they charge for Romantic turn-downs! I asked for a Romantic turn-down as it was my 1st Anniversary, the owner said that he would do a romantic turn-down, however did not mention that there would be an extra cost (nor is this visible on their website or brochures). My wife and I dont drink alcohol so I suggested the Romantic turn-down, please provide "Non-Alcoholic drink". Upon arrival, the receptionist takes us to our room, then sends someone up with 2 non-alcoholic cocktails. We assumed maybe this was the "romantic turn-down" or complimentary drinks, as they did not inform us that these drinks we will be paying for when we check out. The drinks (which we never even have) came to a R70. This costs would've been avoided had the Hotel told us that this is NOT complimentary and are charging. I suggest that if you'd like to stay here, stay but watch what you eat, drink, etc. These people really charge for everything. If it wasn't for this attitude at this hotel, the stay would've been amazing! However on a lighter note, their one employee Lewis, very friendly and great guy. Unfortunate for him to work for employers with such a "Charge for everything" owner.

schönes Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamem Personal”
Wir haben zuerst ein sehr kleines Doppelzimmer im unteren Geschoss erhalten. Da es sich um ein Boutique-Hotel handelt und das Restaurant sowie die Küche nicht abgeschlossen sind. Hört man jedes Geräusch und die Gäste im Zimmer. Wir haben nach einem ruhigeren Zimmer gefragt, Uns wurde ein grösseres Zimmer im OG ohne Aufpreis angeboten. Dieses war viel angenehmer.
