"Pros: easy to access 405, comfortable bed, close to family in Van Nuys Cons: overpriced ($150/night was too much for the quality here), separate parking charges, no fridge in room (costs $10 extra), hair balls floating in pool, shower is tiny, breakfast isn’t included "

"I actually traveled with my best friend but no option for that. We have stayed here a few times before and although they are renovating now this place is still clean. It's about a 1/2 hour from downtown LA but is close to stores, fast food, restaurants, etc. Staff has always been friendly, which isn't always easy to find. There is no elevator, so if you have mobility restrictions just ask for a ground floor room. Very accommodating. I will keep coming back here!!. "

"We came to LA for granddaughters birthday. Needed a place close to them and in a safe area with free parking. This Hotel is convenient to our family and freeway for ease of access. There was a some city noise, but not bad enough to keep us up. (We live in the country and don't miss big city noise.) Room was clean, bed was OK, comfortable, good quality towels and shower worked well. We had a small fridge in the room which was perfect for our needs. There was a Chinese restaurant and a Mediterranean chicken place next to each other a block away, so we could just walk over there. Also a Denny's at the Hotel if you want to get food there. Made it easy because we had no desire to drive any more for the day. LA traffic sux. Go Giants!"

"Agoda never put my reservation thru and the front desk mentioned that they (Aogda) have been screwing things up lately. So I would definetly call days in advance to make sure they got the reservation. Even though that happened I would try Agoda again just because the price was ridiculously good for the room I got (Junior Suite). It was very close to the price of a standard room! Thankfully the hotel accommodated even though the hotel was booked because Obama was staying there for the night. That was crazy btw!!! Once I got that settled everything else was fine. Room was clean, service good and overall experience was good. A few not so good things though were that the fridge wasn't very cold (they brought us another that worked), bathroom door lock didn't work (no big deal), one of the remotes for the tvs didn't work ( again no big deal since there was another that worked both tvs), and you have to pay for parking per day (that's a little cheap on their part)."

Room was very clean and simple with frige and microwave. Everything a couple needs to be comfortable. Balcony/patio area was a plus. Properly priced and would stay again. "

"This was my first time staying at the hotel and found the 3.5 star rating to be accurate. The room was large, modern and had a huge tv. The staff was extremely nice. I asked not to have a room facing the 101 highway. They were able to upgrade me to a superior double queen room. The room appears to have been recently remodeled. The bathroom was also modern. Weird quirk about the hotel is that they charge $15/night for parking however if you want after 10pm you can park your car down the street at the bank for free and the valet will bring it to you in the morning when needed. I will definitely return. "

"First off, the staff was great in allowing us an early checkin. We were in town for a wedding in Topanga, CA (about 5-7 miles away) which started at 4, and needed adequate time to get ready. The standard 3pm checkin would be cutting it extremely close, so i explained the situation to the staff, and they said if the rooms were available, they'd be more than happy to check us in. We arrived at 1:30 and the kind staff checked not only my wife and I, but my brother booked a room as well and allowed him to do the same.. Dont get me wrong, the rooms and furniture are very very basic. It's not a Hilton, but it's definitely good enough for our needs. What was very convenient is that they have a microwave and a mini fridge in the event we needed it. It's very close to shopping and eating.. the following morning my wife and I took a nice 4 minute walk to a nice coffee shop and worked off our hangovers. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, and I am a very picky person. "
