Elegant-peaceful-delightful-gorgeous sea view-amaizing-pool-brand new rooms-kind staff-great food”
This adult retreat hotel is just perfect.Best choice. The view is magnificent, you are on top of a hill which means that you always have a little breeze and it is calm. The beach (Kamala ( is 5-10min by walk, easy. The beach is always busy with noises form the jet skis, the tourists and the hotels there do not get much air. Cape Sienna has a stunning pool, most beautiful i have ever seen, v,in white marble, very long, perfect for your fitness with view on the sea. The pool restaurant is your best option, very nice dishes, reasonably priced and no risk to be sick.Their fine dining PLUM with their Italian chef is stunning, they always offer a side of the menu, a special menu at such a good price with entree, main and dessert. Elegant, calm with ocean view. The rooms are very clean and new. comfortable bed, with TV, wide shower, and a private terrace, air con obviously, nice min bar... Going on excursions we had a look at the different hotels and we thanked ourselves to have chosen Cape Sienna, the other hotels are really big and busy, nothing calm and romantic..Obviously it depends what you are looking for. The excursions organized by the hotels are of good quality surely a bit more expensive then on the street outside but at least they are reliable, they pick you up at the hotel and if you need to change or ask any information there is always someone at the desk at the hotel. The city tour is not worth it, it is not a tour of Phuket as we thought but of the big Buddha and a shop where they sell jewels that they say to be made there but i suspect they are made elsewhere. We wasted a precious day we could have spent relaxing... the Phi Phi island excursion was good as well as the elephant trekking.Patong beach was too noisy and busy but good if you want to buy fake sun glasses, swimming suites...they all sell the same. The massages at the hotel are great and they have some specials at half price !! A very special thanks to Andrea (bar and pool restaurant manager) who
Excellent Hotel with awesome view”
When we booked cape sienna, we were very excited to see it. We landed in phuket international airport and then had to take a taxi from the airport which costed us 600 bahts. On reaching the hotel, we were taken to the first floor for the reception. As soon as the lift doors opened we were presented with a spectacular view of the ocean & Kamala beach. The staff was very polite & happy to receive us. They also offered a welcome drink, a flower to my wife & also gave us option of choosing any one fragrance which would be used in our room. The hotel has a great 24 hour poolside restaurant & you must visit Vanilla sky a lounge bar on the top floor which gives you a 360 view of the entire area. Though the hotel is not on the beach, the hotel has drop to kamala beach in the morning at 10 and if you don't opt for the same its just a 15 min walk to kamala beach. Kamala beach is clean and has great waters, good eating joints & also great thai massages. The hotel offers free drop to Patong beach at 5.30 pm & pick ups at 10pm from Patong which is great. The food, service, location was excellent. The hotel has a Spa which offer various spa massages but are a bit expensive. If you have the money then get the spa massages or else head to kamala beach where you would get an 1 hour massage for approx 350 bahts.I will definitely stay again here and recommend Cape Sienna to all.
Excellent location away from the hustle and bustle”
i travelled with 3 girlfriends. we cannot speak highly enough of cape sienna, it was in a great location (only 10 minute walk from the small town of kamala beach.. up hill on the way back) with breathtaking views at sunset. the rooms were clean and comfortable (only one small disappointment was that we asked for twin share at booking but we were given a king size bed). the buffet breakfast was one of the best i have had. the staff were always pleasant and helpful. kamala beach is away from the hustle and bustle of patong. it was about a 35 minute ride in a taxi from the airport to cape sienna. cape sienna organised taxi pick up for us (price was baht). there is a bus that goes from cape sienna to patong (return) about 3 times a day and is booked through reception. there is no cost for this. we made the most of the 'happy hour' and cocktail of the day.. all in all i would give this hotel 9/10 and will definitely be back.
Stunning, chic, designer property”
Cape Sienna is a stunning hotel with sweeping views across the bay at Kamala. It is very slick, chic and beautifully designed. I stayed for seven nights in a Sea View Studio – their lead in room type. It was extremely comfortable, well appointed and relaxing. I had some friends staying in one of the spa rooms and if you are wondering if it is worth the extra to stay in this room type, the answer is – yes – spend the extra for a much larger room, balcony and wonderful treat of having a spa on your very own balcony. You walk into the lobby at Cape Sienna, take a deep breathe and just relax. The views from reception (power cables aside) are simply stunning. So too the views from ALL rooms – across the glistening waters of Kamala Bay. Staff are delightful, immaculately presented and have very good English skills. Vanilla Sky Bar is undoubtedly the highlight – brilliant, funny, welcoming, professional bar staff who know how to mix seriously awesome cocktails – and their chef sure knows how to turn out sublime tapas treats. Beautiful pool and surrounds. Plentiful sun lounges (but could get busy if hotel occupancy is high). You MUST sit in the spa next to the bar – awesome – and ask M for a Singha! Breakfast – fantastic. Comprehensive selection, good coffee (for Thailand), efficient omelette bar, and really, really nice bread options (instead of the standard square Thai white (sweet) bread you normally get. Love those little sausages, but how bad are they for you??? ;) Good gym and by all accounts the spa services are excellent – but resort priced. I enjoyed Kamala as well. Small enough to explore easily, without the mayhem, grime and chaos of Patong. Some great restaurants in town, plentiful massage options, coffee shops and beach bars. It is quiet – which is why I liked it. Bob’s Reggae bar on the beach is well worth a visit and mojito. Twin Bar if you like a laugh and Isaan music!
Modern and romantic hotel with great staffs!”
This trip was a birthday surprise trip for my girlfriend, and I had a hard time planning everything, I was lucky to have met Ms Suchada Prompan from Cape Sienna. She helped to plan out dinners and my itinerary in Phuket. Took the airport transfer offered by the hotel, superb! It was a Honda Accord, the ride was excellent, the driver drove as cautiously as he could over the humps and made the ride extremely comfortable. Upon arrival at the hotel, you'll be greeted by warm reception staffs and you'll be asked to be seated at their couch which is sea-facing (great view!), while the staffs proceed with your check-in. You'll then be presented with a nice cup of beverage and be asked to choose your preferred aroma for toiletries (e.g shower gel, hair shampoo). The staffs are quick to respond to your needs, (e.g. it only took them less than 5 mins for someone to send an electrical plug adaptor to my room after making a call to the concierge) The view from the room is splendid, you get to see the sunrise from the right side of your balcony and the sunset on your left. Overall, I have great satisfaction staying with Cape Sienna. Definitely would come back to Phuket again, and definitely would wanna stay in Cape Sienna again. Thumbs up!
Best 40th Birthday Ever Cape Sienna”
Cape Sienna is indeed the best resort I have stayed in Asia and I have stayed at many as I work in the media. This is only my 2nd stay time to stay at Cape Sienna and they welcome me as part of their family everytime. On this occasion on October 17 they overwhelmed me with their generousity and kindness as I turned 40 on this 4 day visit and they served me champagne and cake to my friends and I as we enjoyed the amazing pool. Everyone sang happy birthday too me and I was moved to tears. I found it very hard to leave Cape Sienna as they also upgraded my room and I was so happy everyday. My 2 best friends also were shocked how amazing the resort is. The rooms are so luxurious and the views are amazing. I highly recommend it and it's still quite affordable too. I want to make Cape Sienna a yearly retreat and will return with my wife and newborn and my friends families from Australia too. The beach nearby, Kamala Beach is so peaceful too and only 15minute drive from Patong Beach (which too me is way too noisy and crowded). Thanks Cape Sienna for making such a special occasion in my life so perfect! Best cocktails I ever had and best everything!
Magnificent..Fabulous..Loved Every second!”
Stayed here for 2 nights in June and i can't wait to plan my next trip there! The moment we stepped into the lobby we were mesmerised by the seaview there itself. Hotel staff were friendly and asked us to choose a scent for the bathtub. We booked a jacuzzi sea view suite. As the hotel staff led us to the room, we were most definitely surprised. The room had a mini kitchen (sink, fridge, cutlery), a designated area with a sofa, television and a music player. The bed faced the perfect direction with the seaview. Breakfast had a good spread. We tried out the spa at Cape Sienna. It was just alright. They were extremely polite but for the price, we could have had similar massage services elsewhere in Thailand. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was strategically positioned and we enjoyed the sunset in the jacuzzi. The room was indeed fabulous. Clean, neat and perfect. The infinity pool at Sienna Rocks was lovely and overlooked the sea. The pool by the bar was pretty good too but its near the cafe and if you prefer some privacy then we suggest to opt for the infinity pool. There is one shuttle trip to and from Kamala and Patong which are oddly timed and would need to be booked in advance. But a short walk of around 15min, was the Kamala main area which is a quiet area with only a handful of shops and restaurants. But there is never a need to leave the resort and the room. The plum restuarant was really romantic but pricey. We would surely recommend the resort and looking forward to our next trip!
Cape Sienna - Affordable Luxury”
Breakfast was good enough daily. We stayed for 5days and 4nights but pity we missed BBQ Nite =( 7-11 just down the hill, importantly after the end of the hill you turn left and you're already nearing the beach. the beach has fine sand and friendly locals with jet skis for hire and more water activities to try. Andara Resort & Villas is next door, another beautiful resort with the famous SILK restaurant - go there one night for dinner and ambience. Cape Sienna is located on a cliff so this promises awesome sunrise and sunset views. The Happy Hours at Vanilla Sky Bar are good too Room was spacious and comfortable but I didn't like the fact that the toilet was separated from the shower (and there was no water hose connected to the toilet). Rain shower option available though. No other complaints about staff or the hotel - everything is reasonably priced and affordable. The lobby has a magnificent view with an open concept though - really wonderful to be greeted with that once you arrive at the hotel. The infinity pool Sienna Rocks is a little outside the hotel, but is wonderful and has amazing views. I enjoyed the refreshing mocktails as well! About 20min or so into Phuket Town via Shuttle.
Cape Sienna never fails to impress.”
Cape Sienna is situated on the sloping cliffs on the south side of picturesque Kamala beach. The resort offers a contemporary boutique style experience. All rooms at the resort have a sea view, the food at the resort was great, with an interesting mix of Thai and quality European cuisine that was some of the best I had on the island. Unlike other hotels in the area, drinks and meals were good value and reasonably priced. It’s recommend booking through Agoda or contacting the hotel directly as you get significant discounts on rooms if you book early, its great value for a 5 star resort of its calibre. It’s also worthwhile upgrading to spa room, which generally offer better views and a little more room than the basic suites. Overall Cape Sienna is one of my favourite hotels on the island, never failing to impress with their levels of service, style and amenities.
Relaxing stay with beautiful ambience ”
Cape Sienna Hotels & Villas was a great place to stay. The whole establishment is well designed with seaside views in your room, lobby, poolside restaurant and sky bar. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a great variety to choose from each day and the food was of high quality. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and warm and our rooms were kept nice and clean. The room in which we stayed in seemed like a standard hotel room but still had a lovely view from the balcony. I loved the location as it was nice and relaxing with a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Kamala and the beach where we got massages nearly everyday for great value! I’m glad we were at least a 10-15 minute car ride away from the jungle that is Patong! Overall, I would highly recommend this resort as a base to explore the island of Phuket, the service we experienced was very much appreciated!
Beautiful hotel and environment!”
My girlfriend and I were very impressed with Cape Sienna and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a tremendous view of the Andaman Sea as you step outside of the elevator to the reception area. The lobby is very well done for the most part. It's too bad about the power cables that slightly disrupt this otherwise gorgeous view. The reception staff are very well dressed, friendly, helpful and provide a welcome drink and cold towel on your arrival. Our C-View Jacuzzi room was very nice. We loved the modern clean design that was well lit. The shower and bathroom were well done and the bed was very comfortable. Free wi-fi worked great. The music playing in the room from the TV was very nice and we listened to it a lot during our stay. We went to Phi Phi the next morning and ordered a takeaway breakfast bag for 6:30am which was nice. Not all hotels do this. The breakfast the 2nd morning was very good. We had Valentines dinner at Plum Fine Dining. Originally tried the Sala table outside but it was too hot so we went inside and it was lovely. The set menu that night was too fancy for our tastes but the environment was truly gorgeous. We had happy hour at Vanilla Sky Bar with a close friend and really enjoyed it. Excellent looking snooker room up there as well. One of the biggest selling points to Cape Sienna is the Adults only policy(or at least no children under 12). This added a great deal to the relaxation and serene environment. The poolside area is a great area to hang out in, relax and have some drinks. There were a few things we didn't like. The design of the sink in the bathroom isn't good. It's much too easy to blast yourself with a ton of water. Poolside staff weren't as friendly as reception and we would have liked a master switch to turn off and on all lights at once in the room. Otherwise this was a beautiful hotel and we would definitely come back and stay again.
Most romantic hotel I have ever stayed at”
I stayed at the cape sienna with my husband for the first two days of our honeymoon. I must say that it was the best choice I made by booking this hotel. I had seen the photos and 360 degree view of the 'Sea view jacuzzie' room on the website. When we arrived we thought that the room was much better and bigger than the photos. The room had a cozy yet expansive feel to it. The balcony overlooked the ocean and kamala beach on one side, and the hill with other hotel rooms on the right side. The Jacuzzie in the balcony was perfect for a honeymooning couple like us as we wanted complete seclusion while we enjoyed the hot water. The breakfast was served near the pool in the hotel and it was incredible. We ordered dinner once in the room which was good, but could have been more hot. The thing that I liked most about the hotel was the hospitality and courtesy of the staff. Everyone was polite, smiling and helpful. The time to check us in the hotel was minimum. I have only one issue that I had personally written to the manager asking for a Honeymoon bed to be prepared. When I arrived they said that they couldn't do it on the first day and would do it on the second night. But I think they simply forget to fulfill our request and their promise. But rest everything was great and I would definitely recommend the hotel to every couple.
An hidden gem in Phuket”
I had to get a room for a night after my diving trip. As it's only for a night, i didnt want it to be too far away from the airport, and all i want it's a clean, comfortable, private hotel. Chance upon Cape Sienna thru Agoda with a good deal and decided to go with it. For sgd200+ per night, you get an awesome seaview room! The room is huge, clean with comfy bed!! With ~10mins walk, u will reach Kamala beach where there are many restaurants & shops. it's not as happening as Patong beach, but it's way way good enuff. Walk for another 5mins, u will reach the main road where u can find some cheap good local food, massage (Will recommend Home Massage too!!). Ordered some room service and had my buffet breakfast, food is not bad. Will wanna try the PlUM restaurant if i have a chance next time. I will definitely be back when i'm coming Phuket again!!
DELIGHTFUL WEEK SPENT AT CAPE SIENNA PHUKET!”
I booked a room at the Cape Sienna Phuket for 7 days and nights based on excellent customer reviews on Agoda. Happily, what I found when I got there actually exceeded my expectations! We were overwhelmed by an absolutely stupendous view the moment we entered the hotel lobby, which was tantamount to heaven and earth after a long journey there. The view from the spacious balcony of our room was equally delightful, with a long stretch of the sea exerting an almost hypnotic effect - the perfect antidote to the pressures of daily life nowadays! The staff were wonderful, in particular Khun Yut (the marvelously attentive Guest Relations Officer), Mike Everard (one of the Managers), Khun U-Thai (Food & Beverages), Jib at Reception, and Khun Yindee whose charm and graciousness were remarkable. The swimming was a joy each day, and the breakfast reflected both quality and considerable variety. It was ever so peaaceful and quiet, in a lovely, secluded setting and minus any children. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return to it on my next trip to Phuket!
A great hotel for relaxing ”
The stay at the Cape Sienna Phuket was great! We had a really enjoyable time just checking out the nearby quaint town of Kamala (as compared to the hustle of Patong) and chilling by the pool side with the amazing view of the sea. Another must-see is Sienna Rocks which is just across the hotel, it has the most gorgeous infinity pool where you can laze in and watch the sunset. Just breathtaking. The breakfast buffet spread was good and had a wide range of food available. Only thing that marred the overall experience was one or two of the grumpier chefs serving us during breakfast for the items that needed to be cooked. Overall the rest of the staff were really friendly and professional to us during our stay. The room was comfy and nice. However, the shower drain seemed to get clogged quite easily. There is a complimentary shuttle to Patong at particular timings, but do remember to register a slot with the reception. Taxi fare from the hotel to the airport was 1000 baht, and about 600 baht when we traveled from the airport to the hotel when we arrived.
Great Hotel, Great service, but a little quiet”
i stayed at the cape sienna phuket hotel for one night, and i regret to not stay longer. the hotel is great. the room is great with modern designs and a very reasonable price. but the hotel is very quiet, maybe i stayed there not on the high season. the breakfast is also very good, the restaurant is very nice. i got the chance to sit at the sofa which is very nice and also the view is nice. i didn't get the chance to go to vanilla sky bar, by the looks outside it looks very nice. i will definetely go back to the cape sienna phuket hotel. a very nice hotel.
Best Romantic Getaway”
This is the second time to spend our little getaway with Cape Sienna and We got ourself a Sea View Jacuzzi Deluxe Room again. What We love about Cape Sienna is the space and design of the whole resort itself. At any point of time no matter where you are, your eyes will always be filled with spectacular sea view and the Kamala Beach. Enjoy the calmness + quietness of this beautiful resort, endue yourself the large room + jacuzzi at the balcony with beautiful sea view. Breath in deep, enjoy the sea breeze and rejuvenate your soul. Cape Sienna, the best romantic getaway experience we had so far and we will definitely be back again soon.
nothing that i can say, everything is just perfect, im promise i'll be back! everything is good, friendly and helpful staff, good service, amazing view, good breakfast, relax, free shuttle to patong town on 4:30pm (1 trip / day), walk distance to 7-11 about 10 minute, 15 minutes to kamala beach! highly recommend to everyone be at phuket. must visit to hotel 'sienna rocks' infinity pool, just opposite hotel! it make my little escape perfect! thank you cape sienna!
Siesta at Sienna”
If you are looking for a quiet spot with a view, look no further than Cape Sienna (recently renovated). Pitched on the southern cliffs overlooking the expanse of Kamala Beach, you will experience a tranquil place to relax and be mesmerized Sienna's memorable sunset views. The staff are polite and always available to assist. The restaurants and drinks are a little pricy, but periodic shuttles are available to Kamala where there are plenty of budget eating options (suggestion: check out Grill Bill). If walking to the beach (approx. 20 minutes) be aware that the return walk up the hill to Sienna can take your breathe away a little. Better yet, opt for a shuttle to drop you off and pick you up, though the timings are infrequent. Breakfast was quite sufficient, The rooms large and clean. The facilities were excellent. Sister café Sienna Rocks is a perfect place to swim and stare out at the ocean on a hot afternoon. All in all, Cape Sienna is a perfect place to quietly unwind.
Modern boutique hotel with great seaview”
It’s our favorite hotel in Phuket now. If you’re tired of loud music and don’t want to be in the mid of crowds every day. The Cape Sienna is the right answer for you! It’s not far from Patong and easy to go to the major places of interests and other beaches in Phucket. On the other hand, you can also enjoy a quiet and peaceful time at the Kamala Bay. The hotel is not very big, but it has everything we need for a sea-side holiday. The fantastic view of the Kamala Bay from the room. Nice swimming pool, the sea-view Jacuzzi. The hotel is very new and its rooms are modern and clean. The bed is comfortable and bathroom is spotless. This hotel will be our first choice for our next trip to Phuket.
