Disappointing”
The main bar was closed for a private party (which is fine). This party however turned into a Karaoke event which continued on until past 11pm. The quality of the food has declined significantly as has the service.

Choice Hotel for a pleasant stay”
Pros: Excellent and attentive service, from knolls to reception, although reception did not realise I was a multiple patron to the hotel. Good facilities. Room amenities are as always classy and above average. Cons: TV reception and channels do not match expectations of Capella - snowy channel at times, and inadequate channel options. Reading room overhead lights were faulty and not working. Bar fridge was not restocked on day 2 Basin taps are difficult to turn with wet or soapy fingers. A redesign is probably recommended. Water closet wall phone extension cord is aged and draggy, can be a hindrance and does not fit overall image of a classy room. Balcony door upper latch was loose and hindering closure of the doors. From the damage to the doors it seems to have gone unnoticed for a while.

Customer service was very busy and hence, there is a long wait during check-in. This is my second stay but abit disappointed at how they attended to our requests to refund our parking fees. The room was not prepared according to the requests. Other than that, the environment and facilities is nice and the activities is good.

A modern sanctuary”
Not my first stay here and would definitely come back again. Room was upgraded to suite, love the living room and the view. The room was comfortable in every way. Aesop bathroom amenities. Tree pool is the best. The lower level is shallower, suitable for family, and the upper one is quiet for adults. Staff brought us water, I remember back then they brought snacks (chocolate coated ice cream balls). I always spend time at their library. They used to serve cakes. They still serve tea, and cookies. It was a peaceful place for a read. You should walk around the hotel area and you would very likely bump into peacocks.

Superb stay to celebrate my lil one’s belated birthday. Staff is very accomodating in your requests. Location wise is not really convenient as you have to travel by cab if you miss the shuttle bus’ timing. The breakfast has very limited menu as well which has surprised me. But after all, it is worth the money. Thank you!

Really an awesome staycation I had! Definitely recommending this hotel to all my friends! The pros : big and spacious room with balcony, staffs were all kind and polite consistently every staff is polite and service is so so good ! Consistency is crucial ! Air con temperature at the best able to adjust ! View is wonderful. Day bed is super comfortable and clean. Our room is kept very very clean ! Went to the pool, there were staffs as well! Drinks were served to us. Cons- may suggest that it’s time to change the bed mattress.. not as fluffy as I hope it would be.. but still comfortable for a good nights rest ! Probably the pool needs to be cleaned and scrubbed a little, I had a baby nephew swimming.. the ground of the pool seems dirty for little children. May suggest that hotel kindly let us know regarding the areas where our lil fur kids are allowed at, and may kindly let the staffs at pool have more knowledge as to whether are we allowed to bring the pool towel back to our room after swimming and drying ourselves.. If u have a little doggy with u, you might need to walk/trek a distance up back to the hotel if you’re going out to explore Sentosa. (Maybe can get a buggy to drive us back up? Perhaps? ). But even if it’s not allowed it’s okay. The hotel had already made up for all of it hehe ! ❤️ Overall I WOULD TOTALLY COME BACK-FOR ANOTHER STAY, this hotel is too superb to pass !

beautiful grounds that is surrounded by lush forest. Beautiful villa with a nice private plunge pool. Food and drinks are also great. There are even peacocks rooming around throughout the hotel. Nice place for a night away from home and only a taxi ride away

Definitely on the decline”
We've stayed at Cappella many times and it has seriously gone downhill. I emailed the manager before my stay to let him know it was a special occasion and he never emailed back. The service was actually rude - almost non-existent; as we had to beg to be checked out while a taxi ran the meter up to $10 before we even left the hotel. The villa plunge pool was dirty so we didn't bother to use it. Lastly, we prepaid but they questioned us like we were criminals. We left and went to stay at another much better resort nearby and we won't return. It's really less than a one star hotel.

We were there for our anniversary staycation and we appreciate that our room was upgraded and the hotel was very kind to gift us a bottle of wine. Only cons were it's a kids friendly hotel so the pool on the weekend was swarmed with children. Also the hotel was running on 85% occupancy (we asked the staff about it) and there were not enough sun beds to go around.

This is my 4th time coming to Capella and i feel this time the standard was not what i expected . The previous staffs were so friendly and without me asking things were done perfectly. While waiting for our villa to be ready, we were at the lobby, the refreshments on the table were not cleared and the manager came over to us and ask if they can serve us second round of refreshments. We told her first of all these do not even belong to us. And during our stay in the villa, previous times we just need to call for buggy once and it arrives within 5 mins. This time i had to call 5-6 times and without confirming they assured the rider is on the way. Very disappointing staycation. I really hope my next stay will be much more better than this.
