I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it offers great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was pleasant. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. As the hotel is located right next to the highway, the soundproofing — particularly from the windows — could be better. At night, the noise from vehicles, especially motorcycles with modified exhausts, was quite noticeable and made it difficult to get uninterrupted sleep. There’s also no convenience store nearby; the closest one is about a 10–15 minute walk away. For travelers arriving late, a vending machine in the lobby would be a great addition, especially since the nearest eateries also require walking across to the opposite side of the highway. It would also be helpful to have the hotel restaurant’s menu placed in the room — unless there’s no room service available — so guests can quickly check the dining options. Lastly, I noticed some bathroom tiles were peeling off, exposing the cement layer underneath. While it didn’t bother me personally, it may affect other guests' impressions and should ideally be repaired. All in all, I had a pleasant stay and would still recommend the hotel for its comfort and affordability. With a few small upgrades, it could offer an even better guest experience.

1. Okay as the name of the room suggest, i’d be expecting a king mattress and I even request for a large bed but i got a queen size bed instead. Maybe should change the name to deluxe queen room so that theres no confusion. 2. The room is overall clean, but I found few crumbs on table and the floor. And the floor is a bit dusty. 3. The picture of the room depicts a mini fridge. But actually there is no fridge. 4. I experienced a power trip on my 1st day there, but it only happened for 5 minutes. 5. I got stuck in the toilet because the door was faulty! To open it, you have to pull the knob down from the outside, but from the inside, it only works if you pull it upwards. It was a bit scary since I was alone at the time.

This is my 2nd time staying at Palette. We were satisfied with our 1st stay and it did not disappoint us on our 2nd stay. Room was clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly. Car parking was limited but we could still park nearby for free. Location was good, a short drive to Bkt Bintang, TRX, Chinatown, etc. Nothing much nearby but there is KK Mart and 99 Speedmart within walking distance.

“Comfortable Stay & Good Experiences”
I stayed here recently and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean, well-kept, and comfortable, with a particularly spacious bathroom that stood out. While no bottled water is given, there is a water dispenser. The hotel has a lift, which is a plus. The staff were friendly and the check-in process was smooth. However, one downside is that the room isn’t soundproof—traffic noise from outside can be heard, especially at night. It wasn’t an issue for me, but may be worth noting for light sleepers. Also, do bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as they’re not provided. A RM50 deposit and RM5 cleaning fee are required, which I found to be reasonable. In summary, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with good basic amenities, though a few small preparations on your part will help make it smoother.
