Great location for extended stay”
This property is a cross between apartment building and hotel. It has well appointed rooms with kitchenette and many rooms with separate bedroom. This makes it suitable to mix work and pleasure. A small desk and comfortable settee make the living area suitable for work and relaxation. Only comment I have is that the HDMI on the TV is hard to access for playing your own media on the TV. Microwave, reasonable sized fridge as well.

Great rooftop restaurant - helpful staff - clean ”
This was an easy stay. The staff were extremely accomodating when asked for help and the cleaning staff were consistently thorough. As someone who requires gluten free food, I was particularly appreciative of the rooftop restaurant staff and management in accomodating my dietary needs. Take a look at this hotel, or at least the restaurant upstairs, if you require gluten free food. Reasonably priced, tasty beverages don't hurt either.

Regular visitor to Vientiane ”
I live in provincial Laos and regularly need to travel to Vientiane. I have stayed at many of the mid to high level hotels in the city buy find Capital Residence best value for money and very conveniently located not far from the city centre. Easy walk to several types of restaurants, shopping and all other facilities. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and ideal for short and long stays. I highly recommend Capital Residence and congratulate their staff for their service.

Nice big rooms and good location”
Nice clean big rooms and bathroom. Rooms are equipped with everything you need including iron/board. Breakfast is very good and staff very friendly. 5 minutes to Mekong riverside night market and plenty of bars /restaurants nearby. Would surely come back here again.

Exceptional”
Very good place for the money. Staff was very nice and helpful. Nana’s Kitchen on the top floor has great tasting food made to order as well for breakfast. Hotel location is close to many places to eat. I highly recommend this place for couples or family.

SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE FRONT DECKS”
Impressive service of front decks, nice breakfast on the rooftop restaurant overviewing the capital landscape is enjoyable. The hotel location is a bit far from the main tourist attractions however it would not be a serious issue for me.

Clean, convenient and spacious”
This hotel is near several good restaurants and not far from centre of town. Easy walk to many shops, restaurants and the Riverside Night Market rooms are large and well appointed with fridge cooktop and microwave. Very good choice to limit exposure to covid due to spacious entry, no need to eat out. This is my second trip and I'll be selecting thos hotel on my next trip to Vientiane.

Overall a very good stay ”
I love the a-la-carte breakfast on the rooftop. Appreciate the airport transfers which were included. As a single female traveller, I felt very safe there. The room was huge and clean.

Acceptable”
They have very strict dollar policies, but when they give change, they just give torn money, graffitied money, and very old money which is cannot be used anywhere in laos, including banks. The reception staff are friendly but they do not have the ability to handle the situation. Even though I stay only a night, I don't understand why the cleaning staff tried to open the door twice. When asked for an explanation, the reception staff just told me that it was my mistake for not to put a 'don't disturb' sign. This is the first hotel that i should put this sign despite staying only a night.

Excellent Hotel”
We had 4 days in Vientiane, and the stay at Capitol Residence made it very enjoyable. The staff are friendly, with good English, the place has a relaxing atmosphere, and the breakfast in the roof top restaurant, was very delicious. All round I can't fault this Hotel, we'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Vientiane.

Good location”
This was our first time staying in Capitol Residence. We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is new, clean room. Hotel's location is kinda good, walking distance to almost all the tourist places, close distance to night market and food shops. Capitol Residence provides free shuttle airport-hotel-airport, located about 5 km from Vientiane International Airport, which might take you about 15-20 minutes. Breakfast choices are okie, they offer western style and asian style. Staffs at restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Only one thing we were really unhappy about is one lady at check-in counter. We stayed for five nights and on the day we checked out (Thursday), we saw clearly on their small board that our room wasn't on the check-in list for that day. We asked for late check-out at 1PM but she denied straight away and give us extension to 12:30. While checking-out, she wasn't friendly at all, chewing chewing-gum, and she even didn't bother to say good-bye when we left. The other staffs (other check-in staffs, room cleaners and all) were very friendly and helpful. We will still recommend Capitol Residence to our friends, but we hope that Capitol will train the staffs better for a better service.

Good to stay”
Actually this is a good service apartments with basic facilities such as kitchen, many types of rooms, bar cafe, and gym (No swimming pool). You need to ask the cooking tools from the hotel if you want to use it, but they will ask you how long you will stay and i don't what is the purpose of that question. I also having trouble communicate with their staff for a while until their supervisor come, but they really try to help you which is I really appreciate it. But the good thing, the location is very good that just nearby the Mekong River which is the tourist center (10 minutes walking) also if you need to buy grocery, rest bike/motorcycle, laundry service, restaurants, massage, good bar, gas station, u can find few shops around the place, walking distance. One of the best thing, local people told they served the best burger in Vientiane in their restaurant located on the rooftop. Overall it was a good experience to stay in this place. Hope this can help another traveler later.

Good room, good staff and excellent breakfast”
Spacious (very spacious indeed), clean and quiet room. Friendly, honest and very helpful staff. I found I left my wallet when checkout, so I called the frontdesk immediately. Not a long while they called me back and told me they had found it. Very appreciate. Good location too. Not really close to riverside but in walking distance. Moreover some nice restaurants around. Highly recommend PDR, so-called the best pizza in Vientiane (it is true!), just opposite to the hotel. Last but not least: they provided excellent breakfast at the rooftop restaurant! Both banana pancakes and waffles with icecream were soooooo delicious!

Good value for money, decent location”
I stayed at Capitol for two nights this week. The location is pretty decent with a minimart, internet cafe and a bunch of restaurants on the same street (Including a great burger place, Rays Grille 100m down the road) with everything you need. There are also a few tuktuks that sit near the hotel if you need one! I was doing a visa run and it was about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the embassy. It's about a 10 minute walk to the river front as well. The room was nice and very large with a comfy bed and good a/c. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming at check in and throughout my stay. The internet wasn't good in my room but I didn't really use it much so it wasn't a huge deal for me. Overall it's a really good value hotel for the price point (Much better then a lot of others for the same price) and I will definitely come back here next time.
