Basically a spa with a berth”
Price, Spa, Location
I had never stayed at a capsule before and wanted to try one out. The beds are like the beds on a ship complete with a privacy curtain. There is a TV and vent. I am 180cm and I fit in the bed barely. If i have any complaint about the capsule is it can get a bit warm inside. I left the privacy screen open just to get more airflow. If you are taller you might want to reconsider. On the floor with the capsules there was a lounge area. To shower you had to go down a couple of floors to the sauna. The sauna was free with capsule stay. The sauna was a standard Japanese/Korean spa with showers, sauna, hot pool, cold pool, etc. The pachinko machines in the changing area were a surprise. Overall if you need a place to sleep and want something a little more private than a communal sleeping room that most spas have then this is a good choice.

Experience capsule hotels”
Capsule, bath house, sauna/jacuzzi
Capsule hotels are not for the claustrophobic. Otherwise, you have to experience it only for one night to get a feel of true Japanese culture.

first time try a capsule”
It was located next to Kanayama station, and Car Park in the basement and around the building, also lots of restaurant nearby.
Location: easy access by public transport or driving. If you drive, u can enjoy free parking in the basement and some car park near the building. Just gave the car park ticket to the staff and the will process it and return to u. it cost 0yen when u exit the car park. Its only about 5 mins walking from Kanayama Station, which u can found JR, meitetsu and kotsu line. Staff: they speak only little English. Speak slow and simple still works. When u check in, you will provided a set of clothing and a key for locker. you are advised to get changed and take a bath before get to bed. (the clothing provided will be your pajamas) Bathing: it was located at 4/F, like a japanese bathhouse, with sauna. Told the staff on 7/F (reception) you are going to bath, they will provide you 2 towels and card. Take them downstairs to 4/F and give it to the counter will return a key for a locker inside. get naked and take a japan style bath! Bed: like the name, its a capsule, look very small, but still very spacious. Inside the capsule, you got a small TV, radio lightblub and alarm. also you got a air-con outlet for ventilation. But the capsule got no door/lock, only a pull-down curtain. U may got disturbed by other in the middle of night, coughing, snoring, etc. Overall, its acceptable. Catering: u can choose Bed & bath / Bed, bath & breakfast when u check in. which cost about 3000yen and 3600yen respectively. Value: I only need a place for sleep and bed, it just what I neeed. and price are reasonable.
