Love the complimentary eco nature walk in the morning organised by the property! Can't wait to come back during the fruits season. It's always a good idea to get back to nature. The bed was comfortable and AC was provided so we slept soundly.

Friendly stay, perfect gateway, need renovation”
If you looking for weekends gateway on natural setting, this is a perfect place. The location, facilities and the staffs are things that I appreciate the most. But the property need seriusly renovation as it about to turn to be rundown resort. I would like to come back if only they decided to upgrade and maintain the property properly.

Location - great PR - great! So helpful from starts till end. Facilities - fair since it’s a glamping sorrounding by nature. No hot water with minimal facilities but it’s fine. Experience - superb! We had campfire, n nature walk. Cleanliness- Need to be improve especially for the tents in a pool area. Lembab, berkuwap, bilik air juga ada kulit ular tersangkut 🤦🏻♀️ swimming pool looks old and not so clean. Safety - not really safe when strays dogs come at night n tried to enter our tents n destroyed our mate at outside tents. They should this issue. We dont ask for a compensation. Snake’s skin in a bathroom is not acceptable. My friend cannot sleep worrying of her kids after she saw the skins. Staffs - they are nice but they can’t make a decisions in certain things. Foods - dinner - disappointed with the menu. We paid for bbq dinner, but we don’t expect that we only have bbq thingy with 2 big plates of nasi goreng yg agak keras and 2 jugs of water for 17pax. We knew that we had to to grill by our own.. but that’s it.. the foods for bbq are too much.. we can’t only eat a bbq foods during dinner . We are malaysian. Who eat only grilled foods n nasi goreng for dinner? It just dont match. We expected a few dishes with plain rice and some bbq menu.. not only eat a grilled foods with nasi goreng. Gosh. It’s not the right way to serve dinner to ur guest. It’s like u are too lazy to cook & make it simple by Just give them all raw meats, seafoods, vegie and let them ‘cook’ by themself. Settled. At the end we cant grilled all the meats n seafoods due to (wasting to much time for grilled.. the kids cant be control anymore bcoz we took to much time by ‘ cooking’) turn out membazir.. sebab byk sgt nak kena grill so we decided to stop. We gave it to staffs to keep in a refrigerator. I wish the wasting raw foods u can change to a simple dishes that we can eat happily together. Secluded location, great for bz city life getaway. Weak coverage good for appreciating the nature and each other company. Yes, the Nature Walk was good exposure for the kids. Bring/ plan ur own activities. Foods not easily accessible except for simple breakfast. Unless prior arrangement is made. Facilities is acceptable but past end of life. Value for money if it's at bargain rates.

"Excellent staff,dissapointing facilities"”
Checked in here last minute,with a friend and her son on 10th November.The tent given to us facing a shabby pool was disappointing full of large holes and the bathroom was really bad.We were fooled by the pictures.This kind of tents should not be given for guests,its really disgusting.When we brought the matter up to Miss Christie they said they would change the tent and said this is called "Glamping"!!This tents aren't fit to be lived in and they should not give excuses.A snake could slither in at night!We ended up paying RM 250 to upgrade to villa instead.Morning hike up the hill was fun but very slippery,I fell a few times with another guests.Wellington boots are definitely not safe for a slippery hill hike.The face saver was Agus the caretaker,he was such a lovely guy,Caravan serai is indeed lucky to have him as he brought the ratings up.Not recommending or coming back again.Front entrance has a muddy patch and my car skidded twice.Its a lovely place but don't shortchange guests.

No Water and Still Calculative ”
Unprofessional service from owner. We went to stay with a group of about 10 people in aug 2019. I booked the suite costing rm500/night which offers heated water in the toilets for 2 day 1 night stay. Upon checking in, the staff informed that the whole site water pump is damaged and there was no water in the camp. Only at 10pm on the 1st day the staff (who were very nice and helpful!) brought a big pail with cold water for us to bathe. We didnt go for the 2nd day morning nature walk as it would be difficult to wash up after that (still no water). The owner didnt give any discount and didnt talk to us to apologise. So basically, we paid rm500/night for heated water and didnt receive it, even though we paid for it. It was unprofessional and greedy of the owner to refuse to extend a discount while still being calculative of no. of pax allowed for nature walk etc. and it ruined our whole trip. Our group of 10 will not be coming back ever again.

Overall it’s a good place to chill and good to experience a glamping style accommodation. But without WIFI connection and very weak telco receptions, make difficulty in doing research on things-to-do in the area or in Bentong town

Nice jungle setting for a short holiday getaway. Good place for a gadget detox as there is no telco connectivity. The place is a bit run down however, and could have been better maintained.

The weather is nice. My kids did enjoyed the moment to play out of the room. Family hiking & camp fire grouping are the best activities that we had at here. The staffs are nice & cooperative. Facilities need to improve & refurbish to maintain the quality.

From this stay we learnt to trust review from other guests. We arrived to surprise how spooky the premise look. Tent was torn a bit here and there and we didn't feel safe to sleep at night. The photos posted on Agoda must have taken by professional photographer or the premise during its good old days. Regardless of all, appreciate warm hospitality by staff.

Dirty ”
We have experienced a very bad issues at Caravan serai Hotel on 27 /07/2019. We checked in at the hotrl reception and found that the hygiene is bad but we thought the hygiene at the room. Should be better, unfortunately the room even worse and we straight brought our luggages and get down to the reception to complaint. Unfortunately the front desk told us that we can't get to refund or any compensation on our stay even we don't wish to stay there. So we wish to bring up this issues to others to Aware about the bad experiences that we face. We wish the relevant party can help us to solve and give us a very good explanation and solution on this issues.
