For the price....”
It wouldn't take much, the bed was clean and comfortable, the room was large, fairly central in Goulburn.. But the bathroom, while huge, needed a good going over. It was Asian style, by that I mean no shower screen or enclosure. The floor tiles were discolored and needs a good scrub. Most of the rooms appeared to be filled with traveling tradies. Anyway, as I said, for the price its pretty good, provided you keep your expectations at that level. The "Suites" is a little misleading.

We stayed one night in a family room. We were very impressed with the reception and the room. Every thing you needed was there! Room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Hotel location is great, very close to shops. Highly recommend to travellers to stay at this hotel.

Very spacious, modern & clean with all facilities you need.... Only thing was that water pressure was a little weak....?! Friendly receptionist, quiet environment & most importantly.... Very clean !!! I will definitely come back for sure :-))

Deceptive photos ”
We were surprised by the reality of the “suites” compared to the advertised photos. We didn’t expect much based on the price, however neither did we expect a driveway entry, reception and parking to be stark, grimy and unwelcoming. Room walls are thin and the door has a clear gap at the bottom, so cars arriving and departing are clearly audible. Mattresses and linens are decent.

Just need a more welcoming entrance and tidying up in parking area. Rooms have been renovated and are ok. But walls need repainting and cobwebs removed . Receptionist was lovely and prompt with our questions .

Recently refurbished, the rooms are very clean with a modern ambience. Bathroom fully tiled and spotlessly clean. The room was perfect for an overnight stay- comfy bed, microwave, kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery ( which we didn’t use). Great location to the centre of town and very quiet. Would definitely recommend if travelling through Goulburn. Check in staff very friendly and provided helpful advice for dinner.

Best value in Goulburn ”
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Carlton Suites. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. It represents great value for money so book ahead. Don’t let the renovations of the adjoining building out the front put you off (old pub). Turn left as you leave the premises and you are are short walk from the soldiers club and a little further on, the Bowlo. The food at the Bowlo was so good, we went back the second night. Stayed 2 nights April 2022

I travelled to Goulburn for a funeral. The staff were wonderful and ensured I had an iron available in the room. It is located close to the town centre and a short walk to the local supermarket. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and has an Amazing shower

No frills accommodation”
We originally booked a family room for 4. Unfortunately, the heating was not working and it was too cold to go without. We were upgraded to 2 separate rooms at no extra charge. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Plenty of space. Kitchen amenities are basic but enough for us at the time. Great location, a block behind the main shopping street.
