Spacious Room and Good Breakfast”
From the hotel to the train station/main water bus stop is about a 10-minute walk and there's also a water bus stop (Tre Archi) right outside of the hotel. It is away from the busy area but at the same time only a few minutes from the street with supermarkets. There's also a street where local people go eat close by, about two water bus stations (OrtO) from the Tre Archi station. The room is spacious and clean. The tub is very clean and no mold underneath the edge of the tub like another well-known 4-star hotel in Florence that I stayed at. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is the best compared to the other two hotels I stayed at during my two weeks trip in Italy.
Great Modern room, Clean, spacious, Great Breakfast.”
Great Modern room, Clean, spacious, Great Breakfast and helpful staffs. The hotel is also close to the pier for public boat transportation with around 10 min walk to the shops area. Local restaurants are in walking distance
Local hotel away from the crowd”
A local, clean hotel away from the crowd. A one minute walk from the nearby water stops station, Tri Archi and a 3-5 minutes walk from another station, Guglie. Water Taxi could be able to drop off right in front of the hotel from airport about Euro120. Breakfast provided were good, try their coffee yoghurt. Wifi provided. One side of the room provide a room with garden and house views, another side would be the canal. Service staff were very pleasant and provide very good suggestions like there is a local home restaurant named "Very Good" which it really rhymes for their pasta and pizza. Did not regret choosing this hotel as the surrounding were quiet and nice after a whole day out with the crowd.
Great hotel. Cozy and comfortable. Only one odd experience when the hotel ran out of cups and dishes during breakfast time and customers were waiting quite a long time. But that happen only one time and never again during our stay(we stayed 3nights). Breakfast was excellent, they also provided prosecco for breakfast!! Ham and cheese was so delicious. Staffs are extremely nice and friendly. I also request for my bf birthday surprise and ordered 1bottle of prosecco and chocolate, they arranged it very very lovely(with some balloons and birthday pop-up card, he got pug dog soft toy and the staff also dressed up the dog, that was really really cute!!). I really appreciated it. We love the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. :)
NO regrets as choice for honeymoon”
Few days prior checking in, googled for review and was shocked by double charging and bad staff attitude review by others. Was really apprehensive, even wanted to forgo my bookings although it was already paid for. Husband say just go ahead to experience it ourselves, no harm. In short, splendid, extremely helpful staffs. I practically needed their assistance for the three whole days we stayed there. Will come and stay again shall I visit Venice. Keep up the good standards!
On the quiet side of the island, still pretty convenient to walk everywhere. The rooms were beautiful, clean and quiet. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful. Don’t skip out on the buffet breakfast if you can. It was delicious and can definitely save you a meal that you don’t need to worry about when planning your days in Venice.
Excellent Hotel in scenic quiet relaxed location”
Me and my wife had a fantastic 3 nights here, Wonderful location to relax. Close to all the local transport for access to busier tourist areas. Only 5 mins from Island of Murano as well via ACTV water bus stop near to hotel. Room was fantastic, breakfast buffet had a great selection and plenty of it to suit all people and the staff were very welcoming and attentive to your every need. Will definitely come back again.
It’s a great hotel in a perfect location. It’s just 5 min away from the main streets , 20 min walk to main attractions, 10min away from the train station with a water bus stop just outside. The hotel is on a gorgeous , quiet street with quite a few restaurants. We stayed there with a 2 years old and a 4 years old kids and they loved it. Breakfast was lovely. We have loved our stay there ! Would definitely recomend it !!!
We got a 70% discount when we booked the rooms and for this price the hotel was vert good value...but I would not have payed full price for this hotel as I think the rooms vere to small for the price. The standard and cleanlyness was great, so was the staff. The breakfast was in my opinion fantastic. It is difficult to find healty breakfeast, wholemeal bread etc. but they had a great selection and also loads of fresh fruit, salad and juices.
The hotel was just lovely and such good value for money. ”
The staff, especially Emmanuel, were so helpful. We were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and when we arrived our room was decorated with balloonss, chocsolates and rose petals. We were upgraded and given complimentary prosecco. The location is a little out of town but that that was a positive for us. It took us 20/25 min walk to St Mark’s Square. Breakfast great too. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel.
Best Hotel I had Stayed in Italy”
This is the best hotel that I had stayed in Italy. Beautiful and clean room with all the amenities. Big bathroom with everything that I need. Try to book early for a better rate.
Great boutique hotel at quiet location. ”
This hotel was wonderful for three of us. The hotel rooms are modern, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast is sufficient, not an overly extravagant spread but with hot foods included. The location was great for us because we enjoyed how quiet the hotel was. We slept with the windows open since it was November and we had church bells in the morning which we loved. Next time I come back to Venice, this would still be my hotel of choice.
Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, very clean, buffet breakfast was great! It is located on the quiet side of Venice, away from the busy street. It's about a 15 min walk from the train station, it can be a hassel when you are walking with luggage. There's a waterbus station about 20 steps away from the front door, it will pretty much take you anywhere on the island. Make sure you get the tourist travel card and you get unlimited access to the bus. Overall it was a great hotel and I wil definitely come back next time I come to Venice!
The hotel's room was lovely, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The location is only 2-3 stops of water bus from Ferrovia where the Santa Lucia train station located. The hotel staff were very welcome and helpfull. Definitely will come back to stay here again whenever I come to Venice, recommended.
good accommodation but not really good service”
Over all, the hotel was very nice. The location, accommodation and the interior design made me wanna stay there the next time I visit Venice. But there's only one pity thing that I would suggest the hotel to improve. Which was that the attitude of the receptionists. I stayed at Hotel Pendini for 4 nights, but everyday when we pass through the reception there's no any worming greeting no matter the receptionist had watched us or not. Made as feel like a normal hotel, like below 2-star. And there's a thing that I did really mind about was that the hotel pronounce my name wrong and put my country wrong on the receipt either.
Best hotel in Venice”
We had a great time staying at Carnival palace. It's very clean, comfortable, big bathroom, big room. It's also just a walking distance to restaurants and very near the boat stop. When you go out of the hotel, you can already see the water. You can also walk to San Marco square from the hotel if you like walking. If ever we got back to Venice, this is the hotel we will always stay in. I would recommend this to my friends.
Will definitely return again.”
Love the quieter location of this hotel. Moving around is definitely very convenient as the vaporetto is just few steps away from the hotel. On a nice cool day, you can take a nice leisurely walk to St Mark's Square.
Luxury style hotel”
We were upgraded to suite, which made us hving good impression of this hotel. Carnival palace is far from main attractions, but it's convenient to take connecting water bus to Burano and Murano islands. Besides, it's within walking distance to train station. Hotel condition is good and new, it's luxury style in their renovation. Wifi is not stable but still kind of acceptable level.
Worth to stay”
From S.Lucia Station, you could rather walk to the hotel on foot in 10 mins or take the waterbus for 2 stops. It was close to the station. The room was spacious with big bed, especially the washroom. Its cleanliness was very impressive, as well. Last but not least, The staff was very helpful as they proactively gave us advise and helped to check some information about waterbus tickets. There were also plenty of choices of the breakfast provided.
A gem at the edge of Venice, just 10 min walk to central station”
The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city right next to a water bus station and in a walking distance from the trainstation. Hotel design and rooms are simply beautiful. Staff is professional and very helpful. An A+ experience.
